A very nice hostel, but 'Homestay (staying in a family home) is a better way to describe the place. A very nice room, shared with 4 very comfortable beds, a nice balcony, very clean and dayly kept tidy with great care by the Homestay Mother, very helpfull & friendly staff, free use uf bicycles, and situated in quiet & green neighborhood at easy biking distance from the old town and cyty centre (south) and a nice beach (north). I could realy feel 'home' at this place with so much love and care and I met nice fellow travelers. All of it for a very low budget price. Great value for money!

Only disadventage I was the rather big distance from the old town & city centre; about half an hour walking. But that was compensated by the free use of bicycles.

The personnel, I mean the family. They are really helpful and friendly, what can be great when you need anything from water to a motorbike. They allowed me to keep the motorbike for two extra hours the next day without paying extra, helped with the bus to Phon Nha, lend old bikes for free to visit the city... Just that would be a 10, but they also offered tea and Fruit to me few times. That's an amazing trait. Great people.

I would say the shared room is weirdly distributed..? It is not like those professional looking hostels crowded with tourists. Also you don't get a locker. However, it has a big terrace with a table to chill after a day of tourism. Overall is a familiar place that leave me with great feelings. They try their best to make you feel welcomed.

The lady is so helpful even tho she is not good at English. we get along thanks to google translate:) Beds are super comfy. Nice garden. The room has a balcony and lots of windows . The place is clean. There are free bicycles you can take and go to the center. It is not that far away. Also, I enjoyed the neighborhood much more than the center .So the location was so good for me.

I wish there were curtains around beds 😕 I had no privacy. But I can understand since they don't use bunks. Also, room arrangement is a little weird . You need to pass some people to go to the bathroom. But if u booked for a room, it would be so great. Since I stayed there 2 nights . I chose dorm.

The Room was Very Nice and very clean and well maintained. The location was Good and Quiet. The Guest House is about 1.5 km from the Old Town but it is Walkable or use the guest House bicycles. Grad Services are. Plentiful and the Transport fees are cheap. A Must Do Go to the Old Town and Float A Candle on the River with a Prayer. Hoi An. . . Quiet when you want Quiet and Vibrant when you want excitement. Enjoy HOI AN with its French Culture

Very friendly and spotlessly clean . Host went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Big rooms and the most comfortable beds with lush pillows . Our lovely host even gave us gifts for New year , as well as providing us with free tea and bananas . Location was perfect 40 mins walk to beach 30 mins walk into town , or if you like to ride bicycle there were plenty of free bikes to choose from . Host even altered the height of the seats for us to make the bike more comfortable. Very quiet nights sleep .

Perfect location , in a quiet and friendly square of Hoi An , not far by walk from old town . Very nice family , if like me you are afraid of driving à scooter you can use for free à bicycle , this is very kind , thank you so much ☺️

One girl in the dorm decided that the dorm should be a fridge, so we had to deal with a low temperature during 2 nights, however it could happen everywhere , staff is not guilty

The property itself is beautiful and the room was very spacious and had an updated bathroom which was amazing. The family itself was very warm and welcoming and treated us with kindness. It’s around 20 min bicycle ride outside of town but it’s a great location to me central to both the beach and town. Bikes are free so it’s no problem to get around and there are restaurants in the area.

The accommodation is amazing, clean and good facilities. The shower is big, the bed confy and they clean and change the towels every day. We had a warm and nice welcoming by the owners. They are lovely. You’ll have a sweet stay if you go there. 100% recommended.

This homestay is really lovely, the facilities are clean and there's a lovely balcony off the dorm room where you can sit and relax. The location is great as it's a little further away from the old town so it's nice and peaceful but easy to get into town (20 mins walking or 5 mins by bike). The family are so welcoming and lovely, they were my favourite part of my stay at Blue Lake!
