Good location. Right next to University. I saw girls walking dogs after dark and elderly walking to the gas station after dark. It's pretty safe spot. There are homeless people but they don't engage and cause zero problems. We were probably the youngest group there and we are approaching 50 w/teenagers. Avg age of everyone else we saw? 65+. It does say if they are comfortable staying there its a safe place. Room was clean. About the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen. Not a single water spot on the shower door.

It doesn't look like a safe neighborhood at 1st glance. But it is. Also advertises breakfast. But not really. Old people stand in the office and drink coffee and talk. Which is great! It means it's safe! But...no breakfast good enough for teenage boys.

Person at reception was nice and supportive.

Some guy outside smoked weed and I felt it all in my room . I'm not smoker so it's wasn't pleasant sleep and smell weed. In description was mentioned that breakfast is included but on place they explained that it's not true and arround is plenty of places where I can go do breakfast with my money. Choosed place because it's mention breakfast included like normal food not wending machine stuff. I was tired and found parking and paid so didn't want to go to other places

I like that the rooms are actually updated, the bathroom is super nice, the pillows were comfy. The AC worked good too and so did the mini fridge. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! And the pool feels really nice!!

The room is pretty small compared to some other hotels I've stayed at. Which made it a little tricky having my two-year-old, cuz he didn't have a lot of room to run around. But other than that everything was great

I stayed at this hotel the night of April 18th. We booked this room because my partner had to go in for heart surgery the next morning, and the water in my condo complex was not working. He needed a place to shower before going to the hospital, so even though we live in town, we had to find a hotel at the last minute. We asked for a ground floor room because of his health. The wonderful woman on the front desk called me in the early afternoon to tell me a ground floor room was not going to be availble due to a burst pipe. She said we could have a second floor room, but it was a smoking room, so would not smell great. She had gone to the trouble to find us a room elsewhere in Colorado Springs, which I think was above and beyond what I could have hoped for! There were hardly any rooms left in the whole town due to some NASA event being held in town. But she, by golly, called around until she found us one. Since the hotel she found for us was not in an area I wanted to stay in, we opted for the second floor room, and she aired had it out for us. I can tell you that, in all my years of traveling, I have never felt better cared for. I cannot remember her name, but this woman is a real gem! She really cared about our situation. She took a personal interest in making sure we had the best situation possible, given our medical reasons for being there. Id I had a business (which I don't because I am retired), I would steal this woman away from you and hire her! The woman that checked us out on April 19th was also delightful. She was friendly and kind. Our room was clean and had everything in it that we needed.

This is an older property, so it is a bit frayed around the edges. I do not mind this, but I wanted to include this comment in the review, so people would not be surprised.

Room was clean, had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was close to downtown where in was working for the weekend but in a quiet area

Pillows were a bit big but wasn’t too bad

The location was great and the staff when I checked in was super friendly. The room was cleanedish and the bed was comfortable.

The exhaust fan In the bathroom was extremely loud.

The staff was excellent, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Really helped me out a couple of times.

It's Econo Lodge so you know what to expect. The place was clean, just really needs an overall update/upgrade I'd say.

Great location easy to walk to a lot of good restaurants and very friendly staff.

Pool was alittle dirty.

No breakfast. Only snacks. Why advertise that breakfast included when it only snacks. They need to update that information.

Very close to downtown and the bus station.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but didn't bother me.
