Excellent experience! Flexible location with nice view, easy access to multiple beaches, restaurants and other entertainment spots, clean interior and rooms, delicious homemade breakfast and incredibly lovely hosts. Our rooms were cleaned up daily starting from fresh sheets going to sparkly wiped shower and sink. Hosts were kind and super sweet, helping with any concern and adjusting to our preferences. Breakfast table gets cleaned out once every guest is out unlike some places where u have to rush out of the room at 10 am. If you look for a relaxing holiday with pleasant experiences, this is a great choice. Thank you, Vila Doka !

Hosts didn't seem to be expecting us, and we were initially met with speculation. The language barrier didn't help. The room wasn't ready for totally ready but they quickly brought towels and cotbed etc. The hosts ended up being lovely and we had a nice stay, the room was clean and breakfast was nice.

Lots of mosquitos, take protective measures. Shower temperature was very awkward. Kept changing from very cold to very hot within seconds when we didnt turn the knob. Which was hard bathing a baby. Fridge wasn't very effective. We used the small freezer section to keep our drinks cool. We had a car so it was not an issue for us but note for others considering booking this villa: the villa is on top of a very large hill, so walking there would be quite a trek.

Everything was perfect - from reservation to check out. Received an immediate confirmation after the reservation that the room will be ready by midday. When I showed up (earlier) I was greeted with a warm welcome. It is a family run business from very kind humans. They made the room ready in ten minutes. The room was cozy and clean. All the necessary amenities were in place. TV and AC worked as they should. The sea view from the balcony was awesome! The area is calm and peaceful at night. Very lively during the day made by the wonderful kids. Ate a very delicious breakfast and enjoyed a very good espresso made by the old man. I wish Family Doka an abundance of health and wealth! I will come back!

Perhaps the only thing I disliked was walking to the beach and back. However this is not related to the facility, which is not far from one of the best beaches in Saranda (Mango Beach)

We liked everything about our staying at Villa Doka. Our room was super clean, we had a beautiful view over the sea, breakfast was very good, varied and plentiful even for a vegetarian like me. The location is great, 10 mins walk to some of the nicest beaches in Sarandë. Elisa and her family are amazing hosts, they went far and beyond in ordwe to help us with everything we needed. They helped us to rent a scooter without any effort from our part, they called at the bus station to double check the departure hours, they called us a taxi and many other kind gestures that we will appreciate forever. We are looking forward to come back here and we are already missing this place. There many supermarkets and shops just a couple of minutes from the accommodation, where you cand find anything you need and want to make the best out of your trip.

Breakfast very little and only 2 dishes received in 7 days. The distance to the sea is 500m, Mango beach having 3 slopes and 64 stairs to climb.

It's not something bad about the Vila, just a note to other travelers: I didn't have a car and felt adventurous enough to walk to the city center and back every day (read as "I walked for 50 mins [one way] up- and down-hill under 35 degrees heat"). Insane cardio, don't recommend, unless you are really into it.

Wonderful Stay – Excellent Staff! I had a great experience during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. What truly made the difference was the staff – everyone was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

View from our room was so amazing The staff was really really nice , the food also was so good and room service was excelent . I will definetly come back here ! We rented a car but the beach is not very far from the house ,and it was close to saranda center and ksamil so perfect location if you have a car.

the best place as I could get to know a bit of Albania. the hotel itself is located in a beautiful place close to nature and the beach. The owners of the hotel are very helpful, kind and hospitable. They made my stay even better! they showed me some Albanian culture, some tradition and their delicious food! going to Saranda, I recommend everyone to stay in this place and their holidays will be sunny! The cleanliness of the hotel is more than 10 stars as is the service. not all places care about their guests like Vila Doka! highly recommended will be back soon!!!

Very clean, well furnished room with a balcony with a great view to the ocean. Very diverse and plentifull breakfast on the outside. One of the few hotels where i could pay with card. The owners are very nice even though only the son talked english but they had everything explained in a card in the room. When i was leaving, the mother came running to me to offer me a rose from her garden calling me "beautifull girl", that melted my heart :) you will feel at home here.

The car access to the parking in the front of the hotel is a little steep but doable.
