Beautiful home stay/hotel in a scenic and quiet area. Loved the pool and how big our room was! Felt a bit burnt out so this was the perfect place to relax. Staff were kind enough to give us a camp bed to stay on when we arrived via sleeper bus early at 4am and gave us breakfast and let us check into our room slightly earlier. Friendly staff who were so helpful and gave us lots of information on Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. Only thing would be breakfast could be improved - the pancakes were very undercooked so couldn’t eat them as would have been ill. And maybe some comfier chairs for around the pool.

The bungalow was very clean and beautiful, we felt right at home. It was perfectly located near the bird valley, Bích Động pagoda and Tam Cốc village. All of those being accessible by foot as well. For longer distances, like visiting Tràng An, they offer scooters for rental at a low price. The included breakfast was always very delicious and quickly served. Like others mentioned as well though, the hosts are what brings it all together. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. They helped wherever they could and are, besides the beauty of Ninh Binh of course, the main reason we will definitely be coming back. They were very helpful booking a trip back to Hanoi Airport as well and organized a taxi for us at a very low price.

Loved my stay here, one of my favorite places in Southeast Asia so far! The hotel is just outside of Tam Coc, but close by, you can bike there in a few minutes or a 2 dollar grab taxi can take you there in 5 minutes. Being outside of town means it's super quiet and quiant. It's very close to some of the pagodas and the bird sanctuary, too. You can bike to one of the pagodas in 5 minutes or less. The room I stayed in was nice. The bed was huge (queen or even king size), and very comfortable. Hot water readily available and a minibar. The breakfast is included and you can choose between eggs and fruit or pancakes. They have a restaurant where you can get dinner or lunch and it's very good, prices are competitive with those from Tam Coc. The hotel seems to be family owned and run, and they were all amazing, always with a smile in their face and ready to help with tours, taxis to train station, busses, or any help needed.

I liked everything.

We had a great time at this place. However the bathroom could be a little cleaner, the beds were nice and the staff was very kind. We booked a day tour via tam coc Mountain bungalow and found out later this was the cheaper option than booking it ourselves. I would recommend this place for the rest and beauty. The busy street in Ninh Binh is like a 30 minute walk, which was fine for us. Otherwise you could rent a bicycle at the place.

Very quiet and picturesque location to the west of the town centre, nestled between rice paddies and limestone mountains. The room is large and comfortable. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter got quite sick, and the owner went out of her way to help reschedule our departure and accomodate us for longer than we had planned. Nice swimming pool and cheap motorbike rental. Will definately stay here again when I return for another visit.

Tam Coc mountain bungalows was one of our favourites during our month in Vietnam! The owners made us feel so welcome and looked after us our entire stay. They were very helpful booking us buses and giving advice on what to do during our stay! The rooms were so spacious and clean, and the outside area so peaceful. They also offer bikes and washing services which was great for us! The location is great, you can walk to lots of places :)

For sure the most beautiful hotel we stayed in Vietnam! Even though it was extremely cheap it has exceeded our expectations. As soon as we arrived and checked in they let us borrow some bikes to go exploring the rice fields nearby at sunset and it was an amazing experience! The pool they have is great especially if you arrive there after a long day trip in the hot Vietnamese weather!! They helped us organise the tour for the next day around Tam Coc and also the transfer from the Halong Bay to the hotel and to Hanoi the next day. We also tried the food for dinner and the noodles and the orange juice were definitely worth the trip there, by far the tastiest we had in Vietnam!

THE COMFIEST BED WE HAVE STAYED IN IN 3 MONTHS OF TRAVELLING!!! The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. The setting is beautiful and tranquil. We didn’t go in the pool but it looked clean and was clearly well maintained.

You would definitely need a bike or scooter to explore, as Tam Coc is fairly remote. Took us around 30 mins to walk to the “town centre”. Hot water wasn’t totally reliable but that’s to be expected given the location.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The property is just gorgeous. Our room was nice and it had one of the best showers we’ve had in 3 months. The staff here went absolutely above and beyond for us. We arrived in the early hours of the morning from a night bus and they organised a temporary area for us to sleep in before we checked in and even gave us free breakfast for that day! When we were leaving we had another night bus and wanted to shower after we checked out and they were so accomplished and gave us towels.

A little bit out the town, but you can rent bicycles and can only take 5 mins

The hotel is really cute and in a calm area a bit outside of Tam Coc village. I stayed in private room which was clean and comfy. Unfortunately the weather was really cold so I was not able to enjoy pool but it looked just as in pictures!

As the weather was cold (under 15 degrees) it was pretty cold to eat breakfast outside in the morning - also the room was quite cold.
