The staff were very polite and helpful. The roof top pool, which had a bar, steam room, toilet and shower up there. The offer free afternoon tea to all guests with some entertainment with it. Location was great, where our room was you didn't hear any of the ground noise.

I guess it's a personal preference but I didn't like the shower in bath set up but nothing else other than that.

Silverland Yen is a very friendly hotel and the location is perfect only five minutes walk to the large market. The staff will do everything to make your stay memorable. The great surplus is a the roof bar with a pool and here you will meet the charming bartender Quoc He makes great cocktails and during happy hours you will get two for price of one. Quoc makes every evening memorable and he sees every guest as someone very special. We are so greatful we met him!

As a general note: feather pillows are gone in most hotels, presumably because of allergic reactions ( are all humans allergic by now??) And they have been replaced with bulky plastic pillows ( very uncomfortable) - thetefore it would be great to have a choice of bulky and flat ones. Thanks for considering!

This is a great location - close to quarter 3/10 where all the eel Vietnam happens. Lovely helpful staff and good value. The little pool with the view is an excellent way to cool off.

We had a room with twin beds and the room was alittle small and I don’t love showers in bath tubs- about dangerous.

What an experience to stay at SILVERLAND Yến. From the moment Otis greeted us on our arrival to our final day, 6 days later. Breakfast provided with both Vietnamese and western options plus afternoon tea which is also savory and sweet. The afternoon tea was a great reprieve from the city heat. Deluxe double room minimalist with views over the city and large window which could open. Massive king size bed. Upstairs bar pool area great vibes and drinks/ happy hour options..Pool is waist deep- more like a large spa but still great to cool of in! Location in tree-lined street next to Independence Palace, 2 blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Ben Thanh market. As our flight was late at night they offered a late check-out at 14:00hrs and use of pool and afternoon tea.

Staff is one of the most cordial crew you can ever encounter in this world. The warm welcome with a drink is a nice touch. The rooftop pool with an exclusive bar will defo be in my mind for a long time, helping to chill in the middle of the town. Afternoon tea is such a great and surprisingly nice activity to add for guests. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I do recommend stay here.

Minor one: although everything is super clean in the room and well taken care of, it’s visible the age of things (bed, desks and wall painting), as well as the shower. Comfort wise it caters for, but pictures give the impression that this is a brand new place, which isn’t.

The staff were so friendly. Very accommodating and helpful. A credit to the hotel, every single one of them. Well done.

Minor detail, pool size, VERY small and could be awkward moments just bathing and only 8 sunbeds, which is probably the maximum that the terrace could hold. We weren't there for sunbathing, so it wasn't much of an issue.

**Silverland Yen Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City – 5 Stars** We had an excellent stay at Silverland Yen. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made everything easy from the moment we arrived. We booked a suite and were blown away—photos online don’t do it justice. The rooms are huge, with a separate lounge area that made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. It was the perfect base for our first visit to HCMC. The afternoon tea was also a nice touch—relaxed, well presented, and a great way to wind down after a busy day out. Highly recommend this hotel for comfort, service and value. -

The Silverland Yen Hotel staff are the friendliest, most helpful and welcoming of any hotel staff I have encountered in my time living and travelling overseas. Minnie, Luan, Phat, Tuyen, Nghi assisted us greatly when we needed advice, and helped us sort out a troubling banking issue. Above all, they made us feel special. The hotel itself is in a quiet side street, just off the busiest, liveliest parts of town; it is easy to walk to most (if not all!) the best tourist locations from here, and you can have a quiet sleep at night. I can’t recommend Silverland Yen Hotel enough; this is my second time here, and I look forward to coming again with my whole family. If you want to experience Vietnamese soul and spirit, with staff who love their work, come here!!

Personally, nothing disappointed me. I always use the stairs to go to my room when staying here, and also to the top floor pool area (I use stairs to stay fit), but the fact that there is only one lift (elevator) servicing the rooms may be an issue for some. There may be a little wait for the lift to come, and if you are in a hurry the delay may be a little annoying. As I said, however, for me this is not an issue.

The hotel has is located in the heart of District 1 and has a very helpful staff. They offered afternoon tea. Breakfast and happy hour at the pool were available for a fee.

The rooms were a bit dated and not as well kept. Found many stains throughout the room and loose long hairs (that we don't have) on the sofa and bedding. Bathroom drains did not work well. There is only one elevator and so there is almost always a wait to ascend or descend from the lobby.
