The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. We arrived very late due to flying home from holiday and we were very tired. We got a late check out and we thought breakfast was until 10.30 so we missed it and the brought pastries to our room which was so kind. It eased our stay so much before we had to drive home.

We have stayed at this Holiday inn a few times now and it is always very clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are always very friendly and will be on hand to help and nothing is a problem. We will always book here when we stay in this area. It's the best Holiday inn I've stayed inn.

This is a Beautiful Hotel, considering it's Quite close to a Reasonably busy main Road, after you drive up to the Reception, you are in the Country, There's a Lovely Fountain ⛲ ( Water feature) just adjacent to the Reception and Beautiful period Lamposts around the parking.... A Gorgeous Cherry 🍒 Tree as you drive up the Entrance all adds to the feeling.... A Fabulous Team, work really well here to deliver a Great stay....So polite, a Quick and easy check in at Reception, we had a Lovely Room.... Spotlessly Clean.... Fantastic Shower 🚿... Breakfast is Served between 07.30- 10am... as this was a Bank Holiday... Fantastic options for Breakfast ( all Self -Service) Breakfast Staff are on Duty to ensure that everything is fine, Steph... was the Morning Duty Lead on the Breakfast as we went to Eat....She was Fantastic...Going ( Above and Beyond) to sort out an issue with the Coffee machine.... There was a Delicious choice of Cereals, Fresh fruits, yogurts, Pastries to choose from, followed by a Hot Buffet ( self service) of Bacon, sausages, Choice of Eggs, Beans.... Very Tasty, Hot and Delicious 😋..... Thank you so much....

There was an event on the night we stayed which meant as hotel residents we didn't have a car parking space and were made to park in the gravel, large pothole, not the greatest car park next door. Didnt help that some guests had parked across two spaces. Just found it a little rude considering the price of the stay. It wouldn't put me off staying again this time as I assumed it was a one off but just a consideration for the hotel management.

The location was easy to find. The room was big enough and the spare bed was laid out in anticipation, this was a really nice touch. I was also able to check out 2 hours later which was was very helpful.

I waited longer that neccessary for check-in, this was because someone skipped the line and the lady at reception did not correct it. Not an issue as she was helpful, I just feel that could have been handled better. Breakfast on sunday ended too early at 9:30am.

lovley room, really comfy big bed, great breakfast, nice easy parking, brilliant hotel, rooms feel luxury really really impressed by the customer service we received from JAMIE the night manager - one of the best we’ve experienced. he’s very friendly and helpful and deserves a raise if not already!

disappointed with Bassam who aggressively knocked on our door at 11am and didn’t check the note Jamie left that we had 12pm check out because we signed up to be holiday inn members. Very unprofessional at the door almost arguing with my husband.

The room was BIG and nice Staff were nice and friendly even in the restaurant Also I woke up late and went past check out time but they were really nice about it! Bathroom was really good too

Please make sure you get your bedding changed everyday I stayed for 4 days and got bites on my body when I told reception they changed my bedding and I had no more marks after that. I did tell staff to take plates from my room after room service three times but they didn’t so I placed it outside my door and someone still didn’t pick it up. But when I went downstairs again the staff came upstairs with me and took the plates and made sure my bed was changed so I appreciate desk staff being nice. TV doesn’t work

Staff were very friendly and helpful as reported elsewhere and room was very clean and tidy. Good value for a Holiday Inn.

Some parts a little dated, but only real let down was breakfast. Bacon and eggs so tough I could barely cut it, under the heat lamps far too long and wasn’t refreshed the during the time I ate. And that was 8:30 so hardly the tail end of the session.

I stayed in a room which was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bar was very nice. The location suited us fine. We didn’t have a car with us but there was a bus stop a very short walk from the hotel.

The bathroom was a little cramped. The mashed potato we were served in the bar was not at all good but they gave us some delicious chunky chips to replace it when we asked.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and a good size. Everything was clean and the restaurant on site was excellent although a little expensive.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but the 'gym' isn't a gym, it's a small fitness room and only really suitable for one person at a time. The food was good but a little expensive.

Good location between Oldham & Ashton-u-Lyne. breakfast excellent,good parking.

Found the room to be a little cold, tried to up the temperature on the thermostat but to no avail. But my main complaint was having to pay an extra £50 returnable deposit after paying on line in full 2 weeks previously and then having to contact the hotel twice to refund the deposit.
