This is a resort in typical Vietnamese style. It is not luxurious, but the greatest appreciation goes to the staff, which is very kind and always ready to assist in everything. The rooms of the single villas are very spacious and, like the whole resort, very silent and quiet. There is a pool, while the beach (not a private one), can be very easily reached on foot, as it is at few meters distance. The beach is "normal", but very easily accessible and never crowded. Breakfast is good and gives a wide choice, even for Western tourists. The restaurant in the resort is quite good.

The resort is a bit outside of the city, but this can be seen also as an advantage, as the area is really quiet. City center can anyway be reached quite easily by taxi.

We had a wonderful vacation in here. I really enjoyed the fresh air at the resort, it has a beautiful beach, it is very clean and quite peaceful. The reception staff were very enthusiastic and supportive, providing us with a lot of useful information about the surrounding facilities, we were really warmly welcomed during our stay here. Although the hotel is in the process of upgrading, our room had a very nice view of the sea. We will definitely come back next summer.

Room was great and staff was very considerate for the needs of a family The booking system is definitely Asian put the 4 of us (2 kids 4 and 6) in one big bed, like 2m wide. It worked and is definitely local (the other time in Vietnam we stayed with our extended family and had a similar setup. But just read carefully when the list of rooms and beds comes in. In addition they had a company event at the first night which was definitely loud in the room but only up to 10pm so ok and we good warned during checking and an upgrade to the best room the farest away from the music with out asking for it

Breakfast could be better. Construction at the property during oir stay, which we were informed about after booking. Property is great, but the locatiob and Tuan Chau Island is a complete disaster adn a total failure.

There were some renovations happening during my stay, but it didn’t take away from how nice the place was. The rooms were spotless, the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, and the location was so peaceful and quiet—perfect for an off-season escape. Being so close to the sea was a huge bonus. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

A beautiful beach and very quiet location. You can walk to Marina and take a speed boat to Cat Ba island, the Kong Park with dolphins and evening shows is next door. The pool is super clean and has a nice view, the beach has a scenery of the nearby islands. Next time we will definitely take the upgraded rooms close to the beach and pool.

Amazing was the big room, bathroom. The Breakfast Buffet was nice and big. The pool was very nice and clean. A huge Thank you to the employees, the jung man at the reception was very helpful. - Thank you!

Right after check-in in the room: A very strong smell of citronella, probably for the Moskitos or Toilette. However we left the windows open, to clear the air for a few hours, since breathing was harder.

Lovely big room right on the beach, all staff very helpful, clean and comfy bed, just what we needed and close to the terminal so catching your bay cruise super easy

Not much going on around us, no restaurant open at the hotel, 2 bars open on the beach and a couple of restaurants by the terminal that also sold snacks drinks ect. Taxi ride into town

The pool area was really good and it being next to the beach was nice. The service if the staff was really good as they helped us book our inward travel and let us use the pool after checking out

We didn’t realise we were so far away from the main facilities, however they would pick us up and drop us back so we didn’t have to walk back up the hill to our room

Even though some areas were under renovation, Tuan Chau Resort Ha Long was a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, and the staff was helpful and polite. It's a quiet area, especially off-season, and very close to the sea. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.
