My room was good sized with a nice bathroom. The hotel is very well presented and has a lift to reach its many floors. The rooms are equipped with a kettle, mugs and some coffee/tea; there is a fridge that also serves as minibar at an additional cost. It’s located on a main road but close enough to both the beachfront and the golden dragon. The airport is a 20mins drive away. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance. The pool looked really good - on the top floor with views of the city.

The service is not very personable, and the window in my room was a top, small one close to the ceiling It gave good light in the morning but barely any view, if not the top of skyscrapers. Nothing major

Had already stayed for 5 nights extended stay, had to change rooms to a family with 2 double beds as no deluxe double available. The shower was cleaner than the previous room, and the beds were very comfy again.

As previous review stated, facilities didn't match what they had. The pool area needs attention, no sunloungers as per photo, no poolbar open, no gym open, many loose or missing tiles around pool and inside it. No hot tub. But with some TLC, it could be superb! Views are amazing of city especially at sunrise and evening !

Mr Hoa, the owner of Merry Land Hotel kindly allowed me to rent a motorbike without keeping my ID as a deposit like other hotels in VN. The hotel front desk receptionists Ms. Tuoi & Thu were super helpful with all my tour bookings and getting around town. For sure we would choose this convenient location again for our next trip.

This hotel doesn't serve breakfast during the low season of tourism but there were lots of restaurants and convenience stores next the this hotel.

Incredible room, really spacious with views of the pool. Great shower, again very roomy! The pools were great in the day…

Location was a bit off and not included in the description… It’s up a steep hill and away from the beach. Binge drinking is encouraged here so if that’s your thing, get your beer giggles on, if it’s not, stay well away!! The front desk add a HUGE amount to trips and busses away from the place, so walk down the hill and book to the place on your right at the bottom, I saved a small fortune!

I took a chance on this and to be honest, I didn’t expect much, but I was surprised by how nice it was for so little money! The girls on reception were lovely, always smiling and eager to help. I hire a scooter from the hotel, again really cheaply, and was surprised to find out they have their own scooters, they don’t hire them in like some other hotels do and I think this keeps the cost down.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike, I don’t know how they do it all so cheaply. The location is ideal for the beach and eateries and it’s only a cheap grab ride to get anywhere else, brilliant!

Good location between beach and town, easy acces to both of them. Lots of Restaurants, minimarts and coffee shops nearby. Big and clean room. Hot water from the shower with good pressure. Nice lobby and balcony by the street to hang out.

The pool area was not so good condition. No pool bar like in the picture and no sunbeds as well. No breakfast or restaurant like in the pictures.

Big clean room, with 2 comfy double beds. Couldn’t really fault the room for what we paid for, my partner had dengue fever so didn’t really leave the room. However the housekeeping knocked on every day to clean. Staff was helpful when I asked to stay extra night, do laundry and when we needed anything for the room

No fault of the hotels, but bare in mind what usually is a 15 minute walk to the beach, down a street road. Ends up being a bit of a detour, as they have dug up both sides of the pavement so you have to walk on the busy road

Good location, not too far from the promenade. The room was spacious with 2 large double beds. One of the beds less comfortable than the other! The bathroom was big although in need of some renovation - mould around the sink and the bath wasn’t sealed so that when you showered, the water leaked all over the floor. However, it was clean, just not the best because of the mould, although it didn’t smell. There is a fridge in the room and we were given 4 small bottles of water.

Unfortunately just the overall appearance of the bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. It was a good location to walk to the beach or food.

The floor was sticky and could do with better cleaning. The room was small and the bed was two singles with one bed sheet wrapped around both beds . This is weird. It's really a twin room with one duvet .
