The facilities are absolutely gorgeous and you can relax at and instant It’s very nice with the bungalows and pool, at nights you hear the frogs around It’s quite and peaceful, perfect to relax There are restaurants in walking distance You have free yoga and breakfast and can use the private beach area of a sister hotel The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Since ferries didn’t operate for days I was helped to find an alternative and could even cancel one night free of charge due to those difficulties There is a free shuttle bringing you to the north and airport (just be aware of the operating hours)

There are a few minor things I would suggest to adjust for a 10 star review: - the pillow is very thick I would prefer a softer/smaller one - yoga was communicated to be at 8am and 5pm but in the end it took place at 4 on at the beach this would be nice to get informed when checking in - the breakfast was nice but could contain a bit more healthy options (instead of egg and toast) as it is declared as healthy retreat and for drinks it should be asked if guests want to have sugar in it or not ( in Europe a lot health aware people already don’t use industrial sugar anymore and it was way to sweet for me) - the pool has a lot of leaves in it and should be cleaned daily to be able to use it - for me the mattress could also be a bit softer

Staying at An Nhien really is affordable luxury - the accommodation is a peaceful sanctuary, beautiful large swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and comfortable rooms to stay in. Breakfast is provided every morning which is prepared fresh to order and you also get a free yoga class in the afternoon. As a complete beginner to yoga Chau was a very good and patient teacher. Also the location is unrivalled - 10 minutes from the airport, a few minutes walk to the private beach and lots of nice restaurants and spas on the same street. We also used the free shuttle bus a few times to go to Starfish Beach in the north and Phu Quoc Night Market. Qiana, her family and the other staff were very kind, it is no frills helpful service (unlike other hotels where sometimes it feels like they’re trying to sell you things endlessly). Qiana even helped us to negotiate a refund after we had a bad experience trying to visit the cable cars - FYI these close at 5pm so don’t try to visit them at sunset like we did! Many people said not to visit Phu Quoc island as it is quite touristic and resorty, but our experience of staying at this retreat was the opposite. 100% recommend if you are looking to switch off and relax - especially at this time of year when the island itself is pretty quiet.

Really nice stay in your hotel! Beautiful garden, cosy bungalows! There were very friendly cats and dogs inside the retreat which makes a friendly home atmosphere :). Take care of them because they are a huge advantage of the atmosphere in the hotel :).

The title retreat is very demanding. Retreats like that in Thailand or Indonesia offer more additional amentities - herbal tea (instead of a tea from the bag), healthy snacks, sauna, massage. In the retreat there is one free yoga lesson per day - it should be more! Three yoga or meditation classess for day will be really good.

Amazing resort. Located not far from the airport and the city center. There are many nice establishments around where you can eat inexpensively and tasty. There is access to a private beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. Every evening there is yoga with a view of the sunset. I would like to especially thank Kiana for the warm welcome and willingness to help, and Chau for the wonderful yoga classes and for being attentive to each of us

Wonderful stay! The resort itself is super quiet, however close to everything: Right outside is a juice & fruit paradise, where you can get all sorts of healthy stuff, the laundry is right there, and you also have a wonderful little massage saloon (Sun Spa) where a very sweet lady gives excellent massages for a very good price. The beach is not far away and it's really clean and beautiful. Inside the resort, people are sooooooooooooooooooooo friendly and go out of their way all the time!! Whenever you had a question, they were there for you. When my charger broke (but I had an important work to finish) they organized me one swiftly (without me even asking), when there was a power cut, Minh drove me to a café with electricity. The internet in the bungalow and elsewhere around worked just fine for my purposes. The air condition was pretty much doing a perfect job. The room was cleaned daily (if you wanted) and the cleaning team was so kind and diligent, they always paid attention to the little details and made sure the room looked impeccable at all times. Also, the other guests were very polite, no drunk people, no yelling, everything very peaceful. Long story short: After a couple of days in this little oasis I felt like a brandnew person. Highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a relaxed and friendly stay.

