My criteria for a good place to stay the location, cleanliness and facilities. I also like a place that offers breakfast. The Saigon Cozy Hotel ticks all of these boxes. The location is one street back from Park and a street with lots of restaurants. It is in walking distance of the large and other sites. I was able to walk to the War Remnants museum and the independence Palace. The tour company picked me up from the main street very close to Hotel which is convenient when taking a tour there is also a McDonald’s, Burger King and Circle K in that street. Subway station is also a short walk away although I did not use the subway. The room itself was large with high ceilings. It contained everything listed including a fridge kettle air conditioning PowerPoint near the bed and a hair dryer. I booked a double room and was greeted with a king size bed and a single bed. A single bed was nice and soft and the king size bed was nice and firm (I prefer a firm bed). There was plenty of storage space wardrobes and drawers a desk and a TV. The ensuite bathroom was attractive and a good size with simple toiletries available. These days to my room was deep but quite manageable and I had the option of one floor up or I could have a room in the other building which was three flights of normal stairs up. My room was quiet and the air conditioning was effective. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The breakfast was a choice of options of a menu. It starts at seven so maybe a rush if you are getting picked up for a tour. There was no milk or creamer for the tea. The breakfast was quite adequate and if you do need to leave early, you could request a banana and a drink to Takeaway. The hostess and all the staff were absolutely lovely and tried to ensure that I had everything I need. They can arrange tours and will ensure that you are picked up from that door.

The Saigon Cozy is a little bit difficult to find, but if you have your Google Maps trust it and follow it. I came into Saigon on a bus and it dropped me off around the corner in the main street. It was very convenient. Also a word of warning, if you are checking out early make arrangements the night before because the building is secured at night and you will need someone to let you out.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff here. Particularly Peony, who was incredibly friendly and made a genuine effort to connect with us and support us in our stay. English of all the staff was excellent. The place felt very safe and secure, so much so that we were comfortable leaving our luggage at reception a few days while we traveled. Peony also booked a luxury coach for us to go to Phan Tiet. The coach was exactly as described and we were able to lay back in comfort. We also had a pedicure. Our pedicurist stayed late at night to accommodate our needs and the work was world class and great value for money. She spent almost an hour on each of us and paid great attention to detail. All in all this was a great value hotel right in the center of everything.

The hotel was located in a central part of the city making it very accessible for first-time visitors. Despite being right next to Bui Vien Walking Street, the alley where the hotel was located was very quiet. There are multiple convenience stores, banks, currency exchange shops, and shopping stores nearby. The breakfast included in our reservation is simple and good, visitors may also opt to try the nearby restaurants to try other dishes. Last but not the least, big thanks to Peony who made our trip very easy and memorable! She assisted us in booking our airport transfers, getting our money exchanged, and also provided us with restaurant recommendations. She also made sure our room was available since we arrived before the check-in time. :)

None. Just a heads up that the hotel does not have an elevator; it might not be ideal for people with disabilities or those traveling with elderly companions.

Very good central location in a tiny alley in the midst of the bustling city. The room was clean and met our expectations. Staff was attentive and took care of us. The hotel had a high service level despite quite small common spaces. Especially the young lady who checked us in was extremely friendy and helpful throughout our stay, big thanks to her for everything! Excellent value.

Overall quite tight spaces. For example the bathroom was a bit small. But they really have made the best of the space they have!

the extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere of this hotel I think is without comparison. there was always good hints and tips for our trip and safety.

not to the fault of the hotel, but the vacinity to the walking street has quite some impact on the tranquility at least of the rooms at the back and floors 4 and 5. facing the front is fine though. the investment in sound proofing windows would for sure be beneficial. in absence of an elevator, the climbing of the 84 steps to the 5th floor is really a heavy challenge for elderly people. I would for sure be appreciated if floors 3 - 5 could be assigned to younger folks.

This budget friendly hotel in the heart of District 1 is all you need for a place to sleep. The owners/managers/staff will do anything to assist you, and to make your stay more enjoyable. Just minutes walk to the busy flashing lights of walking street, and yet you cant hear a thing as this hotel is up a small lane. Breakfast is offered complimentary, as well as advice and assistance. For the less mobile keep in mind there is no lift, and the hotel has 5 floors. The staff, the welcome, and the hospitality are excellent.

Nothing really

I stayed at Cozy for 4 nights and honestly, it was such a refreshing experience. The staff were incredibly kind – not just polite, but genuinely warm. My room was spotless and I loved how quiet it was despite being just 2 minutes from Bui Vien. It's in a small alley, yes, but I actually enjoyed walking through it – tons of food stalls and locals. Heads up: no elevator, so if you have big bags, ask for a lower floor. Overall, it's a great hidden gem in the middle of Saigon’s chaos

Property is nice, located close to many attractions. Many restaurants and shops as well as massage spas just steps away. Options for food are all there.

As it is located right behind the Bui Viên walking street, the loud musics from the bars are blasting well into the night, like 2-3am. Then the loud speakers from the sellers on bikes starts playing their recorded message for whatever breakfast they are selling on the back of their bikes. If you are ok with lots of noise then it is a good place.

Wonderful to be central for a few days at an affordable price. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Room was comfortable and the Aircon worked well. Nice perk to have breakfast included too.

Whilst it was central, it was located down a narrow alley which was fine in the day but arriving at night felt a little uncomfortable as a solo female. WiFi on fourth floor was very slow but perhaps not everywhere. The above are just very minor points - I had a brilliant stay thank you!

The breakfast was simple but it was delicious especially the Banh Mi :) Good enough to fill up your morning stomach :) As for the location, hotel was near with Bun Vien street where you can enjoy your night life. Surrounded by many convenience stores and just a minute walks to Central Market where you can do an underground shopping. oh the central market have their food court too :) Miss Little Peony, a very helpful lady especially in giving info where to go, where to visit, how to get in one place and plus she was friendly too :). Thanks Peony, i enjoyed to stay at your place. Definitely will stay your place if got the chance to visit HCM again.
