Right on the beach, private beach with sun beds, comfortable bed, room big. They clean room every day. Beautiful bar with looking on the sea. Massage on the beach very cheap and good!

I prefer buffet breakfast instead of 1 dish to choose with 1 drink to choose. Ordered coffee with milk ( every morning) always got just half of the small cup, and it was 3 in one cheap coffee, not real coffee. Why not give a full small cup? Many dishes at the restaurant are not really tasty and overpriced. Property is not allowed to bring any food or drinks to the room or beach. What is really not fair! I personally didn't like food that they were cooking . No swimming pool. Location is down to small street, so every time you go out, you need to walk up the hill ( not easy walk) Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel not provided. Also only 2 bath towels provided, no face towels.

Great location at the end of the beach, the Rocky area was great for exploring, fab for kids and the sea nice to play in. The rooms are large and comfortable, basic and little tired but actually the character and gardens surrounding the rooms made it lovely. I walked the length of the beach and saw other budget properties and even some expensive ones I nearly booked but when I saw the beach area and the abandoned disused buildings around them I was more than happy with my choice of free beach. It is near to nice restaurants and beach bars, not as lively as I was expecting but a lovely chilled vibe. Staff were lovely and helpful too!

We celebrated our anniversary at Free Beach Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. We felt so well taken care of by the warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to make our stay special. We especially enjoyed the quiet evenings, the delicious food, and the feeling of being away from it all. It was the ideal place for us to reconnect and celebrate. We chose Free Beach Resort for our Phu Quoc adventure, and it was a charming experience overall! The location is undeniably beautiful, right on a lovely stretch of sand. Our little bungalow was cute, though perhaps a tiny bit rustic in places – but hey, that's part of the island charm, right? We spent most of our time outdoors anyway. The food was pretty good, and the staff were generally sweet. We did have a minor hiccup with our air-con on the first night, but they sorted it out quickly enough. If you're a couple who isn't looking for five-star polish but appreciates a genuine, relaxed atmosphere with stunning scenery, you'll enjoy it here. We certainly did, giggles and all!

We had such a fantastic time at Free Beach Resort! The whole place has a really positive, laid-back vibe that we loved. Our days were a happy mix of swimming in the clear ocean, trying out the tasty local dishes at the restaurant, and enjoying a few cocktails while watching the sunset – which, by the way, are spectacular here! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. We found it to be a great base for exploring a bit of Phu Quoc too. For a couple looking for a fun, relaxing, and hassle-free beach vacation, this place definitely hits the mark. We made some great memories!

We just returned from the most incredible week at Free Beach Resort, and honestly, we're already dreaming of going back! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Our beachfront bungalow was a dream, with stunning views of the turquoise water. We spent our days hand-in-hand, strolling along the pristine sand, enjoying romantic dinners under the stars, and simply soaking up the serene atmosphere. The sunsets were out of this world! This wasn't just a vacation; it was a magical experience that brought us even closer. Free Beach Resort is a true gem in Phu Quoc for any couple seeking romance and relaxation. We can't recommend it enough!

A gem of a place, tucked away from the busier resorts but easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. Its own bar is on the seafront, waves lapping as you eat breakfast or have an evening meal watching the sunset. I recommend the vegetarian pancake. Really friendly staff to welcome you. Huge comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and shower. Daily cleaning to refresh towels, make up the bed and sweep away all traces of sand.

Lots of steps down to our accommodation and the bar, not great for me with limited mobility. And large stepping stones through greenery to reach our door from the main path, difficult to balance on. But for the sprightly, no problem and it probably adds to the charm. Food rather basic, variable quality.

We really enjoyed our stay! The resort is in a great location, right on the beach. It’s also central to everything else, close to all the nice restaurants and beach bars. It has its own little stretch of beach, enclosed by some rocks, which makes the location more private and quiet than the other nearby resorts. The place has a rustic charm to it. The sun also sets on this side of the island so you can watch some beautiful sunsets here! The resort has its own restaurant, which is convenient & they have complementary breakfast - it’s simple, but enough. The staff were friendly and helpful - big plus that we could rent scooters directly from them. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything that you needed. They also gave you new towels everyday. All in all, I would definitely stay at Free beach Resort again :) It exceeded our expectations.

Their own stretch of beach was quite clean, but on the sides of the resort by the rocks there was some washed up litter that hadn’t been picked up. Whilst it wasn’t a huge bother to us, it would improve the overall aesthetics of the resort to pick up that litter from time to time.
