This is an older drive up motel (making it easier to load and unload) that is clean with spacious rooms, no frills .The location is perfect- away from the downtown area but walkable if you were up for good walk. What is memorable here is the staff and the property- a community feel that is uncommon today. The pool is adjacent to the motel and surrounded by outdoor tables and chairs with umbrellas, a fire pit with a grill, ping pong, badmitton, a mini arcade area for kids, all on lovely and slightly shaded grounds. The pool and the hot tub ( lobby) were open until 10pm. Both were fantastic, with the hot tub truely being hot with a timer. It was mostly quiet after 10pm. Coffee is provided. There is a small microwave and and larger then average motel fridge. We brought our own breakfast items and ate at the table and two wooden chairs provided in the room. This place was a good value, and we were also given two free waterpark passes which was even a better value. The staff at the desk were always cheerful and helpful, and we were told the owner lives on the property if we ever needed anything. The downside here were the beds (worn out) and no seating in the room besides two wooden chairs.There are blackout curtains and the room is dark, however plenty of lighting is available. Being an older property, electrical outlets were few. I will always remember the fun we had here- particularly sitting at the pool listening to the music, as the motel patrons were picnicing, playing ping pong, sitting by the fire, and another summer slips away! Everything was really great! Start from booking.com- through confirmation from the Amber's inn until end of our lovely 3 nights to stay over there! Amber's Inn & Suites is a perfect for my son and I. First the lovely place (feels like you're at home)- We got first floor Room 107 (tidy-wide)- (middle) close by the firepit (smore's-my son's fav), swimming pool, ice machine, hot tub, parking in front of your door, unless if you are in second floor (no elevator), close by the downtown-tourist attraction, convenience store, restaurants. Staffs/Management- They are really friendly, smiley face, and promptly response even they are busy bee when you need something. Overall, the place is tidy and quite-really hands-on kudos to the owner (You did a great job). My son says, "Can we come back again here Momma!"

As much as I would want to gatekeep this place, I want people to have a nice Inn to stay at when in Wisconsin. Everything was super clean and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. They have a lot of sitting places and amenities. The pool and hot tub were clean, they have a bon fire area with seats around it at night when the weather is nice, a little arcade house, ping pong table, basketball hoop, a grill, a volleyball net, playground, and a gazibo! An amazing place for everyone! Especially big groups and families with children :)

We absolutely love this place! The owner, Jamie, and her team are amazing and provide great customer service. This place is super cute and within walking distance to downtown Dells. We received free Noah's Ark tickets with our stay which is an awesome bonus and makes this an awesome value. My mom and I have been to this place two times now, as an annual trip, and we already booked our annual stay for 2026. Would 100% recommend!

Jamie and the staffing were amazing!! I've never had such pleasant hosts before. The lighting was great in the rooms and it was very roomy. I loved the fire pit. However, it was a bit hot to partake in that. The general atmosphere was very inviting And the pool And hot tub were great. Having tickets at no cost to noah's ark every day of your stay Was a huge plus.

Our toilet clogged at The beginning of our stay. We had a little bit of an ant problem but Luckily it was isolated in one area And Jamie and Diego were quick To take care of it Along with the toilet. I think the bedding could have used improvement. It would have been nice had the drink vending machine worked And that all the video games in the arcade were up and running.

Pool area was very nice. Also benches and tables outside our room was a nice touch. Grounds well laid out. Rooms were large. Shower good.

Rooms were a pretty spartan, decor wise. Could stand some more color and mom and pop hotel charm. Need recycle only garbage containers. Dump the shampoo conditioner combo. Beds could be less soft. Could provide coffee and local pastries early in the am. Benches could be ergonomically better.

Everything was wonderful!! The outside was beautiful, they have a gazebo, firepit, pool, corn hole and a net set up outside to play different sports. They have a hot tub right inside the office, a nice area with chairs. Boards games are available in the main office if you want to play something. They had tables, chair and benches outside the rooms, my husband and I enjoyed that, while relaxing one night. Our room was HUGE!! we had the deluxe suite with one king/queen bed, microwave/frig .....there was a small table with chairs, plenty of room to set down and eat. There was plenty of room for hanging clothes, dresser as well. It was just a few blocks out of the hustle and bustle, so it was quiet. Speaking of quiet, they have a 10pm lights out rule, everyone is expected to respect others. There was no loud carrying on, and if anything happened, you could reach the owner, who lives on site. For someone that travels, alot, that was a great perk. Everyone that was staying as well, were very nice and followed the rules of the hotel. It made the trip even nicer. I always look up places before we go, read reviews, Amber's went over the top with my expectations. Though the information I read, said they serve a continental breakfast, they do not, but it was okay. They also offer everyone that stays with you, a FREE ticket to Noah's Waterpark near by. That was an extra bonus that shocked me, but unfortunately we didn't partake, due to the colder weather during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, it's not the chain hotels, it's much more personal and the owner/staff has your best stay experience in mind. We were over the moon, and would glady stay again.

Absolutely nothing

The young woman that checked us in was very nice. The room was a little dated, but clean, and a/c worked great. Cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I had thought I booked a first floor room, but ended up with a 2nd floor which was a little difficult going up/down since one in our party has COPD and another was recovering from a leg injury. Although there were 4 of us staying, there were only 2 hand towels.

We enjoyed the friendly staff, downtown location, and large room. I really liked the large windows/curtains. The facility put a lot of effort into making the location a fun destination. They had a mini arcade, fire pit, corn hole, outdoor pole, mini playground, and the indoor hot tub.

We had to ask for towels and washcloths. They didn’t offer breakfast so that encouraged us to try different breakfast spots. The carpet in our room was a little dirty. Our preschooler had black feet after walking barefoot on the carpet.

The rooms are huge and walking distance to the main area shopping, restaurants and attractions. The rooms are also very quiet, extremely clean and equipped with a fridge, microwave dining table and living room area. The location is next to a Quick trip that has all your grocery and beverage needs.

Not that we watched much TV but the signal would go out often. In an old school, pre tech era, "Americana" property, there are no electrical outlets by the bed for our cell phones but we made it work.
