I booked this room 2 months in advance at a great rate, it was great value for money considering the central location and especially how clean the room was. Check in was smooth and efficient, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room, bed, towels were extra clean, no dust anywhere. I liked the unique style of the hotel, it’s a refurbished old building. I was in the 5th floor so there was some noise in the morning as it is closer to the breakfast area, this was not a problem for me…during my second stay I was on the 2nd floor at the end of the corridor and it was really quiet. The window gives on the corridor, there is fresh air, since the room is at the back of the building I did not hear any of the street noise which was ideal. Breakfast is served on the top floor, there is a big terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view. A buffet is served with a good selection of fruits and Asian style cooked food, you can also order either eggs or Pho. Adding more vegetarian options would be nice, otherwise this was a super breakfast. The location of the hotel is central, it was ideal for my first nights in Vietnam, walking distance to the train station, 15 min walk to the old town. The place is very safe. Out of 3 hotels I tried in Hanoi, this was by far the best.

The staff here were incredible. I got a bout of vertigo which meant I was unable to leave when I was meant to. The staff and Mr. Long were amazing! They helped me book an extra night, got me some food, made sure I had water, and were even willing to call a doctor in. As a solo traveler suddenly getting the spins, having the staff step in and help out really made me feel safe and comfortable. Their moto is true... It is like a home in Hanoi. Additionally, for those that hate the hard bed situation in Asia, the beds here were not that :) the bed was very comfortable, not hard at all. Anyway a great place to stay!

Great hotel, clean, good location and friendly staff. Fresh towels, bottles of water and tea and coffee left in the room daily. Nice touch they provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, earbuds and even a razor in the bathroom. Good breakfast with lots of options and again very lovely attentive staff. Convenience store right next door. 5 minute walk to train street. You can also book day trips to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, Sapa and Cat Ba which pick you up from the hotel, with other tours on Get Your Guide you need to be picked up in the old quarter which is a 15 minute walk from the hotel, so there are other options but I liked the ease of being picked up and dropped off at the hotel. I did the day trip to Ha Long Bay which was beautiful, although very busy with all the attractions. I went on a Thursday and apparently the weekends are even busier, so maybe a 1 or 2 over night stay cruise if you have time would give a relaxed experience, but still a worthwhile trip for one day. Kevin at the travel desk was very helpful to book the trip with and also let me use his phone to contact Vietnam Airlines when my flight was rescheduled last minute on the day of check out. A very pleasant stay!

The rooms were really nice and the bed was more comfortable than I initially thought as it’s firmer than I normally like but I slept like a baby! Really good location and super accessible to lots of great restaurants and things to do, really close to train street! The staff were lovely and always said hello to you. We enjoyed the included breakfast also!

The WiFi could be quite unreliable but this wasn’t a big issue for us as we had mobile data! If you don’t have mobile data maybe the WiFi in the reception area is better!

My stay was generally good. The stuff is attentive and nice, they helped with all the questions. I am really grateful 😌 Breakfast was good too, they serve different kinds of eggs, noodles, rice, great variety of fruit, pancakes, coffee, tea and juice. The location was comfortable, you can find places to eat nearby, it’s also ~15 min from the lake and train street is also close. The sound isolation isn’t that good so if you have sensible sleep, it may be an issue for you.

The location of this property is perfect for exploring the city. Most things are within walking distance or short car ride. The breakfast was simple but more than enough for us. We were there on the off season, so the place was fairly quiet and breakfast downsized a little

Very noisy from traffic and light from traffic lights. We were there one night when the Vietnamese football team won a cup and wow they partied till 2am blowing horns and tooting. We had a driver organised for us to take us to our next destination in Da Nang. A very rude and angry man. Unpleasant experience

The room and bathroom were cleaned thoroughly, I was very impressed. I booked the room that has an internal window with a view on the corridor, it was perfect for me as I could get fresh air, at the same time I was away from the outside noise. The location of the hotel is very convenient, 5 min walk to the train station, 15 min walk to the old quarter. The staff are welcoming and very nice.

It would be nice to have more vegetarian options for breakfast.

Good location, very close to main train station and 8 minute walk to train street. It was a 15/20 minute walk to Bio Hoi. Breakfast was a mix of Vietnamese dishes, fruits, toast, fried bacon with sausage slices. Omelette, fried and scrambled eggs were made to order. Reception staff helpful and tours can be booked at reception.

The window of the room looked onto an internal shaft, so there was no natural light and the room felt stuffy. You could hear the staff preparing the breakfast room from 6am due to the internal shaft. Bed was hard.

The hotel is located close to the old town, so it is convenient to explore the city. The breakfast is great. However, the most important is the friendly and extremely helpful staff, in particular, Owen was very efficient and took care of us. Initially, we had a minor issue with the room and we were offered a different room immediately upon our request.

This is very common in Vietnam that most hotel rooms do not have a window. Our room had an internal window, but, of course, it did not provide natural light and we could keep it open. This was indicated when booking and I believe there are rooms with proper windows in this hotel to choose.

The room was super clean, price very affordable, breakfast fabulous and the personnel, especially Mr Kevin the owner and the very kind Mrs Ellie at the reception, super friendly and helpful!! They welcomed me and other travelers in a warm and friendly way, so we felt right at the beginning that the clients and their needs are important to them. They helped without hesitation the best way they could. That was very apreciated! I liked my stay there very much and will definitely recommend it to other travelers!! Thank you for making my stay memorable!
