Staff were incredibly helpful. Dora (I think is his name!) went above and beyond for us. He reached out a day before check in and helped us arrange a car to pick us up from our bus stop in Hanoi, he let us use a "spare room" for sleeping and shower until our actual room was ready as it was 6 am when we arrived. We rented motorbike from the homestay which was very convenient. We would highly recommend staying here!

I was sick with a flu when staying here. I was really weak and couldnt do much. Lucky the ladies service the rooms everyday. One of the cleaners came in and found me sick. She was so lovely, brought me medicine and food and drink. What i life saver! I love the dogs here too, so lovely. The bigger pup would meet me at the gate when ever i came home. I will miss that dog. When i needed to get transport back to the train station in nihm bihn they called the number i had for me coz my phone wasnt working. Breakfast was good. Pool is nice. I liked staying here. Wish i wasnt so sick for it.

Everything about this beautiful place is great. The staff here, Dora along with his team are the most friendly, helpful and caring staff. One of the days I became very sick, and housekeeping noticed me unwell when they were cleaning the room, five minutes later they brought me a plate of food and some medication, how sweet is that!! The pool is wonderful, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. The location is quiet, nestled into nature, you can hire bikes here, and they can do your laundry too. We have been travelling Vietnam for five weeks and this is by far our best stay. Thank you team, it was a pleasure!

A Peaceful and Spacious Stay in Tam Coc – 10/10 Experience! Stayed: June 12–14, 2025 | Family of 3 We stayed at Tam Coc Friends Bungalow for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was exceptionally spacious, with two super king-size beds—definitely more than enough for the three of us, and could easily fit four people. The bathroom was spotless, and everything felt clean and comfortable. We paid 91 SGD for 2 nights, including breakfast for two adults and one child—great value for money. Even before check-in, the staff reached out asking if we needed help arranging transport, which was a thoughtful touch. Only one staff member, Mr. Dora, could speak English fluently, but the rest of the team was very friendly and eager to help. With a bit of Google Translate and hand gestures, communication was never a big problem. Mr. Dora was especially helpful—even gave us sweets during check-out! The bungalow is surrounded by beautiful mountains and paddy fields, creating a truly peaceful and scenic environment. There’s also a nice swimming pool to relax and enjoy the day. Renting a motorbike made it very convenient to visit nearby attractions—and even though I rented it for two days, they kindly charged me for only one! The breakfast buffet was simple but satisfying, with a small action station offering omelets, fried eggs, and noodles cooked to order. While the in-house restaurant was closed during our stay because the chef was on leave, I wouldn’t hesitate to try it next time. Overall, I give this place a solid 10/10 for its hospitality, value, and peaceful setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tam Coc—especially families and nature lovers.

Many thanks to manager Tolya for advice and selection of a sightseeing tour of Ninh Binh! We saw everything in one day! It was amazing! The hotel is home to two very charming and sociable cats with kittens. The hotel itself is located in a quiet place among rice fields and rocks, far from the center of the village, but close to two temples, which we visited on the hotel's free bikes on the first day in addition to the sightseeing tour. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The place to visit Ninh Binh is very good and convenient, we recommend it!

We had two rooms. A bungalow with a garden view and a deluxe room with a pool view. The bungalow was 25% more expensive, although they were absolutely the same size and location. The only difference is that the bungalow has 2 beds, and the deluxe has one. We were a little surprised by this.

Our stay in Ninh Binh was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect—nestled amidst lush greenery and dramatic limestone mountains, offering breathtaking views right from our window. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a peaceful, rustic charm. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful recommendations for local attractions, food, and activities. They helped us arrange bike rentals and a boat tour in Trang An, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Waking up to the sound of nature, enjoying a hearty breakfast with fresh local ingredients, and exploring the serene countryside made this stay unforgettable. We left feeling relaxed, inspired, and already planning our return. Highly recommend staying here if you want a mix of nature, culture, and genuine Vietnamese hospitality.

Perfect location outside of town right next to picturesque rice paddies. The property has a small swimming pool and rooms are dotted in amongst pretty gardens. Rooms are spacious with a lovely hot shower and comfortable beds. Dora was so helpful in arranging taxis & telling us about the local sights. We didn’t go for the whirlwind tour of everything in a day. Instead we hired bicycles from the property and did things at a leisurely pace over 3 days.

The breakfast was ok but the coffee was cold and no choice of juice or butter/jam for toast. Would have greatly appreciated a Bahn My option. These are small suggestions however.

Lovely pool area, huge bed, the room was really nice, in a very beautiful part of tam coc surrounded by natural beauty, incredible host who was such a kind lady, they gave us free plums and water for our travel onwards which they kindly arranged for us, we loved this place and even extended a night

On our last night a very large local family were staying here too, they sadly took over the pool area and were quite noisy although this of course is not the hosts fault, fridge could have done with a clean

The receptionist guy was super friendly and nice, tried to help us with any problem we had. The area is super beautiful, the pool, the garden, the water pier. Breakfast was very nice, wide range of food. Not a smart TV, but we could mirror the screen of the phone to watch movies. Two kittens (we named them Whiskey and Cola) and the dog Su were highlight of our stay :)

The room didn't have the shower carpet, shampoos, shower gel or even the shower shelf. We felt uncomfortable because of it. The motorbike for rent was very old, mirrors were not adjusted, there were always some clucking while driving. But thankfully nothing happened. None of the staff except receptionist speak any word of English.

The most loveliest family run property, so welcoming and friendly - the cutest dog ever!! The room was exceptionally clean with fresh water and towels everyday. Pool was clean with an option to sunbathe as they offer sunbeds. You can hire bikes for the day which is perfect as everywhere in ninh bình is flat. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this property, any issues we had they were always so helpful especially in terms of using grab to book a taxi as isn’t as common in tam coc they booked one for us.
