It was a nice welcome to the property at the first approach. The room was clean but it needed a bit of updating specially with the air conditioner as it was making so much noise specially at night. We asked to change the room for downstairs as it was not comfortable to sleep at night but apparently was not possible as we were told that property was fully booked … The staff was trying to be helpful but was not so enthusiastically supportive . Olive garden is a nice feature to the property. There is a swimming pool, just the water there doesn’t feel so refreshing .The breakfast area was big enough and had reasonable selection of food. The serving lady there was always positive and helpful. .

The cleaning service was split in 4 days with different service option each day😇

The location was perfect, right across from one of our favorite beaches in Crete, close to many small restaurants along the beach. The grounds and garden were beautiful with vibrant flowers and trees for shade. The pool is enormous and a great reprieve in the evening with a small poolside bar. Perfect atmosphere for relaxing and unwinding. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, we had a double adjacent room, and which worked out great for my family of 4.

Staff are exceptional, particularly Chrissoula and Nikos incredibly professional and take great pride in their work. The location is quiet with some great restaurants for evening and lunch snacks. There is a beach literally a 5 min walk away which has a handy beach bar and deck chairs. Spread your sunbathing across two locations with minimal effort. We went with three adults and 4 children the handy breakfast option was great when you didn't want to venture out in the mornings and the pool is bigger than the picture let's on good for both adults and kids.the mini all inclusive can be done as a pay as you go which is also a nice touch, selected drinks all in for 12 euro and simple cake and baguette from 4.30 I'd recommend this place simple and traditional for a good price. Lovely grounds, surrounded by mature olive trees which is well kept, a true taste of Greece.

Not so much didn't like, but improvements and additions. Live music nights More choice of food during day Evening food Kids slide or play area BBQ nights Service to deck chairs! Maybe I'm mega lazy :) All of these things could easily be added. Lack of food choices meant we needed to venture out midday if we wanted to spend the day at the pool.

literally a straight 50 meters walk to swimming on the beach. The staff is excellent, the suite is spartan but cozy. I am a solo traveler with minimalist needs, so I really wanted silence and a place to write. And I got that, so I am happy.

I cannot say that I really did not like something, but this hotel is built for a type of EU Nordic tourist so it is a bit overpriced for the rest of us :) and offers amenities -such as drinking packages and pre-processed ingredients in the food- that do not apply to naturally healthy humans like me ... The kitchenette could be better fitted for actual cooking. The road can get noisy sometimes if you have the windows open. The internet is a bit slow at times.

We really enjoyed our stay! Staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast was really nice, and rooms are comfortable and with nice view!

Rooms were comfortable but some future renovations/ upgrades would be good! Rooms were very clean but would appreciate if room cleaning/ making beds would be more regular!

All people working there were ultra helpful, kind and eager to help. The location was great. Own parking area just behind the hotel with direct access. The place on its own is beautiful and you can see they’ve done lots of work to keep it cosy. The garden is amazing, the pool is very big and clean, with natural shade around it from the olive trees. Our room was on ground floor and we had a small garden which was very nice and made you want to sit at night to have a drink there. The room was big enough for 3-4 people, cool and fully equipped. Nice bed for long stay. We will definitely rebook when we visit makri-gialos next time.

Super friendly Staff, wide variety of ingredients for breakfast, location close to sea & within walking distance to village & restaurants, nice pool with Pool-Bar Atmosphere where you get that people like what they do!

Like a well kept secret, Village is rustic but special. Very relaxed hotel which lends itself to a very relaxed holiday. Chrisoulla and Nicos are honestly the secret ingredients to this place and I have no idea how the business would cope without them!! Room(s) were ideal for our family of 4 with neighbouring front doors and a shared exit. Lunches were lovely

Classic Greek style. Great location, across the street from the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Big swimming pool and bar next to the pool. Amazing garden. Ideal for families with small children.

villea village is a small friendly resort in a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and efficient and the accommodation is spotlessly clean.
