The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful. The hotel is in a great central location in Ho Chi Minh City. Breakfast was quite adequate for our needs and set us up for a good day.

The only complaint I have is this selfish idiot who was smoking in his room and set off the fire alarm at 3am - everyone had to leave the hotel because of this selfish moron (guest)

Breakfast was okay, but not great. One day coffee was stone cold and at times some food was cold. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to many sight seeing attractions. Clean and comfortable accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay at Jovia, however sadly our stay ended in a disappointing way. Upon checkout we were told that our room needed to be checked, reason being “in case” we left something behind. We were then told that there were some yellow stains on the doona cover and questioned intensely about them. We had no idea how/why/what they were and the manager was called to inspect the room to see if we had to pay “extra” to wash the sheets. A disappointing way to end a very pleasant stay.

We had some questions even before our checkin day, and the staff were very helpful and responsive. The room was well lit, spacious, clean. Great location, delicious breakfast and fast internet as well. Initially, we found some dirt on the sheets. We just told the frontdesk, and they changed it for us. Staff were courteous. The building looks new, not bad at all. We were not expecting such a good accommodation for the price we paid. They exceeded our expectations. Keep up the good work. We will recommend it and we will stay again.

Can hear a bit of the next door guests when they are loud. Generally ok.

The location of the hotel is good. Breakfast was good. The room was spacious enough! The swimming pool on the 10th floor had too much chlorine in the water, but otherwise you could swim a bit to cool yourself.

There was an unexpected "incident" at the end of the stay. When we checked out, I told the lady we did not use any of the drinks from the minibar. I had checked it myself before going out of the room. But the cleaning staff sent a picture with the fridge without the two bottles of water. It is not about value, money wise, but I disliked their dishonesty. I am writing this as a warning for travellers. What if they take something more expensive and then they say you used it! This small incident cast a shadow on the overall impression of the hotel. Otherwise I would have given them a better mark.

The beds were super comfy and very big, the room was spacious and we got a free upgrade which was a big bonus! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was very good considering it was included in our stay price! The location was awesome, so much nearby, great restaurants, bars, cafes etc. And within walking distance of many attractions.

The shower wasn’t super practical, you had to step into the bathtub to have a shower which may not be accessible for everyone. We could hear the person next door, however she was a VERY loud talker so it may say more about her than the hotel.

Excellent location. I was able to walk to almost all of the main tourist attractions, including the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, and several different markets. The room was spacious enough for one person, was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

The breakfast was not great, considering how much amazing food there is in Vietnam. The saving grace was that the location was near multiple street vendors, markets, and other sit-down restaurants, so there was no lack of options. The shower was not hot even after running it for several minutes, but the pressure was really good. And finally, the pool was much smaller than the photos.

The best thing about Jovia hotel for us was definitely its location, we were able to walk to lots of good restaurants and explore Ho Chi Minh City on foot. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. As was the attached bathroom. There was no option to shut a door between the bedroom and the bathroom, so you will be able to hear your partner using the toilet. We didn't mind that too much tho. The rooftop pool, although quite small, was a great way for us to cool down after a day in the city and on our last day we sat up there, soaking in the views and relaxing in the pool, waiting for our transport to arrive. The staff were friendly, but tbh we didn't talk to them that much. We'd recommend this hotel for a shorter stay in the city :)

Our room had two windows, one in the bathroom looking out onto a side street and one in the bedroom, looking out onto... Nothing. The window was facing a wall so our room ended up being quite dark and feeling a little dungeon-esque. We booked the cheapest room and probably would've payed more to have an actual window so beware of that when you book. The breakfast buffet had very very little vegetarian options, which is why we ended up eating cornflakes most mornings. All the "Vietnamese breakfast" options (noodles, rice, etc) had some kind of meat in them, which we thought was a shame. There was no cheese, so all that was left for us was cornflakes and toast with jam. There was an option to order eggs or pho, but especially for vegans, the breakfast might not be too accommodating...

Staff were friendly and helpful. Guys at the door are really good. Our stay here was comfortable. Buffet breakfast is good as well. If you like markets it is very 2 minutes walk away from Ben Than market, which is the main market in Saigon. Restaurants, bars and convenient shops are also just outside the door, as well as street food vendors.

They have a laundry service, but you pay per item, which is a little steep. There are laundry services close by that will wash and dry your clothes for you that charge per kilo.

The staff were remarkably helpful and friendly; the rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. The rooftop pool was a lovely quiet place to cool off.

The breakfast was adequate but could be improved with a wider variety of cereals, for instance muesli.
