We had a nice, relaxing stay at Sun River Hotel, right by the Han River. Our room had windows overlooking the Dragon Bridge, which was a beautiful sight both at night and in the mornings. Waking up to the sunlight reflecting on the river, people jogging along the banks, and small floating plants drifting by was truly refreshing. The hotel is also close to Han Market, where we enjoyed shopping and found some good bargains. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, with plenty of options to choose from, including a live counter for omelettes and the Vietnamese classic, pho bò.

The only improvement I would suggest is adding a curtain across the tub, as the water tends to spill onto the floor while bathing, which was a bit inconvenient.

Great hotel, very friendly, helpfull staff. 2 extra ordinary things. The breakfast was the ebst I had in Asia, very much different things to chage and every day changes of choice. And a special for westerners nivce thing, the bed was NOT hard. Not soft either, perfect to me. I bo0oked with riverview, very advisable since you cab view the Dragon bridge and all the lights of the boats. Location near all local restaurants and cuty centre was great to me. Beach only 10 minutes by motorbike.

Well the design is not the newest, but still well maintained.

The staff here were exceptional, from the enthusiastic Bell on the ground floor right up to the restaurant staff on the top floor. I didn't know any Vietnamese and as always, began learning on the fly - with the girl in the restaurant being patient and helpful! The view was also great through the large window (wall) looking over the river. You could also open the window to let in fresh air. I did have a meal in the restaurant the first night - was getting late - and it was delicious. The breakfast was okay (but the plates were tiny!).

Having a separate shower from the bathtub would have been nice.

Great location. Staff were excellent in organising the obligatory trip to Ba Na Hills at a moment’s notice. Breakfast was as good as I’ve had anywhere in Vietnam. Third time here, and would definitely stay again.

Roadside rooms were like walking into an oven after an hour away. While appreciated the upgrade, stepping into a spa for a shower is not much fun for an over 70 guy.

Views from the hotel were fantastic. Breakfast was great with good spread of dishes. Beds were comfortable and clean. Rooms were spacious with good wifi access. On the last day we were able to leave the luggage at the hotel for the whole day when visiting Bana Hills. That was a very helpful service.

Carpets in the hallway are still old. It didn't bother us though as we were mostly inside the room or in dining area or out and about.

Hotel location is perfect on Bach Dang st, 1 street behind hotel Is Food and shopping street. Hotel has only 7 rooms/per floors6 floors, only room#01 can sleep 4 Room 01 (floor 3 to 7), mine was 501, 90degree view of Han river and nightly light show of dragon bridge Great breakfast on fl 9 top fl of this hotel

Not much to improve for the price paid

The reception was excellent. When I arrived, I didn't have any Vietnamese money and my dollar was only $100. The receptionist cheerfully said that it didn't matter and you would pay for the room later. Even when I said that I was on tour until late tomorrow, she said that was fine. The hotel environment, location, and rooms were very, very good and very comfortable.

Location, facing the Han River. Near the Dragon Bridge, Han Market and Pink Church. Excellent, delicious breakfast ( menus are changed daily), Friendly and helpful staff.

Wifi was slow the last 2 days I was there. Otherwise, I would rate it a “10”. Tour to the Lady Buddha and Marble Mountain cost 800 VND, no lunch and I had to pay the entrance fees. Most of my tours in other cities in Vietnam are for only 500 VND, with lunch, tour guide, entrance fees and transports included.

The location was great, the room size was perfect, the breakfast assortment was plentiful, the bed was super comfy and the staff were extremely accommodating helping me get to the airport. Also, this hotel has corner rooms that have a great rounded window view of the dragon bridge. I did not stay in one of those rooms, but my friend did. It was an incredible view!

Great location to the Markets and entertainment areas of Danang, a good hotel, staff were very and friendly, the room was spacious enough for us two, however the shower in the big tub could be a hazard for some people, we were lucky enough to get a great view of the Han river.
