Apartment had all the amenities you needed, nicely furnished, comfortable beds and pillows. It was walking distance to everything. We had a view of the lake and swimming pool and gardens. It had a restaurant that was open for lunches and dinner, excellent food. It had a beautiful, well equipped gym and very clean. You could walk out the gate past the pool and walk on the sidewalk along the lake. All kinds of lovely little coffee shops along the way.

The pool wasn’t heated and the water was ice cold. It was unfortunate that we could look at it every day from our living room but couldn’t use.

It is a great place to stay. Very Nice apartments. They have very friendly personnel. It is very clean. It’s got a lovely pool and fitness center and good food in the Japanese restaurant that also serves breakfast and does the room service. There’s a supermarket just across the road in general gonna be much better

You can’t really walk anywhere, but then again grab taxi doesn’t cost anything and it’s easily ordered on the Grab app

- They have one of the best location in Hanoi. - Gorgeous lake view. - Quite room. The room also brings the 90s vibe. - Nice, polite & professional staff. - The Japanese restaurant was great.

- Some facilities are too old. Need to replace, especially the toilet goods. - TV should be upgraded as well. Not just the screen was too old, they're using the weird type of TV cable with not so many watchable channels. An appropriate TV box could be a temporary solution. - Not really enough kitchen equipment for you to do the cooking stuff. But I believe not so many ppl would cook here.

The lake view from room 388 was great, and the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The downstairs restaurant was very good. We had an issue with the AC not working in the lounge, and after the first repair failed the Hotel Manager, Freddie, stepped in. He really understands what exceptional customer service is, got the issues fixed, and followed up to make sure everything else in our stay was perfect.

The rooms were very spacious, neat and clean. Overall facilities in the apartment were limited but hassle free. The pool and gym are well maintained. Location next to the lake which was our preferred preference gave access to coffee houses nearby. Good restaurants within 10mts taxi ride. Food delivery to the hotel through grab was very convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful from reception to cleaner and technicians.

The balcony terrace require maintenance and the wood work has started seeing deterioration, need some work soon to prevent injury to foot. Rest all pretty good

West Lake 254D Hotel & Residence is a winner. The ambiance is inviting, the amenities are on point, and the location is just what I needed. It's a solid choice for a comfortable and convenient stay

While West Lake 254D Hotel & Residence meets expectations, there aren't many drawbacks to mention. It's a decent place with little to complain about.

The staff were really friendly and helpful!! They were kind enough to recommend good local food around the area and helped to receive our grab food delivery when we came back later than expected. Check in and out was very smooth and the staff were very welcoming. The living area was adequately spacious with a dining table, a nice kitchen counter to land groceries and prepare food, plus a sofa area. The kitchen is well stocked with enough plates, bowls and cutleries for us to have meals in. In the day the view is lovely. Honestly, the negatives are negligible, would stay again. :) Old Quarter is good if you want to be closer to the famous places to eat at and see. But I would recommend staying here if you want a quieter neighbourhood that is a reasonable distance from good food and some sights.

The bedroom window only looked out to the corridor so it felt a little gloomy. We only stayed 1 night but can imagine it feels a bit closed in for longer stays. Wish the sofa was perpendicular to the balcony so we could capitalize the view because the balcony wasn't large enough to have seating.

Cold pool, smelly gym (most likely due to moisture), restaurant didn't offer much and was expensive, limited key cards provided, shower kept getting floor wet

The staff is very cordial. Especially Mr. Brian - who helped me in all matters. He went out of the way to see that I was made comfortable.

The property looks old and a bit upgrade could be good. There is only Japanese breakfast. I am vegan, could not eat anything atall.

It's very close to the lake which is a very nice lace to walk around

I wish I got the room with bigger door/window for a fuller view of the lake
