On check in I found I had been upgraded to a queen room which was most appreciated! The room is well appointed and very well renovated with beautiful cabinetry. The bed is comfortable - soft but firm enough for good sleep and the pillows perfect for me. The bathroom is spacious and aesthetically pleasing with large format tiles in neutral tones. The walk in shower is roomy with excellent quality tap fittings - a rain shower head with separate handheld shower head and mixer tap in a convenient location. Overall the room is welcoming and fresh, somewhere I would stay again.

The main door to the room had only a simple lock in the door handle. There was a chain but no receiving end for the it. This left me feeling a little anxious about security.

The generosity in accomodating our specific needs at no additional cost to us. The good facilities for people with disabilities.

Only mirror was in bathroom (although it looked as though there were intentions to install one). A mop or something else to dry the bathroom floor with after showering as it overflows from the shower recess making it dangerous for any person with walking or balance problems. (This is a common problem in disability access bathrooms in accommodation).

Hive Hotel has had a facelift and the rooms are very nice. A good sized and comfortable bed, beverage making facilities and a large bathroom (shower) with very nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner. A small, but very adequate, bar snacks are available in-room to purchase. Milk is complimentary. Bedside powerpoints have USB-A slots to charge your devices. The hotel is about five minutes walk from the river. It's even closer to the IGA and Woolworths, if you need to stock up before doing some exploring of the local are. If you come across the proprietors, you'll find them to be two of the nicest people you could hope to meet; their dogs are just as nice.

The Hive Hotel is great and it is certainly value for money, but keep in mind that it is a renovated 70s era motel with 70s soundproofing. If noise bothers you, bring ear plugs. I did and sleep soundly through the night.

Very convenient walked everywhere, assigned parking, online booking, key collection, and box for key drop off. Room brand new renovation, toiletries provided including make-up wipes and makeup mirror lighting nice surprise more hotels should have! Seats outside including BBQ area and pool, on the highway, but no real highway noise can be heard.

Some people made comments about owners, to be honest, didn't have any interactions with them, just saw them a few times, nil hello nil goodbye, which personnel was good.

The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, well set out, full set of appliances, the room wanted for nothing. No noise from adjoining rooms. If I had a negative the fridge was annoying, low continuous humming noise. The bathroom absolutely amazing, again very spacious with an extremely high standard of tasteful colours and finish.

Friendly service, sadly lacking. No meals available. No information booklet in the room to offering alternatives. Our check-in was self-serve, we could have actually arrived and left without seeing anyone connected to the motel. I found the title "Hotel" confusing and unfitted.

hotel was recently refurbished - the room and bathroom was well equipped and had a modern touch. Room was very clean upon our arrival. Providing beach towels was a nice touch. Check in was also very easy, they had a self check-in box and no paperwork had to be done! Would 100% come back for another stay - well situated in front of the golf course and a 5 min walk to the town centre.

The room was very modern and had clearly been renovated, as they were much more updated than the exterior of the property! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. A modern bathroom had all the amenities needed, and the tea/coffee making facilities were great. There is also a mini bar if you want to purchase any additional snacks.

Conveniently located, the Donga style budget suite I choose was fantastic value for money for the area, shower was great, bed was comfy, room was clean and had everything I needed, access ramp was good too.

Plenty of parking though not at the door. The staff did tell me this beforehand.

It is a convenient location, easy to find after a long drive. It was economical. It was lovely to see some people with their pets ... so good to see that pets are accepted. Bird life around the hotel was wonderful.

I didn't realise that Moruya cafes would be closed on the holiday weekend but it was an easy drive up to Batesmans Bay.

Centrally located. Easy access to amenities and park for our little puppy. Room were really nice. Spacious bathroom. Bed was super comfy. Too bad we only stayed one night. Easy contactless check in which was a very nice bonus.
