I feel like we struck gold with this hotel! The service was so friendly and helpful -- and when we lost an item in the hotel, they went way above and beyond to help out: My daughter uses airpods as an assistive device, and not long after we checked out of the hotel, realized she'd left an airpod in the hotel room. We were very anxious to find it, so we returned to the hotel, where a whole team of staff members -- front desk, housekeeping, facilities, pretty much everyone! -- helped us look. They went into the room with flashlights, checked the (excellent!) breakfast area, and even put on gloves and shook out the hotel laundry sheet by sheet! We must have spent close to an hour looking, and everyone seemed so genuinely eager to help us. Unfortunately, we couldn't find it and had to leave empty-handed. We were directed to the closest stores to purchase a replacement, however, which was very helpful! Two days later, we received a phone call: They had found the airpod! They packed it up and shipped it right out to our home in Maryland without delay. Seriously, who does this kind of thing in 2025? It's so rare to be treated so thoughtfully, and I am very grateful to everyone who not only spared us the expense of a new set of airpods, but who treated me and my daughter with such respect and thoughtfulness. What a treat.

There was a problem locating my reservation initially. It was late at night, I was tired, and the front desk staff was so nice about it. They rebooked me, gave me two drink vouchers and followed up the next day. Also, free shuttle to the airport is amazing...Austin was super sweet and told me all about the area.

woke early to next door neighbor on a phone call...walls are kind of thin. Housekeeping was efficient, but I felt like they were lurking outside my door early in the morning waiting for me to leave when I was just going down for coffee.

Location and hotel were great and the every single staff member we met was nice and fun! Front desk people are wonderful and we have no complaints about the bar, waitresses, drivers - all were great!

Breakfast ended at 10:00 am right when we came down, so that was disappointing. And we took the hotel shuttle to a concert at The Sylvee, but when we called for pickup, the shuttle stopped running at 10pm and we were not told that at the time we used that mode of transportation, so that was a bit inconvenient as they knew where we were going and that a concert is not over until well after 10pm.

My showerhead was a handheld contraption that I couldn’t set up to stay on a hinge. I had to hold it in my hand, which was cumbersome but wasn’t a big deal because the room was so clean and comfortable and I love the location and I’m sure I could’ve had them fix itbut I didn’t bother. Regardless I will definitely stay here again and again.

Really friendly staff, great value. Great breakfast, easy park. I would stay here again definitely. One of the better hotel stays in awhile.

A little off campus as I was taking a class at the student union. However, that means a little less traffic and not as noisy. So that worked out well.

Loved this hotel! It is conveniently located to everything on the UW_Madison campus and everything is walkable from the hotel. The hotel staff was remarkable. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay the best possible. The room was spotless, as were the public areas of the hotel. From the lobby, I don't think we ever waited for an elevator and minimal wait for the elevator from our floor. The food in the hotel bar was very good and reasonability priced, a nice change of pace for a hotel bar/restaurant.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Super friendly and helpful staff, including the shuttle drivers. If you are not traveling with a car, this is the place to stay due to free shuttle service anywhere within two miles of the hotel. Outstanding location too.

Clean, safe, waking to UW Madison

Charge for morning coffee and breakfast (Hampton Inn across the street -same brand - complimentary breakfast). No outdoor place to sit and relax.

Location, clean, friendly staff, didn’t have to pay for bottled water in the room, recycling bin in room, nice supply of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel.

Had some issues with consistent shower temperature

The location was great. Very close to campus. The room was comfortable, bed was comfortable. The lighted make-up mirror was a nice addition. I loved the warm cookie and water bottle upon arrival. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The shower had a leak and it was difficult to fall asleep with the drip, drip, drip. I could hear it even after I closed the bathroom door. After listening to it for a while trying to sleep, I ended up putting a towel in a trash bin to catch the water quietly. I didn't tell the front desk because it was after midnight when I first noticed it (when I went to bed). I was only staying one night. I'm sure if I had reported it, they would have fixed it or moved us to a different room. Too bad I noticed so late! Also there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so the mirror fogged up and it took a while to clear after I showered.
