I made it a point to personally speak to and engage the hotel's staff as I encountered each of them; front desk lady, maintenance man, housekeeping lady and the restaurant lady. I found them all to be polite, kind, very friendly and helpful. The front desk lady greeted me as I entered and approached the front desk. She smiled frequently and made me feel comfortable during check-in. I asked about the surrounding area. She answered my questions without rushing through her responses. My accessible room was very clean and well stocked with coffee supplies, toiletries and linen. The maintenance man was pleasant, friendly and smiled during my contact with him about the tv remote. The house keeper lady was pleasant and spoke each time that we passed by each other. The best and most surprising encounter occurred on Sunday morning during breakfast. The area was very clean and kept clean throughout the breakfast period by "the restaurant lady". When a guest spilled something she came to them immediately, smiling and cleaning up the spill which eased the tension of the guest. The menu consisted of a wide variety of delicious foods, to include: hot cooked foods, cereals, muffins, danishes, fresh fruits, yogurt, toast and bagels. Breakfast also included the usual assortment of coffees, juices, tea and hot chocolate. Please not that no pre-made sandwiches listed, which was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast bar was continuously being re-stocked with fresh food. She was a one-woman machine. I have nothing negative to say about my stay.

Not so much what I didn't like, but a suggestion. All remote controls need to have the numbers 1 through 0 instead of a remote with only the UP & DOWN option, as my ROKU remote did. It was very difficult to operate and select a desired program from the continuously scrolling menu guide, which is what prompted my contact with the maintenance man. The remote did not offer a PAGE + or - option for me to operate at my pace. I finally just turned the TV off.

Location and exterior of building might be alarming, but boy oh boy was this a comfortable stay. Room was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable l. No shortage of pillows either! AC was nosiest but strong. Breakfast was solid: waffles, oatmeal, pastries etc. standard for your hotel.

The team that checked us in. Great. The gentleman named Oscar. Wasn’t professional and also disrespectful. Wasn’t a joy to work with. Was going to take business elsewhere. But spoke to someone else. And there understanding of my needs.

All of the staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. It's a traveler's hotel so everything, with two exceptions, was what I expected. The pool and patio were nice. Most of the equipment in the exercise room was fairly new and worked well. Breakfast was pretty good. Coffee is really good.

The toilet in #124 didn't flush. Housekeeping notified maintenance who plunged/snaked it out. It flushed once properly and went back to not flushing. It was late at night and I was exhausted, so instead, I used the toilet in the lobby. There's something wrong with the plumbing in #124. My other family members were in #104 and they had no complaints. Um, the exercise room has woefully inadequate ventilation.

Hot breakfast good with variety of items. Staff very accommodating when I asked for help with TV etc. Front Desk staff (Fran and Nancy on duty during my stay) were personable and helpful with making my stay pleasant. A convenient and pleasant place to stay in Bradenton FL

Need a Spectrum TV control for convient and fast channel changing. Such a minor thing LOL

Breakfast was a little above the normal hotel breakfast. The problem was the pancake machine was not reliable. One morning it worked,that evening an out of order sign was put on it, next morning, it worked. Final morning sign said it was being sent to manufacturer for repair. Rest of breakfast items were more than adequate!

The attitude of one of the main receptionist. She couldn’t find my reservation. I at first couldn’t remember which site I booked with. When I found it, she had booked me with a regular reservation. I am a member of the Best Western hotel rewards. I asked if she could bring it up on the hotel computer. She looked at the reservation she had done & said “NO”. I said that I forgot to bring it but the computer system for Best Western should have it. After all, they advertise their reward points never expire. I did not want to be a pain in the neck, I let it go. So please see if you can find my rewards number so I can get credit for those three nights!

Fred the man that checked us in was super nice and very helpful! He assisted us several times during our stay and was the one that really made our stay what it was. Thank you Fred!!!

We loved our one night stay. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, the free breakfast was delicious and the employee at the counter deserves a raise, he was very nice and very attentive. The location of the hotel is perfect too. We're definitely booking another stay at this hotel.
