The staff were all beautiful. The breakfast was nice and the coffee amazing. The beach was over the road, however it was very hard to cross the road due to traffic and no pedestrian crossing. However if you read up on crossing the roads in Vietnam, you will understand how to weave through.

It was a little run down. We were upgraded to a bigger room, however the down fall was it was in an older building, No aircon in the hallways and lifts, this building was not part of the tower we were booked into, and the room needed major updates. Curtains were falling off their hinges.

I very much liked the concept of a colonial style building even though it was only built in the early 2020s, proving that the Vietnamese people are more than able to fuse their past and present while also looking to the future. The design of the hotel is very elegant and much more enticing to me than other “modern” counterparts in Nha Trang, which you can find all over the world in any country. Besides that, the service was tremendous and very friendly and helpful indeed, and the suite I stayed in was top notch, with beautiful sea views.

The only issues I had with hotel were the fact that the spa, gym and massage facilities were closed for maintenance when my wife and I stayed there while the “pho” noodles at breakfast should have been cooked by a professional chef in traditional Vietnamese style. Everything else was superb.

The room was absolutely stunning and the pool facilities were clean and lovely. We enjoyed the hotel's close proximity to Nha Trang's centre and found it easy to get around from here.

The breakfast included definitely could have been better and it was hard to find food that didn’t have pork in it - even the steamed green beans for some reason had bacon bits on them! Where there were vegetarian options, the ingredients weren’t clearly labelled so it was hard to eat anything but bread, salad or cereal. The staff spoke very limited English so explaining dietary requirements was so challenging that I gave up after trying to explain to the staff multiple times that we don’t eat dairy or pork. I was also disappointed that the spa was undergoing maintenance the whole time we were there, as this was a big drawcard for our choice to stay here.

This was our second visit after going there when covid first broke out in February 2020. The facilities are just superb - a very large, clean room overlooking the ocean and pool, a stunningly beautiful swimming pool and a lovely breakfast area. The breakfast every day was varied, delicious and comprehensive. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful - Ha at reception, Ling Nam and Que at breakfast, Hung at the front and Tun at the pool amongst many. The location is great, within walking distance to the main city, many and varied restaurants and the Dan market. And wow top value for a really great hotel. We will stay at Sunrise again when we visit in 2026.

The staff were extremely polite, well mannered and very professional. After an initial mixup which later turned out to be my fault the staff changed my room twice within the first 2 hours and nothing was a problem for them, they were extremely accommodating and did everything they could to ensure I enjoyed my stay.

Unfortunately during my stay the spa was closed, but I had some fun in the Jacuzzi which caused concerns to staff when bubbles were seen floating from my balcony and the tv reported the first ever snow fall in Vietnam. The staff were great and cleaned up the mess.

We were there in winter ,so the nights are long. You need good lighting in the room to enable reading. Unfortunately the lighting was inadequate-only 1 ceiling light,2 little lamps and 1 standard lamp, in a large room, is not enough The hotel seemed to be near the end of a long front filled with hotels. There were not a lot of shops, cafes or restaurants to choose from- there were some, of course, but we noticed a lot more in the middle of the front as we drove around (we are not very mobile)

Breakfast wasn't great. Catering for so many nationalities I guess is difficult. I don't eat asian food for breakfast so limited choice for me.

We have the highest praise for this hotel and all the staff of this hotel. What an amazing place to stay! We would stay here again and highly recommend it because the staff so all so friendly and nothing to too hard to do for us. From the driver picking us up at the airport, to all the amazing reception staff, the pool staff, house keeping and the staff in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is too die for. So many options western and Asian, fresh juices and Pho, and great coffee too! The room was spotlessly clean with amazing view of the beach. The bed was comfortable and very quiet. We enjoyed using the hotel bicycles too, so easy to explore the area on bikes!

Despite being advertised as a spa hotel the spa was closed. There were no beauty or massage facilities available in the hotel at all. Other than breakfast, the restaurant food and room service were awful. Food was not as ordered and frankly inedible. Shower water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold every few seconds.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful, spacious room with gorgeous view of the sea and the pool. It was a very relaxing stay. The pool is perfect, not crowded and calm. The room service and food overall was decent. Breakfast was good. The area is a little bit away from central Nha Trang, which we really liked. I wished we had stayed longer.

The only thing mildly annoying is the big street and traffic outside the hotel. It's loud if you eat outside in the restaurant.