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to leave ;). But if you want to make this perfect place even more perfect, that would be for me a water boiler in the room, so I don't have to rely on anyone outside for my coffee ;).

The little oases in the area! We loved the garden and yoga classes in the morning! Soma and Gang are really great yoga teachers and to have such a beautiful yoga studio makes this place a real retreat! Rooms are simple but good, you can refill your water bottle at the reception, no plastic waste is really a plus for the place! And no TV.. ;-) It is also a plus for us, that means the place is quiet too! There are plenty of nice places to eat around the corner. Only down side, it is a bit difficult to get to the beach, even if it's not far away. You will understand what I mean when you get there. We absolutely recommend this place even for longer stays and looking forward to come back!

Very peaceful, easy to forget the busy road a block away. Morning yoga. Comfortable bed and bathroom with strong a/c and fan. Staff available day round. Laundry and scooter rental service nearby. About 10 minutes by scooter and bus to the city. Lots of wildlife (birds, cicadas, bats, etc) in the trees.

Path can be slippery/hazardous from the algae, the pool is not always cleaned of fallen plants, the lounge chairs a bit basic. My biggest issue was that I left having without anyone informing me the balance was still due resulting in my friend who stayed an extra night having to pay the whole bill in cash because they wouldn’t charge my card. Not ok.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful property in Phu Quoc for our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Nestled in a peaceful location on the island, the property is conveniently close to the Phu Quoc International Airport and offers easy access to every part of Phu Quoc due to its strategic central location. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, and convenient stay while exploring the island. We stayed in the Superior King Room, which was incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable. The property offers daily yoga classes from 9 AM to 10 AM (except Sundays). Free for guests staying at this property, which added to the relaxing vibe of our stay. Nearby, there are massage centres, tour guide services, car and motorbike rentals (you can rent a scooter from the property too), restaurants, stalls, and a convenience store - all within walking distance. The host and owner, Mr. Minh, is incredibly friendly, witty, and made us feel right at home. He was always accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. All the staffs at An Nhien Retreat were also very kind and helpful. On our last day, we faced difficulty finding transport to the airport due to Vietnamese New Year holidays, but one of the staff quickly arranged a transfer for us, saving the day. This place truly gave us the Four Seasons Langkawi vibes - luxurious and serene, at a reasonable and affordable cost. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. Thank you, Mr. Minh and team, for making our honeymoon so special!

If you're looking for an island retreat paradise, this is the place. I'd seen the photos online, but was blown away the second I stepped foot on the property. The retreat is filled with tropical greenery and a massive clean outdoor pool which was always the perfect temperature, even at night. And plenty of deck chairs and day beds surrounding the pool and even a swing. Despite feeling like we were in our own isolated slice of paradise, within a less than one minute walk away we could access plenty of massage/spa places, a massive convenience store, and an amazing restaurant with cheap beers, cocktails, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian options (but also plenty of seafood and meat options). The retreat is only a 2 minute walk from the Long beach (the best beach we've seen so far). Being less than a minute from the main road meant we were walking distance from a wide variety of restaurants. The owner also went above and beyond to accommodate us, and helped us book an incredible boat tour. The free breakfast was pancakes with condensed milk and a variety of tropical fruits. Can't believe we were living in paradise for only $20AUD a night. Would highly recommend. If I could rate it 15/10 I would.

the pool and garden was so beautiful. although they located in a quite busy area, the courtyard was quiet and felt almost secluded. everything was kept nice and clean. although the room suite was not my favourite. the interior lacks coherent and functional purposes. there’s only 1 big window looking out to the pool: kept it open and we felt too exposed, closed the curtain and the room went dark and stuffy. there’s no toiletry like toothbrushes or razor. only the basics are provided like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner & blow dryer. you can ask the staffs for in-house slippers. a heads-up that they are cutting down on single use plastics — right after we booked the venue would be much appreciated. we arrived 3hrs early and they let us check-in right when the room was available. the staffs were very friendly and helpful. overall it was such a pleasant stay. would highly recommended~
