Friendly and attentive staff. The room was clean, well-appointed, and quite spacious with comfortable beds. The room temperature was a bit too hot, but this could be easily adjusted. Great value for money. The hotel appears to be new, and the staff is clearly making their best effort, which is much appreciated. Staff working in the restaurant and at reception were particularly kind and helpful. Overall, excellent value for money when staying in El Calafate. Highly recommended!

The breakfast could offer more variety

We were expecting worse experience based on reviews 🙈 It was pretty big room, renovated, it’s quite at night. There is no fridge or tea station, but it was never promised in the room description when we were booking. It’s seems being far from center, but it’s 10 minute walk, so very comfortable.

Very clean and good service. We were confused by some of the negative reviews and realized that some of the older reviews seem to be from another hotel that was under and new management.

Cosy room

The main heating system of the hotel was next to our room and the noise was annoying.We stayed two days at the hotel.The first day there was no use of the heating system so no noise but the second day we were not able to sleep.The reception officer told me many times that he cannot stop the main heating but only after informing that I will post this issue ,he turned it off ...for the night.Early in the morning we woke up with the same annoying sound.

Our room was next to the main heating system, and during the night, there was a loud disturbing noise. The personal, after a few times of notification, turned it off, and we managed to sleep.In the morning, we woke up again by the same loud sound.

The reception was helpful, location was pretty decent - close to bus station and to centro (5-10mins taxi) or 20 mins walk. Room was clean

No air con - so it can get abit stuffy during day time in summer, exactly the same breakfast for the 4 nights we were there.

Staff at the reception was really agile and helpful. Bed and sheets where good and clean.

My wife and I were going out for a picnic and asked the bar staff for help, in order to open a wine bottle. One of the staff helped us and opened the bottle, and the other said that we should pay for that service. We ended up not paying, but it was a really uncomfortable situation, since we were not planning to consume it inside the hotel property. Breakfast pictures in the hotel profile are a bit misleading, showing beautiful pastry and a wide variety of fruits, when the reality are well more simpler than that. The coffee itself also tasted really bad. Not being able to control the room temperature.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The girls at the cafeteria, the cleaning ladies and the staff at the reception, all very professional.

When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed that they were performing construction works, so half of the hotel was unavailable. We thought at first it was closed, but no. Rooms were big, but you can even hear your neighbours’ whispers. So if you’re looking for somewhere quiet, think of elsewhere. They also felt old and requiring some more maintenance. Breakfast was very basic. You can tell they didn’t put any effort in the quality of products, and that they were saving costs. However, the staff was great and very attentive. The swimming pool they advertise would be perfect for children, but more than 3 adults would be too many. The only “Spa” facilities I was able to see was a hot tub, don’t know if there are others. You can definitely tell they need deep maintenance, but accepting customers while you do that and keeping your prices as if you were 4 star business as usual is not fair.
