This is a very nice and well maintained property. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The welcome drinks and the check in process was great. I forgot the name of the girl in the reception, she helped us even booking a private cab, when we had issue booking it through Grab. She is working there for just around 2 months and was working with Huong Vu. They both were helpful. We had complimentary breakfast, which was really good.

The soundproofing of the main door as well the rooms in general could be better. I had noise coming through the door on the 4th night of our stay. A noisy neighbor had late night visitors after 1 in the night and they kept banging the door and making noise on the balcony. I had to call the reception and complain about the noisy guests. The reception was very quick to help though.

The hotel was elegant and charming. The breakfast was super and I had room service one evening and it was one of the best club sandwiches I have had. However above all else the staff were amazing. So helpful, professional and friendly and they remembered your name and asked how my excursions were and were always very smartly dressed. I cannot express enough what a credit they are to the hotel. They really care about their guests and it shows. My stay was wonderful and I thank them all. Kind regards Jane Helms

Absolutely nothing

Customer service here is fantastic from the moment we checked in till we checked out. The female manager at the restaurant was outstanding and offered personalised information, not just on the property but Hanoi as a whole. We brought a lot of souvenirs, food and coffee based on her recommendations and plus the knowledge of the restaurant was perfect for our taste. The same manager knew we were checking out and offered a late check out to cater for our needs, this was above and beyond our expectations.

The breakfast was picture perfect, however the taste of the standard items were lacking and generally odd. The plain congee only had olives and picked vegetables as the condiments.

La Sinfonía Citadel Hotel & Spa is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The location is perfect-just a short walk from the famous Train Street-making it super convenient for first-time visitors. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated with an elegant atmosphere and luxurious touches throughout. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of the staff was kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. We were welcomed with a lovely page of gift vouchers for the spa, restaurant, and rooftop bar-such a thoughtful and exclusive touch! The deluxe breakfast was a highlight-plentiful, fresh, and beautifully presented. A special thank you to Trinh, who went above and beyond. She is incredibly sweet, caring, and knowledgeable-she shared everything we needed to know for our first visit and made us feel completely at home. It was a huge pleasure staying at La Sinfonía Citadel Hotel & Spa. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for comfort, style, and outstanding hospitality in the heart of Hanoi.

First, location is great if you want to explore local food and the famous train street in Hanoi. The street is basically 3 minutes walking, making it so convenient to see the train passing. Second, check in was smooth and quick. We got clear informative instructions from the staff and everything was well appreciated. As we were a new couple and wanted to enjoy our first trip together, the hotel upgraded us upon knowing this information. The room was very clean, quiet, and well-ventilated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing ensured a peaceful sleep, despite being close to the Sky Bar. Breakfast was delicious, though a bit more variety would be nice. We tried wine and cocktails at the sky bar and those were well made as well. For us it was a perfect stay and perfect place to create long lasting memories. Thank you to everyone here, especially to Hue that took so good care of us during our stay. She did go the extra mile to make sure everything and everyone is happy. We will book again for sure.

Nothing to complain.

We had a wonderful stay at La Sinfonia. The hotel is new and beautifully designed. The room was spacious and had all the things we needed. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food. We spent multiple evenings at the rooftop bar drinking cocktails. Although they are a bit pricey, they are well worth the cost. The bartenders there were also very friendly. We had a very nice chat with them at the bar. Their spa is also highly recommended. We got a full body massage by Thuy and Anh and they were both incredible! Lastly, all the staff in the hotel were great! They were always there when we needed anything and everyone was very kind and friendly. If I come back to Hanoi I will definitely stay here again!

There was a bit of a strange smell in the bathroom throughout our stay, although that didn't really bother us.

We stayed at the hotel for only 1 night. The staff was very professional and polite, you feel like a special guest. The room and the restaurant were well decorated, the beds were large and comfortable, the bed linen and towels were clean and snow-white. The location was good for us - 10-15 minutes walk along the main street from the Lake. We were given a discount on visiting the restaurant for dinner and the SPA, but we did not have the opportunity to use them due to lack of time. The breakfast was quite varied. When we had check-out they, give to us very cute keychains as a souvenir, which was very nice..... If I have to visit Hanoi again, I will definitely consider this hotel for accommodation.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was not excellent, although still good....

Beautiful art deco style rooms, clean, spacious especially the shower with good pressure and hot water. Loved the attention to details in the room like fresh flowers and fresh fruits. Well located, close to the old quarter, right next to the train street, with plenty of choices of restaurants and convenience store. Despite being next to a busy street, our room was super quiet and we slept like babies. Didn’t have time to try the spa unfortunately but it looked very high end and professional. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. We were treated like in a 5 star hotel by Mr. Nguyen The Minh. He remembered details of our onward itinerary, spoke perfect English, gave us great recommendations, and even gave us a little souvenir before we left. We cannot thank him enough for his hospitality and his courtesy that made our stay memorable. We would definitely recommend this place. Keep up the great work.

The continental side of the breakfast could be improved. The Vietnamese side was tasty and fresh though, with new items daily.

This is a small boutique hotel, but beautifulyl run and in a great location. The rooms were quite small but well laid out with a great art-deco style and a nice en-suite bathrooms with a really deep tub and over head shower. Shampoo, conditioner etc all provided. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of different choices, both continental and Asian and a chef making eggs whichever way you want them. The restaurant was on the top floor with a great view looking out over the busy streets below. The spa was small but well done and we both had a really good massage. The hotel is in a great spot, easy to walk everywhere. The staff could not have been more helpful. They were wonderful with lots of great local recommendations. We loved our stay. Thankyou

We were very happy at the Sinfonia and would definitely recommend it.

We especially loved how friendly and helpful the staff were during our both stays. They offered to help with transportation and helped us confirm when we weren't sure that our reservations were through. We were constantly checked on to see if everything works well, if we could sleep properly (especially that we had the first night amid street celebrations of Vietnam winning the ASEAN cup), and we were assisted with a warm smile and kind words along the way. Special thanks to Nam and Hue, whom we met daily during our stay and they made sure we had a smooth holiday. Nonetheless, the spa area was very relaxing and the ladies who handled our treatments were very skilled and kind, and made sure we were comfortable and relaxed, so we made the most out of the experience. We would totally recommend using their services.

The windows of the rooms were facing an inner (very small) yard so there was not much to see, and we had to use the air conditioning for refreshing the air. However, considering that we didn't spend much time in the hotel room, that wasn't really an issue.
