We stayed at Tam Coc Chic Villa & Resort and really appreciated the peaceful, green surroundings and the warm, personal service. This small-scale resort is a lovely place to relax, with a beautifully maintained garden and low-rise buildings that blend naturally into the landscape. The swimming pool is set in lush greenery and provides a refreshing break after a day of exploring. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always doing their best to ensure guests feel comfortable. The rooms are simple but clean and pleasant, with a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Breakfast is very basic, but always served with a smile. One practical suggestion would be to provide an industrial toaster, as the current household model isn't sufficient when the restaurant gets busier. The hotel also makes a sincere effort to offer on-site dining, but nearby restaurants are significantly cheaper, which is where most guests seemed to go. One thing to note: the entrance is not well marked, which made it difficult for our Grab driver to find the location. Better signage would help future guests. Despite these small points, we truly enjoyed our stay. Tam Coc Chic Villa & Resort is a peaceful and welcoming base for discovering the beauty of Ninh Binh, and we would gladly recommend it.

I liked everything. The plants in the hotel area are stunning, the view from the window was wonderful! The stuff was very nice to us! The swimming pool was also very nice! I fall in love with the hotel! The hotel allowed us to keep the luggage in the reception for the whole day after the checkout. For free. It was very good because we wanted to explore Ninh Binh a little more before going to the bus to go to Hoi An. The hotel also offers free bikes! We used them to go to Mua Caves (about 7km away). One famous pagoda is only 5-10 min walk from the hotel. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxing!

Unfortunately the last night of our stay was ruined by a very loud private event at the hotel which we hadn’t been warned about in advance. The music was ridiculously loud and the karaoke singing was also very loud (and bad). Management should reconsider hosting private events whilst paying guests are at the hotel because it really disturbed our peace and annoyed us. We weren’t even warned in advance and it felt like we were in a low cost hostel or something with the loud music. Not good.

The location is amazing: surrounded by the beautiful and astonishing Tam Coc mountains and immersed in the nature. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, who arranged for us the early check-in, since we arrived from Sapa with a sleeper bus at 6am. The hotel is a lil gem, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is also a key element (unfortunately we couldn’t use it because the weather wasnt warm enough, but we’re sure it would be a nice experience to take advantage of it). Bikes are for free, and we used them in the first morning to explore the surrounding, til the Bird Valley. Breakfast was the best we have had so far in our stay in Vietnam: rich, delicious and diverse.

There was a bit of sewer smell coming from the shower. The problem could be solved at least partly perhaps with a cover for the shower drain. Apart from that no problem at all and if we could we would have stayed longer!

Beautiful location, just outside Tam Coc town. Quieter than in the touristy main area, set beneath a large cliff face. Room was very comfortable, staff were all very friendly and food was great. Pool was clean, air conditioning worked. Rooms were quiet. Spa treatments were cheap and good quality. We highly recommend Lalita Tam Coc. All of the staff were great, with special mention to the young lady who helped cook & serve breakfast and served near the pool during the day. I believe her name is Phan. Also the young man Dat was very kind and helpful also and ensured our stay was comfortable. Stay here if you would like a relaxing and enjoyable environment. We stayed 4 days and it was great.

This is a fabulous little boutique resort - max 33 people. The location is idyllic - incredibly quiet - right beside a spectacular limestone Karsk - just a short distance from the touristy but lovely Tam Coc. Wonderful friendly hospitality - Dat was so helpful in arranging travel & sightseeing needs & all of the staff were wonderful without exception. Very good value for money - Beautiful large rooms & modern well appointed bathrooms. A/C worked well - lovely breakfast - big variety of vietnamese food. Pool & gardens were beautiful & well maintained & very welcome at the end of a marvellous days sightseeing in what must be up there on the list of the worlds most spectacular scenery.

Beds! Reasonably comfy but were hot - needed the aircon blasting to stay cool enough to sleep. They could do with replacing with a better quality mattress. Same for the sister hotel in Tam Coc. I suspect the property is due for an update but having said that - it was priced accordingly & was exceptionally clean & tidy. Also Needs bedside tables with drawers with better charging facilities & luggage stands also.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lalita Tam Coc. The location is great, walking distance to landmarks such as the beautiful Bich Dong temple but also far enough out of the main stretch of town to not be right in the middle of the tourist bustle. The pool with the cliff in the backdrop is gorgeous and the staff were very friendly, especially Dat who was extremely helpful in planning our activities and giving us advice on what to do in the area.

The pool chairs could use some cushions to be a bit more comfortable to sit on.

We had a great time staying at Lalita Tam Coc resort. Its location was perfect, quiet and peaceful but easily reachable to all tourist destinations in Ninh Binh. The rooms are spacious and clean. The resort's partnered driver was very knowledgeable and helped us plan our itinerary at a reasonable cost. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend Lalita Tam Coc to anyone visiting Ninh Binh

Friendly welcoming helpful staff from the moment we arrived , helped us arrange taxis and advice about local trips. We used their laundry service- was good value and perfectly done. - also initially we had decided not to eat in restaurant on basis of a few other reviews but in fact the breakfast was excellent and we also ate dinner there which was good value and delicious. The hotel is half an hour walk from the village but there are free bicycles and you can rent scooters. Taxi to Nimh Binh station costs 150k . The pool looks lovely but we were there in winter. The gardens are also very pretty. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends

The hotel grounds are very lovely with beautiful gardens and a nice pool. The location is close to town (can use hotel bicycles) but removed enough to feel tranquil and peaceful.

The bathroom doors don't give much privacy, they are sliding door made of frosted glass. They are also noisy when they open and close so you can hear the doors opening and closing in the rooms above or below.
