The location and neighborhood were incredibly charming, safe, and full of great cafes, bars, bakeries, and delicious food. We loved being able to walk to many destinations, and most of the tourist spots we wanted to visit were just a short Uber ride away (10–20 minutes, typically $3–10), which made everything super convenient. Our bed was huge, we had an amazing view, and the interior design, including the bathroom felt modern, clean, and very comfortable. But most importantly, the hotel staff truly stood out. Everyone was incredibly attentive and friendly, helping us with reservations, recommendations, and local tips. A special shoutout to Ailen, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional.

There was a small LED light in the closet that stayed on at night, which we could see while trying to sleep, but it was a minor issue overall.

The staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, courteous. They went out of their way to update us on events in the city/country that might affect our travels (National Transportation strike, for example), and arranged transportation to the airport. We stayed at the hotel twice during our trip - once when we arrived in Buenos Aires, and again just before we flew home (4 nights total). On both stays, we arrived early, and our room was ready hours before the stated check-in time. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a great view to the street below. With the window closed, we heard no street noise. The breakfast was wonderful - lots of variety, including fruits, yogurt, granola, eggs, meats, pastries, etc. Ask for a cappuccino (or mocha cappuccino). We like to walk, and the hotel was ideally situated for exploring several different parts (districts) of the city. Finally, there were numerous restaurants, cafes, and small grocery stores in the vicinity of the hotel, which we found quite convenient. We would most definitely stay here again.

The only (minor) thing we noticed was that the small, carpeted areas outside the rooms looked a bit worn, but the rooms themselves were immaculate.

The hotel is centrally located and in a great area - quiet at night & away from the bustling tourist areas. There are a few great coffee shops and bars within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were incredible - very friendly, helpful, and polite upon every interaction. The hotel room itself was quite large and very comfortable - the bathroom was very large! The beds were firm but that was alright with us. Highly recommend staying here for a quiet, upscale feeling away from the hustle of the city.

Breakfast and room facilities in general. Excellent breakfast. Good supermarket around the corner and close by to a subway station.

Very slow elevator. Location is good if you plan to stick around Recoleta, but pretty far from Palermo (20min Uber) and the main restaurants area. Not much going in walkable distance, besides major hotel chains (Four Seasons etc) and embassies. Seems quite a business neighborhood, but we were for leisure so not ideal. For the price, definitely there are better options (at least in terms of location).

The Hotel was recommended on the "Guide du Routard" and it frankly exceeded our expectations from various point of view: the location is excellent to visit the main Buenos Aires center area (Retiro, Recoleta, Puerto Madero ...) without need of transport, it is close to bus terminal, metro and train and offers a quite wide options for dining in the evening at walking distance. the hotel infrastructure is well kept, the rooms are clean and well sound-isolated, the beds comfortable, wifi and tv signal perfectly working. Last, but absolutely not least, the reception staff is extremely attentive and professional. we arrived there after a long night bus and since our room was ready, we could check-in much earlier that planned. more that that they were providing all sort of information and promptly answering our various questions. Special thanks to the evening team that gave us a perfect dinner suggestions each night :D (and - cherry on the cake - I neve succeeded to open myself the front door ! :)

I highly recommend this hotel! Great customer service way above and beyond! Safe area and close to very important landmarks. Everything you need is near by. Everyone who works at Carles Hotel is amazing. I felt safe, welcomed and cared during my stay. Facilities are clean. Breakfast has variety and were so kind to provide me with GF, dairy free alternatives. I was nervous about finding to eat but they were so nice to offer some options. Thanks to EVERYONE at Carles! Definitely, I will be back in my next trip and will recommend to everyone who is looking for a place to stay. It’s 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around!

The overall experience was perfect, rating it as a 10 despite the minor inconveniences I mentioned here. The exceptional service from the staff far exceeded our expectations, they were transparent, fair, attentive, and helpful.

The hotel provides (as a courtesy) a free of charge 500ml bottle of water per room (room of two people), and they don't provide it if the last bottle is still unfinished. Additional bottles are available in the minibar, though much cheaper options can be bought on a supermarket. Also, we experienced occasional high noise from an air circulator, particularly disruptive in the middle of the night. However the staff promptly addressed the issue upon notification.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and well equipped. The staff was so friendly and helpful, starting as we checked in late at night with Taiel. Cecilia and Ignacio were also super helpful and appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with bacon, eggs, pastries, jams, juices, ham, cheese, and desserts.

The room was very pleasant, with perfect size and layout; the bedroom was conveniently situated as the furthest room. The furnishings were very good, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was well-equipped. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which made our stay exceptionally nice.

The window in the bedroom was not sealed very well, allowing some noise at night, but it was nothing too bothersome. The breakfast was fairly average, yet it included everything one might need.
