It’s a very relaxed place. It is clean and has everything you need. Staff are friendly. Kids loved the pool and the bar is really convenient for drinks and food. Breakfast was decent too with lots of fresh fruit, bread, cereals and a small amount of hot food. Really enjoyed the Sunday night cultural show and buffet – would definitely recommend booking in for this. The location is excellent. Walkable to markets,  local restaurants, supermarket and Iririki Island jetty (if you’d like to spend a day there for beach and snorkelling). Also, a short bus ride to restaurants, markets and tourist attractions further afield. Hotel is on a main road (but not noisy at all), so hailing the local buses was super easy (the ‘buses’ are ridden with other passengers but are essentially private vans where you offer around 100-150 vatu per person - more for longer trips). A quick recommendation for the family fire show at Banyan Bar (about 2kms away) on Saturday nights from 7pm – great atmosphere, food and drinks.

Some parts of the hotel are pretty tired but they were doing some improvement works while we were there, so I’m sure that will help.

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Port Vila, museum, market and coffee stall close by. Also convenient to minibuses and helpful in-house tour desk for organising trips further afield. I liked the inclusion of breakfast with a variety of items to choose from, just right, not too much. Our room was well maintained and the daily housekeeping exemplary. All staff were welcoming.

I would prefer an earlier check in time eg 2pm rather 3pm, we arrived around 1.30pm after an international flight so would have been great to access our room before 3pm.

Hotel was very family friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant during breakfast was superb. The room was very spacious. The Sunday evening buffet with the cultural music performance lit up the atmosphere. The buffet food was delicious. Vanuatu beef is the best.

The room was not adequately lit. I wish also that the internet codes didn't have to expire after every 24 hours. The room needed to be cleaned by default daily and not only at the request of the guest - that is standard practice in hotels.

Rooms were 3-4star quality in a Western Setting. Clean and comfortable... pool was very nice. The complimentary breakfast is pastries, toast and spreads, cereals, some fruit, tea & coffee... if you want eggs or hot breakfast that is extra at a reasonable price.

Very spread out property, lots of stairs and not help getting our bags to and from the room. So, older patrons may find this difficult. Numbers of exterior lights are not working around the pathways, so it is quite dark to traverse the property. AND, THEY DO NOT TURN THE A/C UNIT ON IN THE RECEPTION AREA!!!

The room was comfortable, the staff members welcoming and very accommodating. The Melanesian Cultural show was great value and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Air Vanuatu's demise has a profound affect on occupancy rates throughout Vanuatu. As a result businesses reduced options to minimise their cost, which slightly reduced availability of choice say at buffet Continental Breakfasts.

Central but unfortunately not much happening in the centre since the earthquake. Easy to catch the local bus.

Staff needed a lot of prompting to give information about transport /trips etc. Being charged 5 nights instead of just 4(plane got canceled)-could have been a bit more customer friendly.

spacious clean room, good firm mattress, we slept well. Good to have air conditioning.

wifi not working at times, this may have been the provider not the hotel though.

the staff were so nice and helpful. The bar manager at the oasis was wonderful and also Eric at the door was friendly, helpful, and cheerful. the hotel is comfortable and clean. it was a lovely stay.

the wifi was horrible. it wasnt working properly when i was there and made it very diffcult for emails and the work i needed to do.

Our room was spacious and very clean, and the staff are warm and very friendly. Pool area is lovely. The restaurant Casa Mia very good for breakfast and dinner. Great location within walking distance to town.

Bit more variety for breakfast would be great especially fruit.

Pool. Room. Breakfast included. Friendly staff. Housekeeping. Management were friendly. Got water and power running as soon as possible after the quake. Continued to provide food. Strived to provide in challenging circumstances.
