We ended up booking a stay here for 2 nights after our flight to Buenos Aires was cancelled during the worker strike. Our hotel room was so nice, the windows open nice and wide to allow for a nice breeze, the bathroom is very spatious, the beds were so comfortable. Everyone was very kind. We had their delicious breakfast and made a reservation for dinner in their restaurant. The food in the restaurant was so good, we had struggled to find good food in Calafate and ended up finding the best food right in this hotel :) We sat in their courtyard and enjoyed the nice day and even did yoga one night. Upon us leaving they helped us schedule a Taxi to the airport.

A wonderful hotel, a short walk from the centre of the town. We were welcomed by a very friendly member of staff on reception and were able to check in early after he gave us a lot of useful information about the town and the glacier (where to park, which boat to book etc). Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge area in the evening with a bottle of wine, looking out over the gardens. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great location, could easily walk to town. Very nice hotel and grounds, and gardens. All staff except one night clerk were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was fine..traditionally Argentinian. The restaurant is separate..we only had a snack there ..it was just ok. All in all, very nice stay and the flowers plus bird life (ibis, lapwing) made it unique.

The bed was quite firm, and so were the pillows. Everything else was fine.

This is an exceptional property in a rural setting. Top quality accommodation; great staff; amazing breakfasts with home made delicacies such as lemon curd, delicious granola, cheeses, pastries, breads, kombucha - I could go on and on. We were able to borrow 2 bicycles and helmets to explore Lake Argentino...and even an early evening yoga session. Completely impressive place.

I found the toilet to be a little "quirky" - very hard to flush

Location, bedroom, and breakfast were all exceptional.

Our bedroom lock was faulty, and the door wouldn't lock. The receptionist, Genisis, could have been more friendly. She spoke to my husband as if it were his fault. We booked a table for dinner, again, on arrival, the way in which we were spoken to by the waitress, we felt like an inconvenience, so we left and ate in another restaurant.

Our flight was cancelled late at night so this wasn't a planned stay but given the circumstances, it was wonderful to turn up to a huge room which was clean, comfortable and provided a great sleep when we were feeling low. The breakfast was excellent and we were sad we couldn't stay longer to actually enjoy what looked like a beautiful hotel.

Sadly didn't stay long enough to find any issues.

Exceptional old charm hotel. Very well maintained, with very friendly staff and a beautiful property. Just loved the breakfast. We particularly liked the 1 hour yoga class offered by the hotel twice a week. We were also very happy that the hotel offers bicycles for free to their guests, we made use of this facility as we! Great experience!

A Grand Dame Hotel. Once a Sheep Ranch now a lovely hotel. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, with a large window that opened onto a beautifyl wooded yard. Enjoyed having the window open for a cool breeze. The breakfast buffet was very nice in a lovely room overlooking the property. The hotel is a bit far from central downtown to walk but they do provide bikes for free use. We did ride all over Calafate - even down to the amazing lake front to watch the ducks and flamingo. Was hoping for more of an active sheep ranch vibe but did really enjoy this hotel.

A bit far from downtown to walk, so taxi or car is needed. Also, had some difficulty finding this hotel at first. Could use some additional signage. Our room could use a little maintenance (such paint) in the bathroom.

Breakfast was wonderful—lots of healthy choices and freshly baked goods. Great coffee. Very quiet at night and a beautiful setting. Short easy walk to town center.

Bathroom taps were a bit rickety, but no problems getting hot water.

Awesome environment, just a few steps from the Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we could feel the true spirit and traditions of Patagonia (Pancho is great!). The staff is kind and prompt, Nicholas in particular is the best. We travelled with two little babies (2 & 1 year old) and everything went smooth. Breakfast peculiar, very good with local artesanal products.

The place is clean and tidy, but the bathroom could be cleaned a bit harder.
