Location, coffee espresso

Lobby boy touched my belly and asked: beer? I drink much beer? 20 in the evening?

The location was the best. Literally close to the main square at HCMC. Also close to a clothing market and food market. A lot of good food options nearby and right opposite circle k which is so helpful in the middle of night. Bed was fine and room was big. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of selections.

Air conditioner made me ill. I think it needed some recleaning. Bathroom was a bit old so things were rusty.

Room is kept very clean, they will ensure that it’s left almost spotless each day. Water is also refilled daily during the cleanup. Staff was very pleasant throughout whole time, they had no issues with leaving the bags at the reception after check out. Location is just perfect, especially if you plan to book some journeys to Mekong delta or others, as they will usually be able to pick you at the hotel in the morning and then leave you at the nearby market in the afternoon.

Breakfast could do with better selection, especially for international food, but we never left hungry.

Close to the centre of town

Booked 9 days in this hotel. Easy access to most of the tourist spots in HCM like Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square, Notre Dame Cathedral, Food street, etc. Lots of restaurants and cafes around the area. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Daily breakfast options were basically same everyday, but they try to change 1-2 options. Not complaining though! Affordable and good place to stay if you’re mostly out doing tours and enjoying the busy and vibrant HCM. Thanks for all the lovely staff including the cleaners! You are all appreciated. staff: everyone was very helpful and nice , they do the possible and sometimes the impossible to make your accommodation good, rooms are nice , a little bit older , but clean and comfortable , I have been on 9th floor with balcony and the view was wonderful, you can see 2 pics. Breakfast was good with a lot of choose, maybe too much asian food , and few western food , just some ham and of course home made jam, but it is my opinion. You can enjoy the bar during the day , with beer or coffee or espresso, and the prices are affordable, they also have a good laundry service. Position if 15 min walk from the bui vien street, and 15 min walk from the Japan district, and you have the most important monuments to see all around the hotel, so you can just walk.

the rooms are ok , the only problem is if you have a balcony ,you will have a beautiful view, but unlucky also on 9th floor you will wake up at 7 o clock , cos the noise, coming from street, I suggest to them just to change the windows, one more ,they should clean all the table during the breakfast, just take off the crumbs could be enough :) and please do not cut the boiled eggs cos they change color in a bad way.

Love the convenient location, as what many reviewers have pointed out. There's a convenience store across the street and Ben Thanh Market is just a few minutes walk away. Other attractions in District 1, such as Independence Palace, Nguyen Hue Walking Street and Saigon Centre, are within walking distance as well. It's also easy to get a GrabCar; I only had to wait around 3 minutes. Service was also very good; the staff were very friendly and helpful. There's also a good spread for breakfast, with local food, bread and fruits available.

There's no soundproofing, so I could hear noise from other rooms and the lift. Perhaps due to the location, I could also hear noise from the road and people singing (the hotel is located next to a music lounge, which took me by surprise when I first arrived at the hotel). The aircon also takes a while to cool the room.

I love the central location and delicious breakfasts. All staff were super friendly and helpful.

There is only one lift and the hotel has 10 floors. Waiting time for the lift was loooong.

The breakfast had a great assortment of foods, especially the delicious noodle soup. There was plenty of room in the dining area to accommodate all guests. The one disappointment was the coffee, it was never really hot even though it was on a burner plate. The staff was great. The small dining cafe in the lobby was a true gem & the staff there was so friendly!

I prefer a walk in shower & didn’t realize it was a bathtub shower. Also the AC turned off every time you took the key out when you left the room so upon returning, it was very warm. Our room was on the 10th floor & it was still very loud at times.
