This is our second visit. We were very excited to return and I have to say, from the very first moment to the last, after a 5 night stay we could not fault the effort & class of all staff, food & location!

You would have to be a hard task master to write anything in this box.

The property was beautiful, had the best views and had access to private beach. The food was excellent, the amenities were great, check in was smooth. The decorations for Christmas was also beautiful

The staff is quite annoying regarding payment of food ordered as room service. They kept asking to pay all the time. I once had to pay at mid night because my mother ordered dinner. We told them that we will pay it altogether during checkout but they kept insisting on paying now. Also, they didn’t allow bringing anything from outside. We bought some sweets and souvenirs, but they said no out side food ordered drinks allowed.

We had an exceptional stay at Vinpearl Hotel and Spa. The room was fantastic and came with excellent amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pools and facilities were superb. The kids' playroom was wonderful, and getting to and from the island was incredibly easy. The views from the rooms and the hotel towards the floating islands were breathtaking. The building itself was stunning, and we enjoyed exploring the island. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the room service was equally impressive.

On our first night, we had some trouble finding an open restaurant, partly because the staff had limited English proficiency. However, we returned to our room and found the room service to be excellent. Also despite the sheets and duvet covers were very clean and soft, they did have some tears, which was disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at Vinpearl Resort & Spa Halong Long for our anniversary. Our room has the best ocean view. Staff are professional , friendly and very helpful. Room is nice and clean and amenities are replenished every day. Bed is very comfortable. Foods are nice in breakfast restaurant and buffet restaurant. The spa and sauna are very good. Will come back to Vinpearl for our holiday next time in Halong. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable time.

I’d like to suggest if the resort can offers with some pillows choices for guests to choose from soft to firm that’ll be great. Overall everything is excellent.

For such a big place, the gym was extremely small, there was only enough equipment for o e person There is not much variety of food, only 3 restaurants with the same meals every day There was only one restaurant open for lunch, no other snacks on the resort. Can't bring snacks in from the mainland. It gets confiscated. The language barrier is really difficult as most of the staff don't speak English. The ones that do like to interact.

Location. Staff. Service. View. Room size and quality. Food. Just a superb hotel. Was truly grateful. Thank you!

Shower needs a really good renovation. There were certain areas, such as the elevators the cleaning machine doesn’t clean leaving a semicircular dirt line. We came at Lunar New Year and it wasn’t notified which restaurant would be open in advance. This meant we only ate one night in The Pavilion which was one of the best meals we had all holiday with great Vietnamese/Western mix. The coffee machine was useless, but now replaced as I understand.

The property was incredible. Very beautiful and amazing facilities. Both pools were great size. Great pool bar. The staff were amazing and really went out of their way to look after us and make us feel special. I had my birthday there and Christoph and his staff made this occasion so special. The rooms were great size, very modern, comfy beds. bathrooms very modern, lovely showers. balcony’s lovely to sit on and look out at the harbour. The water taxis left every 20 minutes though this was great as the waiting areas on both sides were lovely. The Buffett breakfast had a wide range of delicious foods. If we go back to ha Long Bay, I would only stay here.

An unique hotel in an somewhat unique location (private island) which makes a (free) boat transfer necessary. Very nice property with excellent pool area. Breakfast with stunning views to HaLong Bay and nice choices. Rooms large and comfy. Staff most of the time very friendly.

For 5* stars, a bit inconsistent. Some staff members speak great English, some not. Some are very friendly, some not. Most of the time clean rooms, but spots in the bathroom and at outside areas. Some parts of the hotel (stairs, walls) start to look dated already. Buffett dinner not recommended. Feels like a better canteen. The other restaurant is very expensive. Overall, the hotel rooms are very expensive for HaLong. Boat transfer ends at an uninviting area, walking to more downtown areas feels not safe.

I absolutely loved this hotel! It was everything a hotel should be and great value for money. My room had ocean view overlooking Halong Bay. It was fantastic although the weather was quite gloomy. Not sure if it was pollution or just cloudy. The room was quiet. I had the most comfortable bed with the best pillows I have ever had in a hotel (and I travel a lot). I loved the HOT shower too and that the room also had a bathtub. My phone did not charge so I was using an outlet downstairs. One of the staff noticed and sent a charger up to my room without me having to ask. A very nice gesture. Everything was clearly marked. The indoor swimming pool was luxury and about 28m long! Both the women and men's dressing rooms near the swimming pool have their own private jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for free use! I also had a spa treatment which was also amazing! The breakfast options were fabulous with a wide variety for all tastes and cultures. I ate a hamburger at one of the restaurants. Although the beef was good, the bacon was hard and full of fat which I had to take out. Otherwise, overall good quality of food. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The speedboats run every 20 minutes (takes 3-5 min) 24 hours which is fantastic! Would definitely come back in a heartbeat! There is a massive cleanup for the plastic pollution in the water at Halong Bay. I was pleasantly surprised to have only seen 3 pieces of trash floating next to the shore. This was something I was very worried about. I stayed at the hotel and went for a day trip cruise and that was perfect!

A few thoughts to consider: The water bottles are located in the bathroom- so almost missed them! Better to put them in the sleeping area next to the information sheets and menu. Housekeeping should check the shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles to make sure they are working properly. The conditioner was not coming out and I asked for it to be refilled. It was, but it still did not come out.. Upon further inspection, the tube inside was blocked so once cleaned out, it worked perfectly! It is absolutely fine to ask guests to write a review. However, when one is asked to write a good review or rate the hotel as a 10, this leaves a very bad taste. This is an honest review, but something to be cautious of when guests are checking out.

Impressive resort with the Great Gatsby era decor. Spacious clean rooms, and great laundry service! They had a promotion, fill the bag for 350,000.00, with two kids it was a bargain. Large outdoor pools and 3 private beaches. Unfortunately the weather was 27 degrees the outdoor pool and beach was too cold to swim. Lucky the indoor pool was a hit for the two nights. Breakfast and in-room dining was tasty. Didn’t get a chance to know staff as they were reserve, staff are polite, always a smile. If you don’t want the hustle and bustle this is the place to be to unwind.

Showers need to be deep clean. Sheet bedding looked tired.
