Everything was neat and clean

We were told when we booked that we could use the spa with a $40 day pass on the day we didnt have services. When we got there we were told no, it was full. Then when we stopped in the next morning to see if anyone had possibly canceled and they might have room for 3 of us, we were told they don't do day passes on Saturday ever, then when we checked out after our services on Sunday, we were told we could have used the spa on Saturday. When someone is checking in and they are going to be there for Saturday, the spa needs to be clear that there is no availability on Saturday.

The location was perfect in proximity to our home. The food was delicious, never had a bad meal! The room was right near the outside pools, we didn't have to walk far! It was nice having an adult only pool!! The Avani Spa is really nice!!! I'd recommend going there for a day! We liked sitting outside on the patio day or night, by the fire pit. We liked eating outside on the patio at the Waterfront restaurant. That was really nice!! The gift shop had nice trinkets. We bought some nice memorable things. It was nice that they gave us a map of the property when we checked in, we really used it.

The beds were lumpy. They were uncomfortable to sleep on. We didn't have any coffee cups or cups in the bathroom to brush our teeth. We had to ask for a bag for the ice bucket. We slept late so we missed housekeeping. But the room was clean. We tried to get a noon check-out time , I texted the front desk in the morning but they never responded and I tried calling and they didn't answer. So we had to checkout at 11 am. I had a haircut appointment at noon. The front desk told me to check with them in the morning I was checking out, but they didn't respond. I didn't like that the outside doors weren't locked, anyone could walk in!! We stayed in building 7 and the door by the parking lot was open. We didn't need a key card to get in.

The property had multiple pools which were well located to the residential buildings. The facilities are well run with cheerful employees. Even the night auditor provided good service at checkout. The Pier 290 restaurant was excellent for Breakfast. The drink stand by the pool made wonderful drinks for a hot day. Walking around the Lake was scenic and the grounds are well kept.

Parking was tight. The parking around the residential buildings was competitive to find a good space. The $24 per day resort fee presumably covered parking as well. The rooms will nice, were dated. We were in Building #7. I believe the resort is doing some room renovations slowly.

The place is beautiful, especially when the weather is nice. I was lucky to have amazing days, and most people were very friendly. The views are among the best on the lake. I’ve been to Wisconsin many times, and this is one of the most beautiful areas.

However, I had a frustrating experience at check-in. I had asked in advance if I could arrive early to use the facilities, and was told yes. So my partner and I arrived at 1 PM, three hours before check-in time. But when I spoke to the receptionist, she wasn’t very friendly and told me I might not be able to get back in unless I asked another guest to share their key — which felt very uncomfortable and inappropriate. So we waited in the hot lobby for hours. Later, I realized I could have used the facilities after all, but didn’t know the layout and trusted the receptionist’s word. My advice: if you arrive early, ask for a map or a quick explanation, because some areas are accessible and worth enjoying before check-in.

The room was so wonderful and the pool was very relaxing. :)

The misunderstanding about the spa. We assumed the spa was $40 each if we wanted to access the adult pool. It’s $40 to access the spa pool but you also have to spend $100 a person in the spa first by purchasing one of their services. So for the two of us it would have been a minimum of $280 and unfortunately there weren’t any services available for us to do together at the time of our stay. Had we known we may have considered doing something different upon booking our stay.

Great location, very nice resort for families, couples, any type of travellers. We enjoyed the adult only spa, drinks at the bar and board games. The resort is a short drive from downtown. The room was spacious for two, there was a mini fridge and complimentary water, coffee and tea. The spa provided slippers, robes and towels, that was really nice to have!

On demand movies were ridiculously expensive, $19.99 plus tax per movie, that’s double what I pay for my monthly Disney subscription. The spa hours could have been a bit longer, they close at 7 pm, also the water in the hot tub in the evening around 5.30-6 pm was cold!

The location is right next to the lake and had a lot of onsite eating and entertainment options. Everything is connected and you don't need to go outside to get to anywhere in the resort. The Spa was exceptional. They took my pre trip preferences seriously and got me a room near the spa so everything was very convenient. The staff was kind and I felt very safe during my stay. Everyone was professional and made sure I had everything I needed. The grounds are gorgeous and there's plenty of outside seating. I checked out a bicycle and explored the area. The pool and hot tub areas were very nice and spacious. The gym was very modern and had a good variety of equipment. My room was quiet and I didn't hear my neighbors. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent. Each day the cleaning service did a great job of restocking and making up the room. I never ran out of anything. I had a very good first time stay and plan on returning.

The onsite yoga classes are no longer offered. I would have liked to have this updated on the website before coming so I could have made other arrangements.

The property was quiet and in a great location. The breakfast buffet was very good and a good price. Walking around the resort was easy. Everything was accessible indoors. We didn't have to walk outside to get to different areas. The spa was relaxing and the staff was attentive. We were able to order drinks poolside in the spa area. I shopped at the gift shop. I forgot pajamas and found a article of clothing that was reasonably priced

The lock on our patio door was broken and the extra latch was not secured well to the door frame.

Great amenities at the resort and the staff was very helpful. Plenty of good food and beverage options. Perfect location minutes walk from the lake and beach. Although breakfast wasn’t included the buffet was reasonably priced and very good food options.

Room was generally clean but there was an empty beer can and plastic container between the bed and night stand and we were missing fresh coffee cups so could pay more attention to detail when cleaning. We had a newborn which we preferred to use our bassinet stroller to get around which was easier said than done. The resort was very nice and updated but you could tell it was built prior to ADA requirements with lots of stairs everywhere and limited elevators. We couldn’t get from the room to the lobby indoors without lifting the stroller up/down at least one flight of stairs.

Pool area was warm, had balls to play with, had towels available, was clean and so were the locker rooms. Staff for scavenger hunt were really friendly. Great idea to get the kids moving. Arcade area was large enough for our kids age group and fairly priced. Restaurants variety and staff were pleasant to interact with as well. LOVED the numerous on site activities, ie ice cream by the fire pit, ice skating with free skates for guests, scavenger hunt, arcade, movie theater, etc.
