Very close to Hanoi railway station, barely a five minute walk. A busy hotel; lots of tour groups in and out all day long, so obviously a long standing decent reputation. Comfy, clean room with enormous bed, reasonable storage for clothes and a good bathroom. In a city as vast as Hanoi, the first time visitor has no idea about how good the location is but we were assured by family who live there that we’d picked a good spot. More a hotel for a short transit stop than a long stay, but none the worse for that. I’d use it again.

I booked a car to the airport from the reception desk and was shocked to discover that the price charged was about three times the going rate. Should have known better and used Booking.com app or local Grab app.

Out of all the hotels we stayed in Hanoi, this was the cleanest with no ants. It had the best natural lighting coming through the windows and two full length mirrors. Room was very clean, and nice toiletries. Appreciate there was a bathtub for baths. A bit out of the way edge of old quarter but minutes away from Train Street.

When we missed the room service early morning (8-9) we had to request the room to be made up when we came back from 2pm. The sink is close to the shaving sockets wouldn’t dare use the hairdryer there. Cramped and no space to place clothes.

I liked that the property was on the outskirts of the Old Quarter away from the noise. It was close but not too close. The location was better imo. Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The room was fine, the size was fine, it had a window but there was no view contrary to expectation. Overall, the property was small compared to others at the same 4 star level.

Front staff was friendly and could converse well in English. Location very near to railway attractions, local market, railway station, 45min drive to airport (depends on traffic)

I have to leave early, so had to have breakfast right after 6am, the egg and noodle station is mostly unmanned, you have to wait for the cook to come around (probably busy in kitchen)

Excelent staff, great English speakers, the hotel is everything we expect in a Mercure property. The location is excelent, in the old town but with very little noise. I stayed in local properties in the Old Town and there was no comparison.

Actually all my necessities were met, I believe they could give more information on tours and attractions opening hours.

Large, modern hotel, located centrally for easy access by Grab to most sites. It's a short walk to the station, there are several restaurants on the streets around. 5 minute ride to the Lake and the Old Quarter Spotlessly clean room, huge king bed and bulk amenities, shampoo etc (which is good!). The rooms have double or triple glazing and are super quiet, despite the noisy traffic below. Staff were all super helpful and polite Buffet breakfast includes eggs and or pho to order and a good range of other items. The evening selections in the restaurant are mixed in quality but the viet dishes were better. Avoid the pizza! It's a quality tourist hotel, medium sized, with all requirements for foreign travellers

Nothing really

The hotel is so comfortable and clean. Location is 1km from the center and Old Quarter which is still manageable to walk. The staff were so polite and helpful. Smooth check in and check out. Special thanks to Ms. Ngoc who assisted me with my bus booking, you are a star!!

This place felt like an oasis in the desert after the first hotel we booked (an left immediately) in Hanoi. It is nearby all attractions, very clean and tidy. Staff is helpful, engaging and friendly. Breakfast is simple and tasteful, although the cheese selection could be improved. Overall we had a really nice experience. 100% Recommended!

Walking distance from the lake and conveniently located to few attractions.

Small rooms. No space for nags or to unpack bags or store clothes. Design as if you won't spend more than one night. Staff with limited English communication skills.

We chose this hotel for its location as it’s very close to the train station and we had an early start one morning! It is also the perfect location for the old quarter .. everything you want to see and do is in walking distance from the hotel. The room was excellent, a comfy bed and all we needed for our stay.
