The room was good with a comfortable bed, A/C, and overall good value for the price. Very clean and convenient location in Old Quarter. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. Everyone spoke at least some English so very little trouble communicating if you don't speak Vietnamese.

There was construction going on just outside my window. Not the hotel's fault, but it will be a little noisy (the noise stopped by about 11 pm) and unsightly until the construction is done.

We stayed in a large room on the 16th floor with great views over the city and overlooking the train station. We stayed for 6hrs after getting back from our 2 night Halong Bay Cruise and getting on the 10pm night train to Sapa. It was perfectly located for us across the road from the train station and close enough to nice restaurants for dinner. The other bonus was that the self service washing machines / dryers meant that we had time to do laundry which we wouldn’t have had time for at Paris Laundry who were excellent and we had used prior. We didn’t sleep here but used the room to shower and repack ready for the night train. The room size was huge and we regret not staying here for our time in Hanoi before this. The hotel is simple, clean and modern. It had great facilities for what we required for our short stay, so fantastic value for money in my opinion. The staff were also all really lovely. SOJO made our transition from Halong to Sapa so much easier and more comfortable while travelling with your children which is a challenge in itself!

A very up to date and comfortable room, and a good bathroom too, with an excellent shower and quality bath products provided. I stayed for two nights and slept really well each night. Barring the light switches (see comment in next section), the rooms are really well thought out.

It would've helped if a kettle and tea / coffee supplies were provided in the room. The light switches - contemporary as they were - were not the most intuitively designed. The staff at reception were helpful enough but struggled a bit with their communication, I thought.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but the food they had out looked good. We did have snacks at the hotel resto and it was very good. The room was comfortable but smaller than I expected. The view of the train station was excellent. We enjoyed watching arrivals and departures. Despite its proximity (across the street) we never heard the trains.

The room does not have a hot water kettle nor coffee/tea packets. Its the first time that I've been to a hotel without those small amenities.

We arrived at Hanoi Airport and had ordered a taxi via booking.com to go to the Hotel. It was a 30 minute ride and it cost us just £13.50, which got us off to a good start. The reason we choose the Sojo Hotel was that it was opposite the main Hanoi Train Station, which we needed to get to for the next leg of our journey to Hue. The Sojo Hotel was wonderful, the staff were great, and our room had everything you wanted plus a huge comfortable bed. Its location was also good with many of the sights of Hanoi in walking distance Would highly recommended it.

Loved the style of the hotel, as well as location and value for money. And of course the staff were very friendly - my parents are vegetarian and they made sure they prepared something special for them to have at breakfast. You can use their kitchen anytime to make your own food if you wish. Which was nice when I wanted a snack late at night. They also werent fussy about giving us stuff like kettles or a spare luggage rack to the room. Good facilities too like a (slightly small) gym and laundry, more than adequate for a holiday. Mostly again the main selling point is the lovely staff. Most of Vietnam has lovely people and this hotel is no exception. Before I forget the hotel is also within walking distance of several sights in Hanoi.

Super friendly people at the hotel. Perfectly clean room. Nice breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect for short trips by feet. The best thing is the breathtaking view from the higher floor's.

There's nothing to say....

Great location with a comfortable bed and room. I enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. I stayed at a few other hotels in Hanoi while travelling and Sojo was by far the best. Especially the bed; most other hotels I have stayed in while visiting had very hard mattresses.

There is some minor noise from traffic in the evening and early morning, but it is quiet during sleeping hours which I appreciate. Considering how noisy Hanoi is in general, it would be almost impossible to find a hotel where you would not hear the traffic.

I wanted to try the kiosk and was disappointed staff would jump in and over service - I specially asked to use kiosk - I tried pre checkin from the app and it couldn’t work as I am an international traveler - also it would be good if the app could have an English option - I selected Sojo to try the technology but was disappointed I couldn’t

What the room lacked in facilities (no cupboards) the staff made it up with their services and positive attitude.
