The apartments are well suited for a long stay trip. It is well situated within walking distance to the majority of travel/activity agents, transport hire, and ferries. Iririki Island is just across from the apartment with a free ferry where a day pass can be purchased. The majority of shops are just a few minutes away. The apartment included a kitchenette, washing machine, and dryer. The furniture is functional and clean. We were unfortunate to experience the earthquakes that hit Port Villa on 17/12/2024. However, Elliott and his staff were fantastic. He made sure we were safe and looked after. Even made sure we had internet again within days and assisted us were possible until flights were available, days after our initial booking. The earthquakes were proof that it is a strong and safe building with friendly, caring staff. The Waterfront bar across the street has great margaritas and tasty food if you don't feel like cooking. The Mariner is a good base to return to after a day of exploring.

Fantastic studio apartment in great location in Port Vila! The luxury apartment was decorated nicely and had everything I needed. Most importantly, air con and also a washer/dryer! It was by far the best place I stayed in Vanuatu, and was an excellent base to explore the island. Balcony was lovely too, with nice views at sunset. Location wise it's in a safe and quiet area, with off street parking and a combination locked door for entry to the compound. Manager was friendly and very responsive. Would definitely stay here for my next trip to Vanuatu, and strongly recommend to others!
There was a problem with the initial advance payment during booking due to a bank issue, but this was resolved prior to check in. Apparently this is a common occurrence in Vanuatu with bank connectivity, so just be aware of this.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic apartment for four nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location couldn't be better—situated close to all the amenities and attractions we wanted to explore. We found it incredibly convenient to access nearby restaurants, shops, and sightseeing spots, making our trip even more enjoyable. The staff at the apartment were exceptional; they were not only friendly and welcoming but also a fantastic source of information. They were quick to respond to our requests and went above and beyond to ensure that all guests felt well taken care of. Their attentiveness made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to Elliot, the property manager, who exemplifies outstanding communication. He reached out to us promptly after our booking, ensuring that we had all the information we needed for a smooth check-in and stay. Throughout our time there, Elliot was always available for any questions, making our experience stress-free. We particularly loved the idea of the precheck-in, where we received a wealth of information that guided us throughout our trip. It was invaluable in helping us navigate the area and discover hidden gems. A big bonus during our stay was the TV, which had ESPN! My husband was thrilled to be able to watch his favourite NBA show live, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. The apartment itself was a haven of safety, cleanliness, and neatness. It was well-maintained and offered a comfortable atmosphere that made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. We also loved the veranda, a perfect spot to sip our morning coffee while soaking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay at this apartment was remarkable, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. With its ideal location, superb staff, and welcoming environment, it truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a memorable experience!

We loved our stay here at Mariner Apartments!! The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well equipped with kitchen facilities, comfy beds, good air conditioning, and a washing machine and dryer which we really appreciated. The location was super convenient being so close to town but still nice and quiet. My favourite part though was definitely the view that we had from our balcony which was absolutely STUNNING! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and were always happy to help if we needed anything or had any questions. We felt so well looked after and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Location was great, across from beautiful blue water, easy access to a supermarket up the road, car hire up the road, bars and restaurants nearby. Tough times post earthquake, so the accessibility of the main hub in town is restricted but not impossible to get into as a few business are starting to reopen. Highly recommend booking a car for your visit or get a grasp on transport. The locals are very helpful, honest and just beautiful people. Walking down the street with anyone and everyone saying ‘good morning’ or ‘happy new year’ sets the tone for how resilient, grateful and kind the locals are, the world could learn something. Elliot the apartment host was great, couldn’t do enough for us. We will return soon!

Fantastic location with stunning views across to Iririki Island. Well set up apartment which was kept beautifully clean by Ruth and her housekeeping team. Close to Au Bon Marche for self catering and superb French restaurant Lalala a very short walk away. Parking on site for our hire car. Elliot was incredibly responsive when an issue cropped up with the TV. Fixed in no time! Thank you for all your efforts to ensure we had a wonderful family holiday and first visit to Vanuatu.

This is a great choice for those who want to be close to Port Vila. It’s only a short 10-minute walk to town, and in either direction there’s a Bon Marché supermarket. The apartment has a full-on kitchen with pretty much everything should you want to cook, or across the street is a very nice restaurant open for lunch and dinner. The apartment is very comfortable and everything works. The WiFi is very good and you even have Netflix. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony reading and enjoying the view of the harbor across the way. You do get car noise from the road below, but that would be true of anywhere in Port Vila. It stops in the evening, so no problem and it didn’t bother me. The staff here are lovely people; they keep everything in spotless shape. Communication before and during my stay was excellent. I especially appreciated the transfer service to and from the airport. I’d happily stay here again.

Elliot and his team always look after me so well when I am in town. If you need to stay in Port Vila, then this is the location. Close to supermarkets and with onsite parking, the rooms are also fantastic with cooking facilities and comfy beds! The view from my balcony was amazing as usual and watching the sun go down over the water was stunning as always. Its on the main road but the traffic noise is minimal. Elliot always goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is great and he is very happy to help when things go wrong with flights etc which happens regularly in Vanuatu! Thanks again!

Mariner made it really easy for us. We had to work for two days while vacationing and needed solid wifi. Their network didn’t let us down once. Also the rooms were incredibly spacious, making it easy to relax. Location is very close to town so I walked to the supermarket at lunchtime to buy stuff for dinner, very convenient. What I also loved was that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed - pots, pans, knives, kettles, microwaves, everything was there. Even a rice cooker which came in handy! Also the staff were incredibly flexible which made our life a lot easier.

Central quite location overlooking PV Harbour & Iriki Resort. Walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, car hire & town. 24 hour security which is also comforting. Great little stop over for a few nights with family. Kitchen & laundry in our room was a big help. Food in PV is not cheap so we opted to cook at home one night & sit on the verandah watching the view. Staff very lovely too.
Nothing to not like.
