My room was great - comfortable bed, hot shower with a great bath, clean carpeted floor, shelves and drawers to put things, good lighting. Breakfast was a good buffet. Staff were really helpful and very friendly - a pleasure to interact with them. Wonderful view from the dining / lounge area. Nice relaxed quiet atmosphere.

I didn't like paying 20,000 ars for a small load of washing. You get wifi for one hour and then it goes off and you have to wait 30 minutes before you can log in again. I didn't understand why they do that. It was a half hour walk down to town - fine on a sunny no wind day, grueling on a cold windy day. But then you can always get a taxi.

The whole property smelled so beautiful! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast was tasty and was good for the price you paid. The staff were talkative & attentive and the views are lovely. The beds were quite hard and the walls are thin so depending on who is in the rooms around you depends on how much noise you hear. Sometimes the outside lights were kept on meaning that our room was illuminated at night, impacting sleep. The hotel is out of some pick up catchment areas for certain tours but it’s only a 10-15 min walk away from the bus stop if you’re willing & able.

Quiet neighborhood not too far from city center. The location works best if you have a car. Good value for the cost. Comfortable.

Water pressure was inconsistent and hot water ran out after a minute or so. Our room was right next to where they serve bfast so it was very noisy in the morning. No sleeping in past 630am. The heater in our room didn’t work but there were extra blankets so we stayed warm through the night.

Very nice, room for very large and very comfortable bed, warm and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and very nice and helpful stuff! A bit out from the main busy street of Calefate town but very accessible walking 10/15 minutes to town. Truly recommend!!!

All good! Only bad thing the room walls must to be very thin as you hear everything from other rooms, mostly when other guests are using the bathroom

Agustin, the reception host was amazing! We had a great time talking with him, he was very patient and kind <3 overall staff friendliness was amazing. The place had a wonderful rustic vibe but was very clean and nice, decor was cool. The location wasn't bad, it is just a 20min walk to the main town area (which is pretty nice after a full belly) beautiful view from the lodge also.

Honestly was just the bed. My partner has a bad back so wasn't the greatest. My super power is sleeping so was all good.

Our stay was simply excellent! The lodge was super nice, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and clean. The view from the guest area was spectacular. The best part was the staff- knowledgeable, very friendly, seeming to truly enjoy being there and smiling all the time. They helped us to pick and organized for us the tour to the glacier, which we enjoyed a lot. Thank you, Blue Lodge! You’re doing it right 👍

It’s a bit distant from the downtown but for us it was not a problem- a nice 15 minutes walk

Beautiful property with views over El Calafate. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Good breakfast each morning. Nice staff.

They charged us in the ‘MEP’ rate, which we didn’t think was allowed. For context, there are like 8 different exchange rates in Argentina. The official rate, which you get if you get your money out of the ATM is around 400 pesos for £1, and Bla Lodge charged at a rate that was 800 pesos for £1. So if you had taken your money out the ATM and then paid this rate then you would have paid double!!

The property was located just a few minutes drive from the city center. The back patio/outlook was beautiful, and the whole complex felt relaxing and quiet. The front desk representatives were very kind and helpful! The breakfast had a nice variety.

The heater was malfunctioning in our room, so it was a bit hot at night!

Super friendly reception on arrival - great atmosphere and a wow factor x 500 view of the lake and mountains for you to enjoy over a lovely breakfast - Max could not have been more accomodating and ready to pleasantly make simple any small complications in my travel plan - change of date via BDC - late check out before 30 hour bus to Bariloche - he messaged me the door code and left room key when i unexpectedly was out late with friends and Martin his colleague was equally helpful when i messed up the booking - just a great attitude understanding backpacking needs and honestly the eggs and breakfast were far superior than the five star Wyndham Splendor where i had also stayed Even the kitchen / room cleanibg lady was a sweetheart with a great attitude to her greatky appreciated hard work - bravo !!.A cheap taxi to bus terminal or town this treasure has personality , laughter and with the stresses of travel calmy and pleasantly understood you cannot fault and only applaud the team , the venue and the location . Best of the three hotels I stayed in during my week stay in Calafete

My first room was delightful but needs soundproofing .I was rapidly given a totatally silent room when I raised this . Get the builders in !
