Beautiful, new hotel. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Everything very stylish, bright, cozy. Overall a nice place. The staff were nice.

Our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast and there is no restaurant in the vicinity where you can have breakfast. You are forced to use overpriced beach bars and eat average food. But no place serves breakfast. We had no toilet paper in the room and had to ask for it. When we asked second time the roll was never brought to us. There is no storage space in the room, so you are forced to keep all your belongings on the floor.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect - just a short, walkable distance from the best beach on the island. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, always making sure we felt welcome. The room was beautifully designed, fresh, and well-maintained with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.

However, there is one area that could be improved. During our week-long stay, there was no housekeeping service, including cleaning, towel replacement, or even a toilet paper refill. It would be great if regular housekeeping could be provided to enhance the overall experience.

The hotel room has every amenity you need. The bed was comfortable, the shower was really good, there is a fan, air conditioning, a fridge, bathrobes etc in the room. The room was decorated beautifully. You can really feel at home at this hotel.

Nothing the hotel can do about this, but still something important to note: the area is built up like a french district, a lot of empty houses though which is a bit weird. To get an authentic asian/vietnamese experience you need to drive to other areas on the island. But this is nothing against the hotel itself which was beautiful and perfect to stay at.

The attention to detail in the design of the hotel was excellent. Although, the rooms were small they were beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was of the latest technology and good water power. It made our stay very pleasurable and comfortable. It's unbelievable value for money. Having such a lovely welcome from reception. She's a style icon with her beautiful shoes and dresses although we didn't speak any Vietnamese we managed to communicate through Google. Wonderful beach within easy walking distance

The lack of restaurants and bars

The hotel is very beautiful and very clean. The location was for us very good. It was 5 min walk from the beach. At the beach you have 3 nice restaurants. We rented a motorbike what we recommend if you want to see some of the island. The price-quality of this place is really perfect! We would recommend and stay here again.

The place has hotel status but there was no cleaning during our 4 day stay.( would be nice with all the sand we got from the beach) And at checkin there was told , they would daily refill coffee and water, wich never happend.

The hotel is great, super clean and a lot of attention to details. Facilities are good quality and very modern. Quite stylish interior. The stuff was super friendly and responsive.

I believe that hotel is pet friendly and dogs was barking any random time 2am, 5am, which is normal for animals but it awake us every time in the middle of the night. Also cleaning of streets occurred very early in the morning, which also makes it difficult to have a peaceful sleep.

very beautiful rooms and common areas, friendly receptionist, close to the beach, small markets and some coffee shops, very peaceful, close (10min by Grab, 30-40 minutes on foot) to both, an thoi and sunset city

not many food options around, no room cleaning if staying for several days (although you can ask for new amenities, so it did not really bother us)

We had a wonderful stay in La Grotta Hotel. The room was cozy, clean, and very stylish. The lady owner speaks English very well and is so friendly and thoughtful. Just one street away there are many shops and restaurants. The beach is within walking distance as well. The good price of the hotel really strikes me. We booked three rooms in total. Definitely come again next time. 👍

The hotel is amazing. all new, cleaning is great, very close to the beach and cool stuff

not much places around, grab bike doesnt exist there, much less option of food places compared to the west of island So hotel would be perfect for someone who wants a lot of privacy

We had a great stay in the beautiful, comfortable and quiet grotta with the very friendly and helpful owner Thinh. It’s the only place around with a heart and soul, we think, so it’s definitely recommended.

Some scooter issues, which you can rent, but we always got help and it worked out ok. The standard rooms are not very big, but very beautiful.
