Staff were brilliant. We arrived a little early and whilst we couldn't be given our room number staff still kindly directed us to the general area so we could park close to the room we'd be in. We went to the bar for a drink in the meantime and the staff member made our drinks and then escorted us out to the best seats on the patio and made sure we were comfortable. Also gave us advice and directions for a wonderful nearby restaurant. Just so kind and friendly!

Such a shame the restaurant at the hotel isn't open on a Sunday but staff directed us to a nearby restaurant that had stunning views and delicious food.

Restaurant food and service was great. Room comfortable. Air Conditioner nice and quiet. Great surrounds considering how close to town. Easy walk over bridge into town. Pool clean.

Was expecting the larger spa in our room to accommodate couples. Ended up not using. Walls between rooms a little thin, could hear people next door talking normally (not shouting). Some window shutter slats broken/missing. Had to place pillows in front for privacy. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Grounds well kept but hotel buildings looking a little run down and needing maintenance on outside.

Overall very impressed with Lincoln Downs Resort. The added bonus of the onsite restaurant is so convenient. Beautiful room and amenities. Friendly staff. We had dinner at the restaurant, highly recommend. Superb range of food, no need to go anywhere else. Great atmosphere. You feel far from town but it's only a short walk or drive if you need too. Will stay again for sure.

There was no pricing for the in-room snacks & mini bar. Had to ask at reception for pricing after we had already started helping ourselves thinking it was free. No problems though, the friendly staff let us know straight away. Reasonably priced.

We booked the Lakeview Suite - there seemed to be only one of these and took up the whole bottom row to our surprise. Big suite, lounge dining, kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms one with a spa in it. Bathroom had double shower heads and a sauna! Room overlooked the lake. Air conditioning in each room. Separate toilet to bathroom. Perfect for two couples for a get away. Restaurant prepared us awesome meals, surf and turf with steak and beef cheeks and vegetables were lovely. Really lovely place to stay. Beds super comfortable, lovely linen. Comfortable lounge for watching TV. Could cast your phone. Loved the stay here. We were there on a weekend when the staff had also a wedding to look after and they still managed to take good care of us despite the enormity of their weekend at the venue. Would definitely go back.

Baggage needed to be taken down stairs to the room from the car park. A ramp for those less capable would have helped. If there was one I didn't see it. There may have been different access so if it matters please check with the venue as I might not have seen where to go. 👍🏻

Lovely setting and facilities.

The bathroom seemed unfinished or was not designed very well at all.. There were no towel rails, yet there was plenty of room for them to be installed! The handwash dispenser was not next to the basin. The splash from the shower did not flow into the drain, leaving a very wet bathroom floor after a shower. We requested and were given fresh towels for our second night, so it was not a major issue. Unfortunately, we could also hear the neighbour through the adjoining wall.

It is a very attractive hotel in a lovely lakeside setting close to the town and beaches of Batemans Bay. Our ground floor room was spacious, comfortable and clean, overlooking the lake. We enjoyed a good continental breakfast each morning and also had a couple of very nice dinners in the hotel’s restaurant.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. Perhaps the only slight thing was that daily room service wasn’t provided as a matter of course, but requests for additional services were soon carried out.

The resort had a lot of facilities to use: restaurant, pool, tennis court, gym, bike hire, and the room we booked had a spa. Breakfast was additional, but the continental breakfast had a lot of variety (I liked the pastries) and they offered hot food from the kitchen on the weekends. Close to a petrol station, and just need to walk or drive over the bridge to get to the main shopping district of Bateman's bay.

It was difficult to fill the kettle from the bathroom tap in our room, we had to use a cup to transfer water. This wasn't a big issue but just a minor inconvenience.

the a/c system cut as you leave the room... it was super-hot when stayed and was annoying when leaving the room for 30ins the a/c would switch off. over all a very nice place and i will return for sure. the conditioner was empty in the bathroom, i send an email but didn't get a response. good choices of craft beer behind the bar :)

the food i had from the restaurant...KFC chicken. was expecting some nice boneless pieces of chicken and a small side of chips...but all i received was 4 chicken wings and salad (you don't make friends with salad)..$20.00 is a bit much for a few small wings. probably won't be eating at the Restuarant again. the Catalina club is the winner for me in Batemans bay area. great menu and food is big portions,

It was nice to look out of your room to the lake. It would be nice to be able to walk around the lake in the evening. I found the food was excellent in the restaurant, could have had an extra staff member on. The waitress we had work hard, it would be nice to have bread and butter plates and a knife in the room especially if you would like to have cheese in your room or a note that you could go to reception to get some.

Parking was a slight problem with not enough space for the cars in our block or other people using wrong spaces. Booking through Booking.com not good would of rather book Strate to hotel.

Very clean, quiet and well equipped room. Friendly staff. Although the resort was next to the main road, there was very little traffic at night so we didn't hear any noise from the road. The surrounding grounds were very well kept and gave a nice feel to the place.

Although not a big issue, when driving back from Batemans Bay town in the dark it was difficult to see exactly where the entrance to the resort was. We overshot and had to turn round further along in the road. One extra thing to check is the closing time of the main office; the information from Booking.com showed 9pm but on Monday - the day we arrived - it was actually 6pm.
