We went here for a short trip (4 days) in May of 2024. I traveled here before in 2017 but came back for a second trip! There is so much to see at this island. The hotel is located near the Catania airport so it was a short commute to the hotel, witch is perfect to spend more time enjoying yourself instead of spending it in traffic. (it can be busy around Catania) The hotel staff is very friendly, 10/10. A big shout-out to Daniel the cocktail master. Very friendly and recognize you, and remembers what you like. So if you are in for a great cocktail, let him do his thing and you will not regret it! When we where visiting they where busy with renovating the balconies. But they did a good job to close the rooms that where up for renovation. We did not have any inconvenience, and I think it is a good thing they are keeping up the building! Everything is very clean, no dust in sight. Rooms are good, not spectacular, but who spends their vacation 24/7 in a hotel room? Airconditioning etc is good, beds are perfect (ex hernia patient, no problem with this bed) When you login to the WiFi it opens a page of the hotel, you can see all the information you are looking for. For example, room-service, laundry service, prices of items in the mini-bar, time frame for the breakfast buffet, etc... Speaking of the breakfast buffet... This is why I came back here! This is so incredible. If you want to eat healthy or you like something sweet, it is all there. Also lactose free and gluten free options. Go here if you like a relaxing environment. And if you want to go to Catania or Taormina, the taxi is there in 5 minutes. (really 5 minutes, mostly quicker) Taxi to Catania, +/- 20 euro. Taxi to Taormina +/- 120 euro. Also public transport near the hotel (bus stop) for a cheaper option. But we like convenience so did everything by taxi. TIP: book an Etna tour! We will be back here for a 3rd time for sure.

Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious. Staff was incredible. We had some issues with the room and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Both the restuarant staff and reception staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasureable.

They should have elcectircal outlets on both sides of the bed. There was a plumbing problem and they tried to fix a few times but eventually we requested to move to another room. Location of hotel was conventinally only 10 mintutes from airport and also only 10 mintues to the town but there were no restaurants walking distance from hotel.

Beachfront and a pretty compound. It’s a tiny bit close to the city centre and kind of walkable if you’re someone who likes trekking because there’s a lot of traffic and also don’t rely on public transportation because the timetable is wrong

The pool was closed. I was expecting it to be open because that was the main reason why I chose the hotel. I wish they had given a heads up before booking. the breakfast, I would give 6/10 because it wasn’t so great. the toilet was clean (manageable) I was expecting a shower but I got a bath and there were no doors also the bidet was wobbly so I couldn’t sit on it because I was scared of breaking it.

This is a comfortable, well appointed hotel, which is very convenient for Catania Airport. (Only 10 minutes drive away.) We booked a sea-view room with balcony. We arrived about an hour early but kindly, the staff were still able to check us in straight away. The restaurant was fine, though only open 8pm-9.30pm. Breakfast was great with an extensive selection. Check out was really swift which helped us get to the airport on time. Parking is available on site. All staff were friendly and professional.

The only real downside of this hotel is it's surroundings, which clearly it can't change. Whilst being close to the airport is helpful (And really not noisy), the seafront in Catania here is very depressing. Possibly things look better in high season, but in April everything was closed and run down. We did pop into one trattoria but came out and chose to eat in the hotel.

The hotel had it’s own pool and beach access which was super nice. They also had an included towel service, so you could get a new towel after a sandy beach day! Also the staff was really helpful and kind. It is close to the airport, but we couldn’t even hear the planes in the evening!

One thing that was a bit tricky was the A/C in the room. The only way to turn it off was if you called reception. It would have been nice to be able to turn it on and off on our own.

The facilities, and staff were wonderful. It's a wonderful place to relax, including the beach across the road. The breakfast was expansive and tasty. Thanks to all. We would recommend it if you've a stopover in Catania.

Given the location, with access to wonderful fresh fish, the restaurant/ bar menu was mediocre. The prices for food and drink seemed steep. €30 for a 4km taxi drive from the airport seemed extortionate. It would be good if the hotel sent a shuttle bus. There's a number of hotels along the strip, I'm sure they could pool together for a shuttle.

Fabulous hotel Super clean Air conditioned throughout Pool area is wonderful. Comfortable sun loungers. Towel provided. Relaxing music. Drinks service to you at your lounger or table. Chairs/sofas around pool very comfortable Pool has walk in steps so very easily accessible Private beach. Didn't visit this as pool was so nice. This was opposite across the road Room was spacious. Bed was huge. Pillows so comfortable. Gorgeous balcony area with table and two chairs Breakfast is amazing. Cereals, bread, rolls, cheese, meats, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cakes,water, juices, range of hot drinks, eggs, bacon, vegetables. Was delicious. Prosecco on offer too as well as granita which was delicious Laundry service was quick and brilliant. Reasonably priced too Staff were all exceptional and super helpful Bus stop directly in front of hotel. 10 minutes to centre of Catania If you got a taxi or uber this was around 20 euros depending where in Catania Would definitely go again to this hotel

A big plus was the breakfast, which was varied and very tasty. A great option was the sunbeds, both on the private beach and by the pool, included in the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served good food. It’s about 3 km to the center – you can get there by bus or scooter. A great place if you’re thinking about combining relaxation with sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed at NH Catania Parco degli Aragonesi for one night due to its convenient location close to the airport, and we were pleased with our choice. The hotel's proximity to the airport made our travel plans seamless and stress-free. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment for us to unwind after our extraordinarily long flight from Australia. Despite being near the airport, we were pleasantly surprised that we weren't affected by any airport noise and enjoyed a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There were many options to choose from, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast by the pool, which added a lovely touch to our morning. The staff at NH Catania Parco degli Aragonesi were friendly and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed during our short stay. Their hospitality contributed to our positive experience. Overall, NH Catania Parco degli Aragonesi provided a convenient and comfortable stay, perfect for travellers needing a restful night near the airport.

Given the hotels proximity to the airport it would be good if the Hotel offered a free shuttle service, or a set fee taxi service. The taxi drivers overcharged us, and it was a ridiculous the amount of Euros we were charged for the short trip to the hotel, both ways, they quote you one price when you book the taxi and charge you another price at the end. Taxi drivers take advantage because we're tourists.

The staff were friendly, hotel and room were clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was exceptionally clean. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room too. There was a variety of breakfasts available in a nice setting overlooking the pool. Pool was clean and beach just over the road was wonderful.

Had to move rooms for one night because of an aircon leak. It was fixed the next day.
