I chose this place for a week in El Calafate, because it seemed to provide a quiet and green stay outside the town center. It didn’t bother me that the hotel is ~ 1,5 km away from downtown, as I like walking. Moreover, I booked several day trips and they all included pick-up from the hotel. You can also book a shuttle service at the airport that provides drop-off/pick-up at various hotels in town. KCH is situated uphill from the town and the views from the hotel (not necessarily from the rooms) are nice. The rooms are big and clean and the amenities are good. Breakfast was good.

In front of the hotel is a main road which was quite busy untill late at night and you could easily hear the engine noises. The first room I got was situated by the main road and above the bar area and it was noisy from both sources. After asking the management, they kindly moved me to a room on the opposite side and it was much better. It seems that the big windows in the main hall are sound proof since you couldn’t hear noise from outside while eating breakfast and the views were beautiful. Sound proofing should be extended to the rooms, too. Another suggestion would be to provide some vegetables at breakfast as there were none.

The facility was new and spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of outlets, closet space, a large bathroom with an excellent hot shower. The window opening enabled a nice breeze. The breakfast offered lots of options, especially baked goods, juices, and coffee. The bar, lobby and lounge areas were comfortable for sitting. The hotel staff were both welcoming and accommodating with all our requests including storage over two nights between stays while we made a three day trip to El Chaten. We highly recommend this hotel, which is just a ten minute walk to the bus terminal.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible. Breakfast was good, incl. cheese, ham, savory and sweet local specialities. Rooms were comfortable like in the pictures.

Location is very close to the bus terminal (which is great when you take the bus) but quite some walking to the city centre

The only thing I missed was a spare toilet paper in the room which should be standard for a good hotel.

New construction. Quiet. Hotel has gym, swimming pool, and steamroom. Comfobeds. Good breakfast. Friendly stuff. Close to tourists area but better if you have car.

Hospitality of the stage was exceeding the expectations. they understood our needs. Big thanks to florencia for the amazing work at the reception.
