We were able to book in the middle of the night after rejecting another place

Bathroom needs a good clean of the mould in grout & it floods when the shower is used, making the floor very slippery.

I needed to book a hotel immediately. Literally two days before I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. Palago Hotel provided such an opportunity. It was very convenient. Overall, the hotel is good. And worth the money. The location is in the tourist center. The room is comfortable. The bathtub is okay. For two or three days - this hotel is a good option.

There are some remarks. The air conditioner in the room is old and did not cool the room quickly and well. Breakfasts - normal. You will not stay hungry. But there is no coffee at breakfast. Only tea. And this is in Vietnam, one of the largest coffee exporting countries in the world.

1. location - near the pho store with best pho i have eaten in hcmc vs other stores, near little hanoi cafe to taste the egg coffee, near bui vien street for party people, 2. size of the room 3. lobby 4. breakfast 5. hospitality of the staff 6. water dispenser 7. bottled water in the room (they replenish it after you request to clean the room)

the hardness of the bed though i was the one who felt it and complain to myself while my sister did not complain and also my relatives. so i think i was just expecting for a softer bed than they have but over all nothing to complain about. just don't mind the intonation of how they speak because its natural with them. ^_^

I like how the hotel is very near to the bus terminals and some tourist attractions and restaurants. The area is clean, especially our room, which had all the amenities we needed. All the toiletries were provided, so kudos for that. I loved the breakfast on the 9th floor—great food and very affordable price for our stay.

I didn't like that the bathtub is connected to the shower area; you need to step into the bathtub to use the shower, which I find inconvenient. Another downside was the food complimentaries in the room that were not free; you have to pay for them.

Great hotel, good location, warm staff. Highly recommend

A regular, clean and decent tourist hotel. All essentials (bed, shower, hot and cold water, wifi) worked perfectly.

Some noise at night, not from the hotel itself, but from outside. If that is an issue, perhaps avoid all hotels in this busy backpacker/party area. No big problem for me though.

Great location in District 1 with many restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance. The hotel is a little dated but was everything we wanted for a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Also the service from the staff aaa outstanding, very friendly, polite and helpful. Particular thanks to Ehaw (I’m sorry about the spelling!) - he really stood out to us for his great customer service, thank you!

Rooms compact, Bathroom suprisingly large considering overall dimensions.and has bathtub Air-conditioning nice and strong and runs independently of room key. As in much of Vietnam WiFi is strong and relatively safe. District 1 location makes this hotel very suitable for foreign guests. Laundry service cheap and efficient and bar fridge offers plenty of options for late might snacks or drinks.

Great location, great value for money, friendly staff, room size was great, couldn’t hear much street noise.

Bed was a little hard for my liking and mould in shower. Every time you showered it would flood the bathroom

It was a wonderful stay at Palago Hotel. Check in was a breeze the receptionist who was professional and able to address the concern on a minor defect in the room toilet. The issue was rectified while I was outside and issue was fixed prior to returning back to the hotel room. Attentive to the details she verified to ensure everything is in order in the next day. Other concerns were also addressed during check-in and also swift arrangement to address some other issues.
