Fabulous staff, spa and indoor pool. Beds are big and comfortable! It has all the comforts given its remoteness and though the cost of food is elevated, the quality was outstanding. Great water pressure and stunning vantage points. Awesome morning breakfast spread was quite the value. Even though it’s far from the center, most hotels are spread out in general and because of its location, you can get picked up last and brought back first when going on some tours :) There’s a pretty lakefront walk that will take you into town scenically if you’re up for the long walk!

I didn’t love the distance from the center but the staff was so incredibly helpful to call taxis or offer the evening-only shuttle offered.

The service is really great, they are all trying to help you with your stay. The rooms are nice and clean, but the bathrooms are a bit old fashioned. The shuttle bus to the city is very helpful

The timetable of the gym is a bit unusual, as it opens only at lunchtime, and we did not have a chance to use it. It was also quite hot in the rooms, we had to turn the radiator off and open the window

It was a small boutique which is nice. The little restaurant is pretty good, and they had a nice breakfast buffet.

The hotel was pretty conservative on handing out complimentary water, just one 12oz per person per day, that's a pet peeve of mine. The gym was NOT good, all the cardio equipment was old, barely moved and rickety, and there was no air circulation up there, in the attic. No water or towels, and it had a bad odor.

has on-site spa services available. the lady on reception was so friendly and personable free parking good views from the restaurant overlooking the lake. recommend paying in pesos to qualify for the tourist (blue) rate, we used visa and received the blue rate automatically when doing so.

There was problems with the heating when we stayed the first night it was too hot and couldn’t be turned down / off. spa hotel but no steam room the road leading into the hotel is gravel and the car would struggle to climb up without skidding hot water wasn’t amazing

We had an amazing stay. The room and facilities are beautiful and well-kept, and the staff is super friendly. Access to the pool and spa, as well as hourly transfers to the city center are included in the price (it’s a 5 minute drive). Breakfast is excellent. It really is a great value for the price of the stay.

Just 2 details to improve: Add more vegan options at the adjacent restaurant (they have 1 vegan salad, and it is not gluten free). Any vegetable protein would be highly appreciated. The rooms could use more electrical plugs. We only had 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom. None of these were a deal breaker, though. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

The staff were friendly especially Sofia at the front desk. We got a complimentary room upgrade and complimentary massages which was great

The hotel is quite outdated, and in need of modernising I would not call it a 5 star hotel, more like a 3-4 star hotel

Overall ok

The pool was very small, and smelled too much chlorine was not inviting at all, not as nice as described in the pictures. After a big excursions in Calafate , one needs a nice pool to rest and that wasn't met our expectations.

We had a very relaxing stay in a great room with a fabulous bathroom that included a jacuzzi bath , walk in power shower an adjoining living room and fantastic views. I had an amazing massage - back and neck and the swimming pool was lovely after a day visiting the glacier and national park . The staff were all very professional and helpful.

Great facilities and views of the mountains. All the staff were very friendly, and informative. They did all they could to make my stay comfortable

There was a heating issue which was remedied and it’s a bit dated but everything was clean and comfortable

Very nice staff, clean and spacious rooms, very good breakfast with a large choice and shuttle bus every hour to and from the city center.

The spa facilities could be updated
