Hotel Epidamn is in the main street of Durres (which is closed down for cars between 19.00 and 23.00 in case you arriving with a car) and so very close to everything in Durres. They take care of parking of your car. We booked the Executive suite, which is a little bit more expensive, but well worth the money. The room is on the top floor (5th) has a classical appearance, is very spacious, a seperate bath with gold details in the room, which my gf loved. The room is very quiet and we slept very well. It also had a large balcony, with a very nice view! We liked the reataurant very much, very good food and very nice drinks. The hotel can look expensive from the outside, but that's not the case. Good quality for very ok money. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. We loved staying here and would absolutely come back.

We stayed three days and everything was perfect.

Good breakfast concept: choice between various dishes. This maintains some form of exclusivity and avoids the general "all you can eat"-vibe that somethimes exists in larger hotels/resorts.

We don't really have a big point of critique, save for the fact that it was not known to us beforehand that, during our stay, the maids were only present in the mornings. If we had known that, we would have adapted our plans to allow for the rooms to be cleaned every day, but this was a very minor detail. We were informed about this after we asked, so no real issue.

We simply fell in love with the Executive Suite, its opulent decor, in-room bathtub and spacious balcony (with a view of the sunset too). The staff was the next best thing - everyone was professional, friendly and spoke good English. Super helpful. We asked a question about some cultural parade that passed through the boulevard and the front desk staff made sure to find out and let us know what it was. The restaurant staff was also very attentive. The Turkish bath could be used for free and was beautiful. Parking was a breeze. Wish we had booked a longer stay! Highly recommended.

A breathtakingly beautiful hotel located in a tree lined street, in the historic centre of Durres. Hotel Epidamn is furnished with gorgeous antique furniture, parquet floors, plush furnishings and chandeliers. The lovely restaurant overlooks the street where you can watch the world go by or retreat to a stunning, sun dappled courtyard and enjoy the delicious food. The hotel itself is spotless, has great Wi-fi, all mod cons, and there is a spa too. However, the jewel in the crown are the warm, helpful staff including Megi on reception. A treasure.

The hotel is high-quality, with good services on the main street of Durres, in a great location. The room is comfortable, the bathroom is fine, the breakfast is interesting, and the restaurant is of high quality.

In my opinion, the hotel is kitschy. Plasterboard decorations are excessive, and almost everything feels like an imitation of real elegance. My biggest problem was the unusually loud music at night, which was not dampened in any way by the windows, which seemed to be otherwise demanding. What's more, this music came from the ground floor of our own hotel: while the entire main street was quiet, the hotel's ground-floor speakers were blasting dozens of music until late at night.

Everything. Beautiful hotel. Exceptional staff. Fabulous decor. Comfortable beds. Free use of the hammam. Lovely restaurant. Will most definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Durres.

We were on first floor. Music from restaurant could be heard till 10 pm but was really no issue. Was not overly loud and very nice music played so I had no problem. I actually enjoyed lying in bed listening to it. Others might, so when booking ask for alternative room. Please don't let this put you off staying at the Epidamn Hotel as it is fantastic value for money.

The staff are very welcome and friendly. The location is perfect if you're not going to do beach activities. In the centre everything is just near the shopping area and the sea side is just walking around 10 min . They have amazing restaurant in the hotel. The room has a balcony on the centre. The bed is comfortable . Also, there is a mini bar

The equipment in the room should have cattle for coffee and tea. This is my only comment.

The location was great with a beach 15 min walk away. The room was quirky and very nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious and it was great that there was a little garden outside. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The spa was very basic - just one steam room. I wouldn't recommend the massages either, not worth it and not done in a private room - people kept walking past on their way from reception to the steam room.

Good location in the centre of Durres, staff were both friendly and professional. The room was functional and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay and would use again. Dave and Sal Yorks

Everything was fine although the breakfast although very good was limited to one cup of coffee one glass of fruit juice. I appreciate it was good quality, however an extra cup of coffee would have been great.

Excellent service provided by a staff that provided all of our needs and beyond!

I would like information about the AC wich got automatic shutdown while balkonydoors were open.
