The location was good, super market near the place, no parking at all, the room was clean and comfortable, toilet was clean and good

Breakfast, they need to work on this, as it was in the restaurant near to the hotel, you need to pick one option from the menu plus one drink, it was not enough for us so we had to order extra food and pay for it however it was not expensive but worth to mention that it’s not open buffet breakfast and they need to mention this in advance! But the waiter was nice and he gave us some useful information

What was there not to like? Everything was beyond our expectations, starting with the room, the location, the food, the people, all was excellent. We spent a week at Morfeus and to be honest I was a bit skeptical given the mixed reviews but there was nothing to dislike about it. The room was spacious and very clean and the hotel is located right across the beach. The restaurant where breakfast is served is right after the hotel and the food there was delicious. You can choose between eggs and bacon, omelet, toast sandwich and a mix of toast, cheese and jam (my favorite). We also had dinner there in a couple of evenings and the food was great. The price for a family dinner (2 adults and 1 child) for antipasta, main and drinks was around 30-40eur. The staff was young, helpful and very friendly, as well as the hotel/restaurant owner.

All was excellent

Room was new in moderen style with nice ambient and all facilities you need. Beds were comfortable, matress was qualitty. Downstairs are lokal with food and drinks. You can order many local food from fishes, pica and other cousin. Chocholade muss with ice cream was perfect. Staff are young and very nice to manage our stay. There we have tastefull breakfast from menu and refreshment in the room. It is about 15 minutes by walk to center along beach with bars and restaurant to see attractions. You can admire the moderen hotels. Accomodation is on the first line by the beach with bars and restaurants. Albania and Durres impres as as a modern turist place with night life.

+ Nice room with seaview, across the street from the beach. Cleaned daily. Even the room slippers were changed daily. A 20-minute walk from the Roman Amphitheater and the Venetian Tower. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. New furniture. Efficient air conditioning, great water pressure.

- No mosquito nets. Breakfast starts at 8.30 and is à la carte, so it takes about 30 minutes for your food to come. It’s very tasty, but it takes up the better part of your morning (best case scenario, you’ll be at the beach at 9.30 — in the summer, the sun becomes unbearable from 11.30-12.00). Hotel staff barely speak a word of English. Don’t expect a receipt. Loud music until late from the numerous bars on the street. Not the hotel’s fault, but the street, beach and water are dirty. Stray dogs everywhere. In the heat of the day, foul odors from the garbage bins left open in the scorching sun.

Everything was clean, people were nice and the breakfast at the restaurant next door was very good. We ended up eating almost every meal there.

When we booked the room it said it had a terrace, but it wasn't for the room. There is a terrace upstairs you can enjoy. The room has a small window and almost no sunlight gets in, and you have to climb on the bed to manage to open it.

Lovely hotel a minute from a beach.. Its very modern inside and the shower and bed were lovely! Staff were extremely friendly and helped me organise my taxi to the bus station in the morning. I also really recommend the restaurant downstairs - food was delicious! Special thanks to the owner Genti who offered to send me up some orange juice when I arrived as I was very tired and hungover! Definitely recommend this place!

The breakfast was very lovely and tasted nice. Staff were very polite and helpful.

I didn’t like the fact that there were no lifts to the hotel because carrying a child stroller everytime through the flight of stairs was exhausting . Also the room I was given didn’t have a view of the ocean even though I asked.

Hotel Morfeus in Durres is known for its outstanding cleanliness. The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable, not your usual formal hotel crew. They go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Plus, the location is a game-changer – right in front of Zins, so you're practically steps away from all the cool stuff. Also the breakfast is very good. If you want a worry-free stay with a side of awesome, Morfeus is the place to be.

We didn't expect such a modern and clean 3-star hotel in Albania; highly recommended.

When I book a quadruple room, I expect either two beds or a sofa bed with one bed. Not a simple sofa that two people have to sleep on. It was okay for one night, but not for more than that.

A beautiful modern room with a wonderful view of the sea. A 3-minute walk to the sea. Downstairs there is a beautiful cozy NEPS restaurant where you can eat deliciously. By the way, breakfasts are included and extremely tasty and large portions. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. A real home atmosphere is felt.
