A comfortable and clean hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Good location. Breakfast was nice. A special thanks to Azim, who went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. He speaks English well and was incredibly helpful in arranging everything we needed. His recommendations made our time in Samarkand truly enjoyable. Azim is a real asset to this hotel - thank you for making our stay so memorable!

One aspect that could be improved is the bathroom setup. It would be helpful to have a bidet or water jet available, as not all cultures are comfortable using only toilet paper. We noticed this was also the case in several other hotels across Uzbekistan, which was a bit surprising given that the majority of the population is Muslim. Adding this feature would certainly enhance comfort and cultural sensitivity for many guests.

As the only guest during my stay, I felt really special. Things were done only for me, the experience to have a breakfast table ser just for me was wonderful. I commend the two gentlemen that I dealt with, at the reception and during breakfast. They were superb!

I didn't dislike anything! If I have to say something, don't expect a modern hotel as such. No elevator and basic rooms, not that there is anything wrong with that! The room and the bathroom were extremely clean. Location is also good. In the Russian part of the city but still close to many historical sites

The room was very big and quite confortable. The owner and staff were very nice and extremely helpful, always trying to make the best for your stay. The room did not have shower gel and there was a malfunction with the hairdryer. However, as soon as it was reported, the staff made both available in the same day. The breakfast room is amazing and the breakfast quite nice and tasty! Also worth to mention the free transfer from the train station to the hotel. Would definetly come back.

I loved the warm hospitality I received from the owner of the hotel. He was very hands on and ensured everything I needed was provided. It's a family business as his sons also work at the hotel so you know you will be well looked after. The hotel was unbelievable clean and so was my room. I loved the firm materace and very good shower pressure. I found big shampoos for ladies (incl hair conditioner) and also men - everything was thought through. The bedding colours were tasteful and duvet very comfortable. The room was very spacious. I am planning on staying there again and highly recommend to other guests. You will not be disappointed.

The speed of the internet was somewhat slow

The manager and staff were very generous, helpful and attentive. It looks like these are the characteristics of all people in Uzbekistan. The room and hotel in general were clean, and they offered free water all the time.

The location is a bit far from some of the most popular sightseeing locations but not prohibitively so if you like walking. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming. The cooked items are not kept warm.

Good location with several good restaurants nearby. Wonderful friendly helpful staff, always ready to help. Nice rooms, good size and comfortable. A big spread for breakfast!

The stairs. A big strain on my legs and knees as I had spinal surgery a few months ago. However when I told the staff of my problems they moved me one floor down. That was much better, and I could cope with 1 flight of stairs.

Staff were so nice and helpful - the owner is a cheerful, friendly person. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cool. It's easy to catch a Yandex taxi outside the hotel to go to all the wonderful sights in Samarkand.

Just a small thing - the music at breakfast was a bit loud and mournful - we like to eat our breakfast quietly or with some soft, cheerful music.

Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate us, clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast and great location! We were easily able to organise trips / taxis from the property who helped us with this.

No fridge in room. This would have been a welcome addition for chilled water etc.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They messaged in advance to let us know there wouldn’t be much of a view, gave us complimentary breakfast and let us extend our checkout to just before our train.
