"I gave a 10 because, as a traveler staying just one night before an early morning flight, this hotel was exactly what I needed. The room was small but spotless, with quality toiletries and a large, very comfortable bed (I was traveling with my 21-year-old son). The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, both when we arrived late in the evening (after 10 p.m.) and when we left very early (around 5 a.m.). The location is perfect – just a short walk to the airport if you don’t have much luggage – and the transport connections are excellent. I only discovered on departure that there’s also a metro nearby, which links directly to the city. If I had known sooner, I would happily have booked three nights here. I didn’t get the chance to try the restaurant, but everything else exceeded my expectations.

The breakfast was excellent, offerings typical for this type of hotel. The rooms are spacious and well-designed. For travelers looking for overnight accommodation, a very acceptable location near the highway and the airport.

Lack of toilet paper in 3 of the 4 rooms I rented for one night. Not even the employee who works at the reception could help with that. The bar was not open, and we only found out about it when checking in. There were also no places to go out in the area.

Shortly after arrival I fell down with a sever vomiting bug, and the comfort and facilities in the hotel, location close to two big superstores, peace and quiet of the room supported me through this, greatly. The beds were super comfortable and hot water on hand. Generous amount of toilet roll and I was left in piece and quiet to recover. It was also handy all the Euro games were on their TV to help pass he time.

It's only fault was they failed to charge me for breakfast, when I checked in. Then when I checked out, charged me for 3 days breakfast, when they knew I had only had breakfast one day, due to illness.

The rooms are beautiful and clean. The wow effect came from the carpet styled like an airport runway - I highly praise that. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The elevator was sometimes complicated. It often happens that another guest calls it, so we only managed to get to the garage on the third attempt. And this happened repeatedly. At breakfast, we picked up two more guests on different floors before we even got from the first floor to the reception. When leaving, we preferred to use the stairs. The elevator is activated by room key card.

Despite being the cheapest option in the area, the hotel is spotlessly clean, fully equipped and renovated, the staff is great. I specifically enjoyed the design, being an aviation freak, I loved the airport/airplane theme. Beds are comfy, water pressure in the shower is good (dealbreaker for me! :D ) Really close to the airport! 25 mins walk or 15 mins by the train - perfect location. Breakfast is also great, with many sweet and salty options so everyone finds their taste.

Comfortable; clean; great breakfast; convenient

We had asked for connecting rooms. The connecting room door was closed and the key the staff had didn’t work on the door. After waiting over an hour, and after trying several keys on a large key chain on 4 different floors, the staff found a room that he was able to open the connecting door of rooms on a different floor. The staff member persevered and saved the date. But management had not left any resources or support for the staff member to contact to find the right key. It was all his own initiative and perseverance that he was able to sold our problem and find a functioning connecting room.

Room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, Rituals liquid soap available, breakfast was really good with a variety of fruit, bread, warm and cold options. It's not far from Stuttgart city center and the train stop is very close. I would definitely recommend, great value for money.

WiFi was not working. For a one night stay that's fine, but it might be a problem if you are staying for more days.

I liked the flexibilty hotel had to accomodate almost every request I had (bodyweight scale apart). I liked the location where hotel was so close to metro (10min by walking) or to the train station (5mins by walking). I chose Dorint Stuttgart hotel 'cause I had to go to ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart every day. Those locations are really close thanks to public services I've spoken above. Essential by Dorint Stuttgart/Airport was an awesome accomodation 'cause I could have booked it in advance without paying money as soon as my booking was confirmed. I payed my staying at the reception. Price was okay but a little bit expensive oriented.

As a fitness guy I was so disappointed when I noticed there were no almonds or walnuts in breakfast room. Essential by Dorint Stuttgart/Airport keeps sending messages on your Booking account writing in German only.

We knew the hotel from a previous stay which was very enjoyable. We like the hotel's design and the accessibility to the highway. The room was very big and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciate the amenities on offer and the attention to detail.

Different from our previous experience, this time we had an issue with the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs in the bathroom and on the bed.

Safe underground parking (19 euros extra payment but it's peace in my mind the car stays safe), parking linked with reception and floors, nice breakfast, 5 minutes away from airport

The parking barrier was not working all the time, I had to get a new ticket to exit. But the receptionist said they are aware of the issue and will resolve it. We had to scan the room card inside the elevator to get to our floor...
