We loved our stay at the Ramada – it is a lovely, modern resort. It is very relaxing, with beautiful views across the lagoon. It is walking distance to a supermarket (Au Bon Marche) – and we walked into Vila several times, and caught a bus back. We had a lagoon view suite near to the restaurant and pool. The resort is hilly and paths are steep but the resort buggy dropped up right to our door and always arrived quickly. The room was large, with modern décor, and had a good kitchen and sitting area, as well as a large balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Food was very good. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast a few days and the buffet was good, omelettes were excellent. Dinner in the Akiriki Grill was excellent. We also ate lunch a few times at the Sports Bar and had more than a few drinks in there. The staff were all great, happy and smiling. Special shout out to Peter, Saniki, and Bob the pool guy, as well as all the restaurant staff, and the buggy driver who always had a smile for us. Everyone looked after us very well and we will be back.

Nothing really

The room was great, we had a 2br lagoon view and both had big ensuite. The rooms were nice, but slightly dated. There were several maintenance issues, fans, tvs, lifts etc not working. Bob in the pool area was attentive and fantastic.

Extremely slow service. At one point we were the only people in the restaurant with several staff standing around, it took 20 min to get our drinks, and when I did get mine it was wrong. It also took 40min+++ to get food. Restaurant opened late for breakfast several times. Be prepared to be on island time.

Exceptional resort in Port Vila. The staff were so lovely, friendly and accomodating. Our room was modern and comfortable and overlooked the lagoon. The spa was amazing, I’d particularly recommend the thai massage with hot compress, the polynesian massage and the volcanic facial. The restaurant served great food and the buffet breakfast had good variety. The pool had a swim up bar and a beautiful view out to the lagoon. Our highlight was dancing at the cultural show at the resort restaurant.

Room and bedding very nice. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. We love cooking and sourced fabulous produce at the local market.

Transfer service was expensive and unreliable - we paid for return transfers and agreed on times but when it came to them delivering, they didn’t turn up to meet the flight and we had to call them and wait. They don’t track flights. The airport staff who helped us contact them advised this is not uncommon!! The trip back was not at the time we agreed and we had to push to get them to take us at a time we were comfortable with to catch our flight. Left a bad taste. If we’d taken a cab it would have been cheaper and we’d have had a much better overall impression of the facility. Our time in Port Vila was none the less amazing with lots of wonderful memories.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked the large bedrooms. We went in the pool and used the kayak to go on the lagoon. We stated for one week and would come again.

The beach isn’t really a beach, more like a lake. We did not see people swimming in it. The property in on a cliff so fine for adults but not great for prams or little legs. Next time I would ask her a bedroom higher up as we could hear people above us.

The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, shout out to Bob at the pool who was always on hand to help us out. The facilities are nice and everything is running well after lockdown. The property is pretty and the golf buggies running up and down the hill are great and there within minutes to take you up and down (sounds lazy but it's a steep hill and not so nice to walk up in the hot hot weather). The breakfast buffet is amazing, so much choice including live egg station, we literally didn't have the same thing for breakfast any day of our seven days there.

Outside of breakfast, which was included in our package and fabulous, the food and drinks were very over priced for the quality of food being served. It isn't uncommon on islands for food and drink to be expensive, it's sometimes hard/ costly to get supplies out there, but the ramadas food and drink was well overpriced in regard to the quality of it and compared to other places on the island. As you tend to spend time by the pool eating and drinking, this actually gets really costly by the end of the week. It sounds like a small thing, but it would put us off going back. Which is sad to say as we loved the staff at the resort so much. Advice to management would be to adjust the prices at the bar and restaurant, so the food and drinks are better value.

The room was amazing - spacious, we’ll equip it and the bed was so soft! We stayed here for our first 2 nights of our honeymoon and they’d left us a gift to celebrate with - thank you! The pool and dining was fabulous, food was good and both pool and restaurant had a great view. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately saw someone get hurt and the staff seemed to be on top of it and took great care of the guest. They had a free fire show, it was one of the most amazing resort entertainment shows I’ve seen.

Pool side umbrellas were unsafe, they blew over in the wind numerous times. Would definitely hurt someone if they fell on a person.

We really enjoyed staying at this resort! The staff were lovely especially Bob, Peter and Lucie! They were always there to help and they were just amazing! We liked that we had amazing views of the island and the pool was great! The tours that were organised by reception were great and we want to also thank James who drove us around the island and showed us the hidden gems of vanuatu!

That we couldn't swim in the beach due to government rules.. but the pool made up for it

Clean, newer property, close to town and restaurants. We walked to a number of restaurants during our stay and felt safe walking. There is a large supermarket only 5 mins walk from the hotel. Friendly staff at the hotel who made us feel welcome. The buffet breakfast has a lot of choices. We stayed in a lagoon room and it was large with a big balcony and kitchenette.

We arrived on Christmas Day and the restaurant and Bar service was terrible. But it all improved for the next 5 days of our stay. More towels are needed in the pool area later in the afternoon. Twice we had to bring our room towels to the pool area.

The hotel was as expected from a Ramada Hotel. It was clean with pool, SUP and Kayaks available. The restaurant's provided a large range of food types, all of which were delicious. The breakfast buffet was very good with a large range of cooked foods, cerials, pastries, breads/toast, fruit, egg station. The hotel is a 15/20 minute walk (a bit of a hill but nothing too difficult) or 5 minute drive into the centre of Port Vila. We walked several times and always felt very safe. We stayed in a studio room, which was spotless and large with plenty of space. The bed was very comfy, the ensuite was clean with a good shower. The kitchenette had large fridge/freezer, cooker etc. There was a large balcony for enjoying a drink. Typical good quality hotel from Ramada.

The studio rooms are situated in the main building at the top of the resort. The pool and resturant are situated at the very bottom of the resort on the lagoon. They do provide golf cart service from top to bottom and vice versa, but you sometimes wait. This wasn't an issue for us as we are pretty active but was an issue for older people or very young children.
