Located in a quiet, tranquil setting, the staff were helpful and offered great service. The bungalow room was comfortable and well appointed with a lovely vista looking over the Karsts. High-quality dining on the balcony with rice fields and birds singing every evening. The pool area was enjoyable, and the free bikes were a great way to explore the surroundings. There are free yoga and craft workshops every day for you to choose if inclined, we made some fans on a day when it was raining, this was great fun

The Hotel does charge a premium compared with other local establishments, but the quality of the establishment offsets that.

This was an incredibly serene property. It’s nestled amongst rice fields and mountains with beautiful gardens. Our room was large with a very nice bathroom with tub and shower. It had a lovely terrace to sit on and read. We had massages twice while we were there and they were great both times. Breakfast had numerous options to choose from and was tasty. We also ate dinner there and they had an extensive menu. The staff were super friendly and gracious. They provide a guide book to the area and not only was it helpful but it was beautifully written. We took the provided bikes to Bich Dong Pagoda and also into Tam Coc. It’s a scenic ride and quite lovely.

This is a gorgeous garden retreat set in the extraordinary karst and paddy field scenary. Download Grab app and local taxis and scooters can move you in and out of Tam Coc town centre if you don’t like cycling. However I will say we only did one trip to town for dinner in attempt to save some money - roast duck is basically in the menu everywhere. It was ok but not in the same league as the food that the hotel produced so I wouldn’t waste your time travelling in and out in the evenings. The restaurant is fantastic - breakfast and dinners and pool side lunch snacks we tried were fab. The staff work so hard to make everything perfect. They’d made such an effort for my birthday and made a wonderful cake. The reception staff were brilliant and helped organise great half day trips so we could do the Tam Coc boat trips and avoid queues. The have a wonderful boat trip that leaves from just outside the gate. Free bikes means you’re free to looter as you like. They also help us organise transfers to and from Hanoi and to and from a golf day at Trang An. Finally she spent repeated phone calls to Vietnam airlines customer service to help us sort and problem with our flights, much easier in Vietnamese!! The villas are beautiful and sympathetically designed to merge into the garden. Mosquito nets are put out each evening for you. Lovely tea and coffee in the room. All the ceramics are home made including the incredible bath tub which was a joy in the cool evenings (we were here in winter). Gorgeous pool and bar I really couldn’t fault our stay here.

I wish we could have stayed Longer

We absolutely loved our stay. From the minute we arrived we could see how beautiful a resort this was. The design of the rooms are great with the staff always smiling and very helpful. The surroundings are incredible, we would go back in a heartbeat.

This wasn’t so much of an issue as it happened the morning of our checkout but after some very heavy rainfall we woke up to a leak in the roof and the bottom of our bed soaked. I’m sure it would have been fixed promptly but we had to mention it. Don’t let it put you off booking a stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Staff were great - really helpful throughout our stay. The free bikes were awesome for exploring the local area and seeing the local attractions. When we wanted to go further afield (e.g Trang An) - the hotel organised a driver and sorted the price, at a good cost. The pool was great and a beautiful setting. Food for both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Room was comfortable - lovely view & great shower. Quite a few bugs / mosquitoes, but the staff put a mosquito up during their night service of the room. Highly recommend this lovely place!

The villa was clean and had a cozy feel. The garden and pool area were beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed the mostly local dishes. The staff were exceptionally friendly. A great bonus was the free bikes available to explore the surrounding area.

Although it didn’t affect our stay in any way, some parts of the hotel felt a bit dated.

This is such a beautiful place with attention to detail and design, whereas the design fits the Vietnamese culture. What an enjoyable place to be. All the houses carefully created with every luxury you need, and yes no television but the area is sooo beautiful using a Television means your not aware of your surroundings. The free Bike service also made us to travel and see the beautiful area of Ninh Binh. We dit use the bike for a full day and wow that was a good experience. Great food at the hotel but similarly in the local village. All in all definitely can recommend this hide away. It was simply a very very good hotel with super friendly staff.

The WiFi was not that fast, but there was always the 4G to the rescue. No all was perfect.

The rooms were very well looked after and were as described on the booking platform. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast selection as well as the friendliness of all staff members on site. It was great to have such a well maintained pool present on the grounds that was easily accessible. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and tasted just as great as our previous stay at Tam Coc Gardens.

Beautiful setting, fantastic restaurant and food. Amazing garden. Room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Free bicycles which were great to visit attractions in the area. One of the best if not the best place to stay in the area.

We had a massage that dd not meet the high standard of the hotel nor was the spa centre up to standard. It was not very professional, with no privacy to get dressed, we were visible to all at the resort. We could also hear everything through the patrician of the people next door, they may as well have been in the same room. We had equivalent or better massages in the street for much cheaper

This was our second stay at this resort, and we highly recommend it. The location is incredible, peaceful, and with stunning views. The staff was kind and attentive. The breakfast was out of this world, with tons of different options. The dinner was not as good, as we found it too “western” and less authentic, but still tasty. Staying at Tam Coc Garden resort was the perfect way to end our vacation in Vietnam!
