I have stayed at Sunny Guesthouse twice. The staff are extremely kind, caring, and responsive. I asked to extend my stay an extra night and they were able to accommodate my request despite their limited availability and the short notice. The location, price, and quality of my stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located near major tourist attractions, affordable, comfortable, and clean. I can't wait for my next visit.

People who left a review here, praised the location so I was shocked in the first minute that this place is located in a very narrow, shady looking alley. When I entered the place I did not worry anymore. The stuff is nice and they speak a good level of English, they give you great recommendations about dining places and currency exchange. The room is clean and the bed is the most comfortable bed among all my travels. Location: later I realised what other people meant. The place is literally in the centrum of parties and restaurants and markets YET it is so quiet. Everything is in walking distance but you don't have to suffer from the noises during the night.

I did not feel comfortable pulling the curtains becasue a family's balcony is like 2 meters far from my window although I learned in Vietnam, privacy is not an important thing in their culture so I have to adapt.

Charming authentic and homely guesthouse with a very friendly, nice and accomodating owner who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We checked in in the early hours which was not a problem at all and after checking out were able to leave our bags at the accomodation till 5 p. m. The room was exactly the same as in the description and the photos with very comfortable beds and pillows. The location is perfect - off the busy street, in a small alley but still very close to the centre, about 15 minutes' walk. Excellent value for money, highly recommend this guesthouse.

Perfect location. Nearby main streets but very calm place. We can choice room with soft or hard mattress, which was very nice. There is a reception in entrance with fridge with water and beer. Room was very clean , and all place was clean. WiFi was very strong, so perfect for planning trips. There was a/c and fan, which was perfect , you can choose what you need. In the night it was silence here. Location was great, many great restaurant in this street, especially Alley cat restaurant. I reccomend!

i went there already 6 years ago so i was more or less aware of what i would get. back then it was a very positive experience at that place. let me tell you that this time, i fell in love with sunny guesthouse and its staff even more. because i got some back issues, i needed a bed that was a bit more comfortable and after asking them for help they absolutely took me serious and helped me, which basically saved my holidays! i really appreciate all of the women i met and who do a great job there but Yin gets a special place in my heart! it felt like i got a big sister in saigon and i wish i can someday meet her again. by the way: the hotel is inbetween a very freaking busy street and an awful party street but it's crazy how quiet the place is! there are many options to get some nice meals close to it.

A quiet and clean hotel in the heart of the city, on a narrow street (only pedestrians and motorbikes), which is full of street food in the evening and in the morning. Very close to the famous BAR street (Bui Vien), but we could hardly hear any noise. The staff is very nice and helpful. They send you a lot of useful information well before your arrival. On our checkout they booked us a Grab taxi to the airport (best price you can get) and accompanied us to ensure that we safely got into the car.

You have to understand that there is no car access to the entrance and you have to walk ca. 100 meters. There is also no lift inside. But if you can live with it, this hotel is an excellent option.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of the old town but just far enough away from the busy walking street. Very clean accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. We liked it so much we're going back for a couple of nights later in our trip! Great price for what you get, top value.

Bed and pillows are on the firm side but that's very typical in Asia and something we've found in a few hotels. Slept very well though!

Guesthouse is down a little side alley with local shops and beautician that were great value! You are so well located for activities and pick ups. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the room was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.

You can hear the music from walking street until about 3am, so if you have trouble sleeping that might be difficult for you.

The place was very clean and beautifully decorated, staff were wonderful and the location is in an alley right off the Bui Vien walking street so it was very easy to get out and about. Just in the alley the Indian food restaurant a few doors down is incredible and there's a great coffee cart a few steps in the other direction! Despite the close proximity to Bui Vien the rooms were still quiet at night which was great.

We did wish there were water bottles provided in the rooms since tap water in Vietnam can be questionable. Beds are quite firm here so if that is something you enjoy this is a great place to stay! We would have preferred if they were a little softer but still had a great experience.

Great location. Welcoming host, bed was comfy, good room size , once the host turned on hot water the shower was good.

Not enough outlets . There were not enough plugs in my room so the host had to run extension code. Extension cord across the room was not the best setup. I also had to ask the host to turn on hot water, I took a cold shower on the first day.
