Excellent hotel with old beautiful architecture of Durres and nice interior design. The location is wonderful and ideal to discover the city, as it's located on the most beautiful avenue in the city, close to Venecian Tower, Port, Amphitheater, Waterfront and Center. It's the third time we come here and we are generally very pleased with the excellent cleanliness, the service and the friendly staff . Both times we had a balcony with a great view.

The last time we were put in a room at the back that didn't have a view & the breakfast was simple and poor, not too much to choose. One star less only for the breakfast.

Lovely spacious room. Bright and stylish with high ceilings. Very comfortable King size bed plus single. Lovely outlook over the square. Only 5 min walk to free public parking area, next to the ocean - beware the scammers who try to tell you to pay them. (Note: street in front of hotel is closed from 7 pm to 11 pm each day - you can't leave your car there). Great breakfast incl a proper cappuccino.

Need to carry your bags up stairs - no lift.

The hotel is good. Place also was Ok, as I have travelled with colleague (lived in other hotel) and we had a car to go where is necessary. It is difficult to find place to park in this area, but it was manageable. The staff was helpful. The hotel don't have lift but staff takes care to bring your luggage.

The breakfast is simple, not too much to choose. Warm food - only boiled eggs.

Location The size of the triple room and the view Breakfast - continental but everything was fresh, good quality and great cappuccino. Cleaness All the people from the staff were polite, willing to accomodate any request.

This comment is about Booking.com and is not a reflection on the hotel at all. There is NO FREE PARKING at this hotel however there is plenty of free street parking close by

The room was very clean, and the big bathroom , bottle of water when entered cubs for make a tea or coffee ,kettle,.small fridge ,disposable slippers, and a good location close to restaurants ,centrum .

To short stay 😀

A tall elegant old building, which means that the rooms (in my case second floor) are up a lot of stairs. Staff will help carry bags if you wish. Though on a main central street, my room was at the side (at the end of the corridor nearer the centre of town direction) and was pretty quiet. Best to ask the staff about parking also, I tried to find parking myself and wasted quite a lot of time doing so. The location is very good, only a five or six minute walk from the main square. At the time I visited however bars and restaurants in the centre were closing relatively early, so don't leave it too late to go out for dinner or drinks, and popular places may be busy. Breakfast at Veliera was simple and fine. I think I remember that the room even had a kettle :-).

It was hot when I visited and I struggled to get the room temperature right. Probably best to balance having windows open when cool and using air conditioning to bring the temperature down a little when you need to.

Perfect localisation directly in the city centre on the main street. Room is nice and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

The receptionist had a very good command of English. Was very polite and friendly

Not enough tea or coffee in the room :(

I messaged the hotel beforehand, they replied really fast. from the moment I arrived, till I left everyone was perfect. the staff is lovely, helpful, always there to assist you in whatever you need! they were a huge part of why I loved Durrës, Albania! the location is perfect!
