This was an absolutely life changing trip. I do not know where to begin, The resort, staff, location, facilities. Everything is above and beyond. I travelled alone with my 1.5 year old and I was so nervous to do so, it turned out to be the best trip and experience of my life and Erakor had so much to do with that. Easy to get to the mainland for day trips yet far enough away to feel like you are really in your own paradise away from it all. I am already planning my return

everything was perfect

A 3 minute ferry ride from the mainland to this tiny island paradise. The staff are awesome from check-in to the restaurant staff, to water sports shop. Kayaks (single & doubles), SUP, snorkelling gear are all free to use. I would bring your own mask and snorkel as the quality of mask and snorkel was poor but the fins were great. There is an amazing reef system with a variety of coral and sea life right off the beach in front of the restaurant. We stayed in a Lagoon Villa which was literally right on the beach. The large balcony with table & chairs and also comfy arm was almost in the water, perfect for watching the sunset with your favourite glass of something. The villa was clean, spacious, well appointed with a large ensuite. The bed was comfy. You can access the whole island with an easy walk path to all areas. The food in the restaurant is good with lots of variety. Breakfast is continental style with cooked option included in the price, so something for everyone. The ferry back to the mainland runs pretty much non-stop all day for those wanting to go back and forth. The resort can organise all trips and excursions no problem. This was our favourite resort during our trip to Vanautu.

Nothing to dislike.

Where do i start! I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and really made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The facilities were great, clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. There were plenty of fun activities to do, but also lots of quiet spots to unwind and soak in the beautiful surroundings. The whole place has such a special, friendly vibe that makes you never want to leave. Honestly, everything about my stay was wonderful and I can’t wait to come back!

Nothing really

I researched many places to stay around Port Villa, and so glad we decided to stay here. Staff were incredible (they love babies). Food was amazing, facilities were great, amazing snorkelling off the beach. Felt very safe as you’re on your own island with security patrolling 24 hrs a day. Also you’re in a sheltered bay where no large marine animals come in so snorkelled with peace of mind. Travelled with 1 year old and it was the perfect trip for her. Everyone loves babies!

The 2 bedroom garden villa does not have a living room, it is just two small bedrooms and connected bathroom. Would upgrade to another room if you need a living room.

I don’t know where to start with how incredible our stay was, the staff are the friendliest people I’ve met and the service is phenomenal. We stayed in the room with the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lagoon, we spent a lot of time just relaxing and enjoying the views. Location is great, the main town doesn’t have a lot to do so it’s nice to be secluded on an incredible island, but it’s still accessible to the mainland in 2 mins via the 24 hour boat. Food in the restaurant is great, I’d recommend the chefs dinner on the beach. Breakfast also great with large selection. Couldn’t fault anything and can’t wait to recommend to friends and come visit again.

Amazing location on secluded island which also helpfully contained the kids while giving the some independence to roam. Lots of kids activities with a games room containing table soccer, table tennis & pool, a great little playground, giant chess, Basketball net, volleyball net and friendly staff always willing to play with them if we wanted a bit of adult time. Also a great swimming pool & free water sports incl. kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling right off the beach (with plenty of gear to borrow and beach towels too) and fishing (for the kids). Was perfect for our family with 2 boys, aged 7&10. And only a 5min ferry ride to the mainland for day trips etc & short drive to port villa. The resort also organised several on island activities (movie night, melanesian feast night with fire dancing, kids party and lagoon cruise) so there was no real need to leave the island.

Nothing. We loved it all.

Breakfast was included and was excellent; we received an upgrade on our villa which was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were always helpful - our walk around Erakor Village with Frieda was a highlight! The Melanesian Feast and fire dancing was fun too. We really felt looked after and would have spent twice as long here if we could have.

The timing of the high/low tides meant we couldn't snorkel or paddle board during the middle part of the day; this was obviously nobody's fault but did reduce the time we could be in or on the water which was frustrating, but there was plenty to do, especially for families.

Nice location away from the hustle of Port Vila. Owned and operated by locals. Sheltered snorkeling and water sports area. Friendly attentive staff.

Some Snorkeling equipment is getting old and needs to be updated. Bring your own if this is important to you. It was adequate though to get in a bit of snorkeling to try it out. I would have like to see more local and fresh items on menu, however it is aimed at families with a western appetite.

Everybody working at Erakor is warm and accommodating. Every corner of the island has exceptional views of the lagoon and the villa’s are generously spaced out so that you can enjoy your villa to yourself without worrying about noise or feeling like you are too close to other guests.

Our shower pressure was extremely low and the temperature gauge was very temperamental. We opted to use our bath most nights because of this.

Location is perfect, close to airport. Feee ferry to mainland all time of the day. Wifi excellent. Staff are very friendly. Water sports are free. Feeling safe. Local show on thursday is very impressive. Airport transfer is well organised.

Dinner is expensive. Breakfast is poor. There is no daily water in the room. night activities are not enough.
